Lazaro’s Pizza

First time here. Not bad. Pizza was fresh, breadsticks were nothing to brag about and the Spaghetti & Meatballs just so-​so. Staff was friendly though and the menu is vast, we’ll try it again sometime.

I recently moved to the area from midtown and did not think I would find a pizza place like some of places downtown, but this place is tops those places thank you Unilocal and critics for showing me this place

We went there based on other reviews, and it was great! We got a little of everything (pizza, wings, salads, chicken Alfredo, tacos, etc.) Everything was freshly made with quality ingredients. I am definitely recommending this place to all of my friends. They just need to put a menu on their website.

Two words: FAJITA TACOS. My husband and I keep coming here for their tacos just because we can’t get enough of them. Their pizzas are good too. Definitely should try if you’re in the area.

I found this place via Unilocal.My mother lives in the area and I’ve never noticed it. I ordered the XL pepperoni pizza for $ 8.95 and when I went to pick it up the guy asked if I’d ever been there before and I told him this was my first time. He then gave me a free soda to go along with my pizza… Thats love! The pizza was great and I will order again. I actually haven’t been back yet because I want to link up with the guys and order that pizza and taco special. I’ll post an update on that in the coming weeks (NBA Finals) along with pics. Who doesn’t like pizza and tacos?
UPDATE: I ordered the Lazaro’s Special… Great deal… I wish I split the tacos up because I ordered the fajita beef which was great… so great… That I’ll probably never order chicken… I also ordered the Chicken Alfredo and it came with mushrooms… I didn’t get a chance to try it because my gf ate it all… Pizza, 10Wings, 6Tacos and Chicken Alfredo all for $ 33 can’t beat that…

I saw the reviews for this pizza place and the store was 11 minutes from my house, so I decided to try it. I looked at the menu and noticed they had a margarita pizza which many small pizza places don’t have. So I ordered the Small Margarita pizza. When I got there, they already had my pizza ready for me and it was exactly $ 5.95. I couldn’t wait to eat it so I took a bite in the car and I was so surprised. The dough is very chewy and flavorful and all the ingredients were fresh. There wasn’t a bite I didn’t enjoy. If you’re from around the area you should definitely try out this place

Recently moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a decent pizza place. This area is basically served by chains so I was hoping for something a little different. I stopped by and ordered a pizza; the place is definitely not anything to look at, but the people were friendly, took my order, let me know my pizza would be ready in 15 minutes. Sure enough it was. I took it home and as good a pizza as I have eaten in Houston. The folks here are delivering a really quality product at a price that is embarrassingly low. If you pick up or get pizza delivered from this place, I’m pretty sure that you will be happy with your choice. I definitely want to try some of the other things on the menu. Great pizza. Just try it.

Found this smaller place on Unilocal and gave it a shot, really glad we did. Got the Lazaro’s special, talk about getting bang for your buck. Got a pizza, 6 tacos and 10 wings for under 25 dollars pick up special. Food was great, will definitely be returning.

We just bought a new house in a new neighborhood and called Lazaro’s to order pizza to feed the poor, unfortunate souls who agreed to help us move. It was super good! Lazaro’s just gave me one more reason to be excited about our new house. We tried the margherita, the meat lover, the supreme, and the pepperoni and all were just fantastic. I won’t even miss star pizza with Lazaro’s in the neighborhood.

Been going to Lazaros for the past 10yrs, ever since I had any type of change in my pocket & can afford to eat out! Chicken fajita tortas are my all time favorite. All around great food & service. Never had them deliver because I live right behind the restaurant but I’m pretty sure they’re great at that also.

This is not the ideal place to dine in. I recommend you take your food to go, but BOY is the food good. I had the Tuscany pizza, which is beef fajita and mushrooms with tomato sauce. This pizza was so good I posted the pic on Unilocal,Instagram, AND Facebook. I had to tell the world. It’s nice to be able to find a place which does such a good job at making my taste buds dance. I’ll definitely drive on occasion just to have some of this pizza. We need to get them more successful so they can open a location on the South side of town. This way I can have them more often.

The food was awesome !!! The piZZA was fresh and hot fresh ingredients reasonable prices just awesome all around. Will get my pizza from here from now on !!!

I was searching on Unilocal recently for food places in my general vicinity and this place came up. While it is only about 5 miles from where I live the drive time is about 15 minutes due to the roads that have to be travelled.
I ordered a pizza last week for dinner. It was a custom with beef, mushrooms and white onions. The medium size (12′) with tax was right at $ 10. I ordered it over the phone as I was driving there. The order taker said it would take 15 minutes. When I arrived the pizza was almost ready. I took it home and began eating. You can eat it there as they have a few tables and chairs but this is primarily a to go type of operation.
That was one very good pizza. Pillowy crust (medium crust), gooey cheese and plentiful and good tasting toppings. It was a lot of food and now I am a fan.
Going forward I will remember this place. I admit I am a little lazy to make a 30 minute round trip to get a pie however I just might because it was that good.
If you live in the area of this restaurant this is the place to go for pizza. They also have some pasta dishes and sandwiches. I took a pic of their menu.
Considering how good their pizza’s are and at that price point, I could see me one day giving this place a 5.

I’ve Tried ordering pizza here twice and got turned down both times. The first time I tried ordering $ 300 worth of pizza an hour before they closed and they told me they couldn’t do it in time and he hung up on me. I just called again today to deliver to my home and I live 2.1 miles away and they said they don’t deliver here and they just told us no way they could deliver there. The employees don’t seem to understand the value of a customer and are so willing to turn away business anytime. Will definitely not try to order pizza there ever again

Solid pizza place. I discovered this place not to long ago thru Unilocal,as it is located in an unassuming place. I passed by it all the time and never knew it was there. The pizza tasted fresh and we enjoyed it. I even took some to work for everyone on my team one day, they all liked it as well. I’m not a fan of their tacos, but one of my friends that I told about this place likes the tacos more than the pizza.

We ordered the southwest pizza, it was very flavorful, love the crust! Ordered the beef fajita tacos as well. Tortillas were fresh & warm. Only criticism is, i prefer my fajita beef cut thinner rather than in square chunks. All in all, we will probably order again…

I always get the best service!!! But today we went light! Just wings!!! My kids love the fajita tacos, my husband the wings, me… the lasagna… its an awesome place!!! Try it!!!

This has got to be some of the best pizza I’ve had, hands down. I was introduced by my co-​workers ordering all the specialty pizzas on the menu and damn… they were ALL good. But the fajita pizza?! Whoa. Fantastic. The meat lovers, the Supreme, the chicken pizza… all were absolutely wonderful. #Foodgasm
If the consistency in their food and customer service match my experience with the food, Lazaros you will have completely won me over as a fiercely dedicated customer.

I searched for a place that was easy to get to and served something different — or anything — that wasn’t sold on NW Freeway. After reading the glowing reviews, I made my way to this place. It was a bit a drive — about 14 min — but totally worth it!
I wish I had ordered since I spent 15 minutes waiting for my food — time away from my lunch hour — but that was my mistake. I didn’t like that there wasn’t a menu online to pick food from so I had to take my chances.
It is in a strip mall that are pretty prevalent in that part of town. Great to know there’s a dry cleaner next to it — I can drop stuff off during lunch. The prices are reasonable and I love that the have personal pizzas — at $ 5.95 each, it’s a steal.
I ordered the Mexican Pizza and was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty good. The tomato sauce was a bit.off. I can’t explain it but the whole pizza was pretty good.
It isn’t very big inside and the fact that they have a gate INSIDE tells me a lot about the neighborhood. I’m sure it’s pretty safe but it is in Inwood and I grew up near there so I understand the need for a gate.
Food was reasonably priced and quick. Definitely will be going back and, hopefully, I don’t have to listen to religious commentary on the radio while I’m waiting. It’s not too bad but I was somewhat offended at some of the things the commentator was saying, since I“m not Catholic. They really should keep their beliefs to themselves, even if it is their business.
Overall, will definitely do pick ups and not wait for food.

I didn’t know that this place was right down the street from where I work. I just saw it in a list of nearby eateries and the reviews lead me here. How could a small, hole in the wall pizzeria be? To quote Unilocal,«As good as it gets!»
When you think of pizza and you use that handy app to order it, shame on you! This mom and pop shop certainly lives up to the reviews. Fresh dough, fresh veggies, and tasty meat toppings. Not to mention (and this seems trivial… until you find that your delivery guy didn’t provide any), they provide you with pepper and cheese packets. That alone is a hook for me.
Sure, the four tables and chairs don’t make for the best dining experience, but it works.
The only downside I see (yes, there is just this one), is that they don’t serve pizza by the slice. But the small personal 5″ pizza costs far less than a small human sized slice at the local New York style parlors.
Come on out and pick up a pie!
