Great Dr /​Horrible Phone Customer Service & Administrative: I’ve gone to Shelly Leeds-​Richter for years and think she’s a great OB GYN. She is fast and efficient with routine stuff, but will take the time to answer your questions and is careful and thorough when there is something important that needs to be addressed. She has office hours at satellite offices which make it easy to get in close to my office or my home. My ONE COMPLAINT is their office systems and phone systems which are HORRIBLE. I’m writing this as I’m sitting on hold for over 30 minutes. I’m hopeful that Dr Richter or the office will read these reviews at some point and please make some administrative improvements. PLEASE

I got the joy of meeting doctor Leeds Nurse Practitioner today. I love to put off my yearly well woman’s exam because as a self pay patient it usually cost and arm and a leg and is every bit as painful… I was beyond impressed with the staff which was amazing! I was extremely impressed with how incredibly knowledgeable and friendly the NP was. Another cool secret about NP’s (nurse practitioners) is that they can get you in quickly. So, I loved the fact that I booked the appt on tuesday and saw the NP on thursday, which was great! I was also thrilled when they gave me a discount for not having insurance and my well woman’s exam was less than $ 150. It got even better when they told me that they had a deal for patients like me, where if I prepaid for my lab work it would cost almost nothing compared to the usual hundreds. They have also relocated to 7900 Fannin, the new building is really lovely and I love the fact that all day parking is only $ 5 compared to $ 18 – 36 in the Medical Center. They also have a lab on the 1^st floor so you don’t have to go far for blood work. These guys actually made going to the doctor enjoyable and they have certainly made a new patient for life! Thanks!

I visited Dr. Leeds-​Richter for the first time in April ’09. I was very pleased by her disposition and bed side manner. She seemed to be interested in me which I really like. I plan on going back to her for future visits.
