I enjoy Lenny’s but this location has terrible service. I witnessed two cars ahead of me in the drive thru leave without paying and without food after waiting 25 minutes and noone coming to the window. There were all of two customers inside at the time. The next time I came they butchered the order and were entirely unapologetic. Never going back to this location.

I ate here today for lunch, i should’ve listened to my first mind and went to Jason’s Deli, I ordered #25 which was A1 philly cheese steak and my co worker ordered buffalo chicken… I didn’t like my sandwich at all by far the worst sandwich I’ve ever ordered anywhere! My co worker didn’t like her sandwich either … So with that being said I’m never going back!

I would give no stars if I could!!! I came here to pick up a kids meal for my son. Mind you, no one was in the shop or in the drive through at this time. I tried placing my order through the speaker, the attendant was unable to hear me so I pulled up to place my order at the window. I had to repeat my order nearly 3 times before they got it. The gentlemen charged me an additional amount for chips and juice which were included in the meal. When I made him aware of it he went to the manager who, I’m guessing, told him to ask me if I wanted an extra chips and a drink. I said, «no, I don’t want to pay for something I did not order, can you please just correct the charge?» The gentlemen asked for my card again so he could void the ticket, I gave him the card so he could do so and then he returned my card back to me. I am still waiting for my food and 5 minutes later the manager asks me for my card again. I told her that I already gave him my card for a second time, she said he said he didn’t get it! I am furious at this point and 15 mins have passed since I ordered the sandwich. They finally get the ticket issue resolved and they hand over the food. I asked about the apple juice, he told me that they had run out, would I like something else? I asked for a lemonade and had to wait another two minutes to get that! I will NEVER go here again. The worst experience I have ever had. Whoever owns this establishment should seriously consider do ending a day in it. There is no reason it should take 20 mins to get a grilled cheese sandwich!!!

We had a box lunch provided for us today and it came from this sub shop! I’ve never heard of it and my first time! I got the turkey sub, raisin cookie, jalapeño chips, and soda! I’m not a huge fan of sub shops, since my experience with jimmy Johns in college wasn’t good. Anyhow, the sub was freshly made! Bread was soft! The jalapeño chips were definitely spicy and tasty! I’ll definitely will try Lenny sub shop closer to where I live! Hope the quality is consistent!

My favorite sandwich shop. I love their hot pepper relish. Its actually great to put on anything you cook at home. My favorite menu items are the chicken salad #19 and the buffalo chicken sandwich. The manager is very customer service oriented and appreciates feedback. The store is maintained well and clean. We even use this location at work for catering orders as they will deliver.

I thought this place was good but not great. The staff was super friendly and the food came out really good. I wish they would list the options for toppings and such somewhere since you cannot see the options behind the counter. I would have enjoyed my sandwich more if I had known there were more options to personalize it. I will still be back and choose this place over other sandwich shops in the area.

Have lived in Houston for 5 years and my friend always raves about this place, finally got around to trying it yesterday and was quite pleased! I got the Philly Cheesesteak(heroic size, yes that is a 15″ long sandwich) and I don’t regret anything… except that I didn’t wait to dig and thoroughly burnt the roof of my mouth. Bread was soft, meat was shaved thin and seared to perfection, the cheese was all gooey and melty. It comes with sautéed onions and bell peppers which were barely seen throughout the sandwich but didn’t make it any less tasty. I ate half at the restaurant and took the other half home and had it for dinner, it was just as good the second time around. Staff were very friendly and helped pack up the leftovers, maybe they have new employees since the negative reviews they received b/c they were all awesome.

When this place 1st opened we would eat here all the time but we moved & stopped coming. Anytime I’m close by, I always stop by for my favorite chicken philly sub! Yummy! It’s simply the best! My son had the hotdog & it was a very good sized hotdog that shocked me when he was able to eat it all(5yrs old). I’ve also had the cookies which are very good as well! I just wish they had kettle jalapeño chips.

I would have to put Lenny’s above most sandwich shops do to the freshness of their meats. The blackbean burger is a phenomenal veggie alternative that I would highly recommend! Park is a bit of pain. This place also has a drive-thru which is convenient.

Their Italian sandwiches are good, when they remember to put on the pepper relish. There have been times when it was light or missing altogether. So now I ask for a small amount on the side. The restaurant is clean and usually dead. The reason for the 3 stars and not more… the employees are not real excited to be there. Where at some restaurants employees can be too excited, Lenny’s is on the other end of the spectrum.

I really enjoy Lenny’s sub shop, but it doesn’t feel like a healthy option as they layer on delicious layers of fresh meats, cheese, and sauces on a hearty bread which ends up being a heavy lunch. They have a wide variety of hot and cold sandwiches, the best being the Italian Sub for cold and Philly for hot sub’s. Getting to this particular location is a bit annoying and be sure to turn to the right of the parking lot as the front area is small and a pain to get in and out of.

Lenny’s is top of the chain when it comes to sandwich shops. All the ingredients taste so fresh, and there are a variety of sandwiches to try. I always stick with the mile high turkey(1⁄3 lb of meat on a kaiser roll), which is smaller than a regular sub(½ lb). The large has 1 lb of meat on it… or something absurd. I don’t even think the sandwiches need mayo. With the thinly sliced provolone, red pepper relish, pickles, onions and lettuce, there is enough going on to keep the sandwich moist. I also like the chicken cheesesteak, I just wish there were more toppings that were appetizing for a cheesesteak(namely, mushrooms). There is a plentiful amount of white american cheese that melts and makes a gooey blanket over the chicken. No gourmet cheese, but it’ll do. I love their brand of chips. Some are regular, some are baked. Jalapeño are the bomb. This is the only Lenny’s I know of in Northwest Houston now… so sad that the 1960 location closed. :(We need to help this location stay open!

Great sandwiches but terrible service. Staff acts as if they rather be somewhere else. Twice in last two visits, poor uninterested service. Although I had been a regular customer for over a year, I will not return!

I’ve seen this place around for years and finally got to try it on our last trip to Houston. I ordered an Italian, but mistakingly I ordered a large which was about the size of my arm. This would have been okay. I would have eaten the rest later, but I just thought the sub was way too salty. Perhaps it was the cherry pepper garnish that made it over– powering with salt? But then again my friend said the same thing about his cheesesteak that was sans the cherry peppers. Now I expect sandwiches to be salty(or most any food eaten out today.) It is deli meat after all, but this was the saltiest of the post-Subway subs I have ever had. Just didn’t even seem appetizing to eat the leftover. Service was fast with our large family order. Staff was friendly.

Lenny’s, I forgot how much I enjoyed your sandwich. I used to eat at Lenny’s once a week in the Tunnels when I worked in downtown Houston circa 2005. Now that I work out in Tomball, I was thrilled to find another Lenny’s! You absolutely must put the Hot Pepper relish on your sandwich. It’s what makes Lenny’s.well Lenny’s. The bread here is quite good. They slice the cheeses and meats using a slicer to order. The other ingredients are quite good too. Overall, I missed Lenny’s. I’ll be going back more often. I’m not sure where to rank it amongst the Sandwich giants, but it’s up there.
