Hole in the wall on the east side!!! Cheap delicious steaks and spuds for eight bucks. At least a pound of steak and a pound of baked potatoes for eight bucks. I still can’t believe it. Be ready to get a pat down at the entrance but it’s well worth it. It’s on the East End and the crowd is from the neighborhood. No gentrified crap here. People were friendly, warm and very welcoming. Definitely a must visit. They still don’t have a huge following but I hope they succeed immensely. This place and the people were so nice and friendly. Mr. Patrick, the guy manning the grill is awesome. Talk to him! He is hilarious and a fellow NYer. Ms. Dina, one of the supervisors and Ms JuJu, the bartender are all awesome. I’m definitely coming back and bringing people back. Beware this is not the Ritz, it’s a hole in the wall with cheap drinks and awesome neighborhood peeps.
This may not be a place for everybody but give it a chance and you may love it!
