My husband and I tried Luna for the first time. We had an excellent prosciutto and arugula pizza, and loved the little plate of fresh oregano, crushed red pepper and Parmesan that came as toppings. The atmosphere is casual, with dish towels used as napkins– loved it! They have sandwiches, salads, and desserts too. I’m from New Jersey and this pizza is the bomb. We will be back!

I love thin crust pizza and Luna’s is pretty good! I really like the prosciutto and arugula pizza here. Its light on the sauce, which is perfect because the prosciutto is already pretty salty. The crust is perfect– crisp on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside. I’ve also tried the mushroom pizza(added Italian sausage to it), which was also tasty. Only downside is that the mushrooms made the dough kind of soggy, which I don’t like at all in a thin crust pizza. The mini bottles of olive oil that you can snag by the drink machine to dip your crust in are absolutely adorable! I also like the fresh herb/cheese/red pepper flakes plate they give you along with your pizza– makes it seem more homey and adds a nice touch. This is not the biggest restaurant so you might want to go at an off peak time! Also, $ 15 for a large thin crust pizza is a great price in my opinion.

I was pleasantly blown away by this quaint pizzeria. The décor and ambiance are amazing and the food stands out. Bring the kids and friends cause you can play some games here. Watch out for Saturday nights, it can be very busy.

We got a large sausage+pepperoni+red onion+mushroom+jalepenos pizza. It was delicious. I could only finish two slices, but they tasted fanfreakingtastic. I wish I had room for more food. The crust/bread was crispy and one of my favorite crusts of all pizzas. They give you this little place of parmesan shavings, crushed red peppers and oregano. It was perfect for the crust, which you can eat by itself or you can place a parm shaving on to give it some cheesiness. The only downside to this place is that it’s not that big and it’s crowded/busy.

Food: 5⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Cleanliness: 5⁄5 Décor & Style: 5⁄5 A perfect 5⁄5 for me. Probably the top 3 pizza’s I’ve ever had. I ordered the Margherita with added Pepperoni & Prosciutto. Fresh basil and Mozzarella is superb. There is nothing much to say about this pizza except that it tastes PERFECT. Great beer selection as well. I tend to try new places when I’m in Houston but Luna makes me want to come back each time!

Love love love everything about Luna! It’s cheap, it’s fresh and its stylish! They have adult party games like Jenga, cards against humanity and wood puzzles. The pizza is very thin crust and full of flavor! The pepperoni was very flavorful, even more so with the fresh oregano, red pepper and Parmesan shavings they serve on the side. I also enjoyed the subtlety sweet Leno vinaigrette atop the arugula pizza. GREAT dinner for less than $ 20.

Luna is my favorite pizza place. I usually order the Andouille sausage pizza and love the fresh jalapeños, good ratio of cheese to sauce and their crisp crust. I appreciate the little details like their real cloth napkins and the plate of fresh oregano, Parmesan and chili flakes they serve. It’s a casual but classy place and perfect for date night, girls night or any other night. I dare say the pizza almost tastes better the next day after being warmed up in a hot skillet!

First time — decided to try it based on other good Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed!!! Friendly service, fresh — very tasty Caesar Salad best pepperoni pizza I have had in a long while and the place was full of loyal happy customers…

Well, we’ve found our pizza place inside the loop! The small Caesar salad is more than enough for two people and was very good. We also got the margherita pizza which was excellent, and full of flavor. I took a bite of the pizza, looked at my fiancé and shook my head«yes!», then I turned to notice that two of the staff were watching our reaction — a funny moment of self-consciousness. I’m so happy we found this place!

It was excellent pizza with a very juicy ham. There is nice cashier and clean room in this place. It was my first visit for them, and my impression was not spoiled. Ordered large pizza for three men, it was yammy. Pizza made of high quality ingredients. I think that I will come back here again.

They have a baby changer in the ladies room! I sure hope they have one in the men’s as well. I ordered the personal size pizza; marguerite and added meat(pepperoni). S.O. ordered a personal pepperoni pizza. The restaurant itself is cozy. Of course everything in heights/montrose area is very cozy. The food itself took about 15 – 20 minutes to come out but when it came out it was hot and the cheese was nice and gooey and they also provided a plate of freshly grated Parmesan, chili flakes, and some type of herb. I put them all in my pizza and it was divine. The freshly grated Parmesan was superb. You refill your own drinks but it doesn’t feel like a chore. It’s a neat, hipster type place. There’s wooden games available on the main center table: tic tac toe, Jenga blocks, a cute book on Chinese simplified with helpful English-word-cues. Overall, nice place. Good food. Clean. Kind workers. I would go again and tell my friends too.

Outrageous, ridiculously good, party for your taste buds!!! Carefully selected few options only but outstanding quality. My husband and I were visiting from Austin and we both LOVE Home Slice pizza, however as hard as it was to admit, Luna’s Mushroom pizza was simply outstanding and better! Bookmark this place as MUST try while in Houston. I’m definitely coming back.

I highly recommend trying their prosciutto and arugula pizza. I loved the balsamic drizzle to it too. I ordered my pizza half mushrooms half prosciutto to go. For to go they separated the arugula, prosciutto, and balsamic drizzle in a container. The mushrooms was also very good, but they accidentally added spinach so it did change the flavor profile to the pizza. I enjoyed my pizza immensely and am probably going back. This was my first time trying whipped ricotta and I like it for the most part. It had a creamy and slightly sweet taste to it. The amount of pizza sauce was good because it didn’t mask the flavors of the toppings. If you love lots of sauce, you might want to let them know.

First timers. The employee didn’t greet us but he was nice when he took our order. The place was pretty packed but the service was pretty quick and I like the atmosphere. The dough and ingredients were fresh and tasty. I think my only complaint is the pizza crust could have been a little bit crispier. For a personal size pizza & drink you will pay about $ 12 – 15 bucks(4 small slices). The inside of this place can not seat a big party 6+ people is doing going to work. It was cool they had pac man table top game with free play.

I love!!! I tried it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and had it again for dinner the next day. That’s saying so so much. Pizza isn’t even on my top 3 favorite foods but seriously, Luna Pizzeria was so good. I tried the mushroom, the spicy andouille sausage, the prosciutto arugula.

So I consider myself to be like the fifth ninja turtle when it comes to pizza, so listen up. Although this is not your traditional pizza l can honestly say I DO enjoy the signature style pizzas with its array of fresh ingredients such a ricotta cheese, mushrooms and peppers BUT [big olé’ black booty butt] with all of its fresh ingredients it still does not taste better than a regular olé’ slice of NY cheese pizza. The kind of pizza with the perfect fold. The kind of pizza that is good to the last bite. I am conservative with my pizza, seriously«I want to make PIZZA great again! «and its not rocket science just focus on the dough, cheese and sauce and none of that stuff Obama likes. Luna is the peeerfect place for a first date for those who«swipe» right. Its the kinda investment you won’t regret making especially if she chews with her mouth open. Don’t be afraid to go heavy on the garlic either, they have mouthwash in the bathroom. #YOLO

I love pizza. This is a pretty good pizza joint! 9″ for $ 9 for personal size, $ 15 for a large. You can choose from their signature pizzas or create your own. They also have sandwiches, salads, soup, and beer & wine! We got their signature pizza, a large Spicy Andouille(about 9 big slices): andouille sausage, jalapenos, red onion, red peppers, green onions. We added mushrooms for an additional 50 cents. Additional toppings are 50 cents while meat is $ 1-$ 2 extra. Not a fan of the red onion but the pizza was delish!!! Even the thin crust stayed crispy for just a little longer than most places. Our pizza came with a small dish of fresh red pepper, oregano, and small slices of Parmesan cheese(yum). They have games to entertain you while you wait, cuz it can get quite packed/busy real fast. Their seating is like a chipotle type seating.

All of the other reviews are true and completely accurate! Very delicious pizza, super amazing crust(thin but not too crispy or soggy), awesome décor and games for the kiddos to play and not be little turds complaining of boredom. What’s not to love?! 10⁄10 will eat again.

I love pizza. I mean, it’s real love. I think about it when I’m hungry, when I’m at work, and I even dream of pizza. Yes, it’s true. Over the years, my preference for pizza has evolved. I used to like any kind of pizza, so long as it was called pizza. Then, I loved deep dish buttery pizza. Then I loved crust so thin that it was confused with a saltine. But now, I have found that perfect balance of crust, sauce and topping. When you get to Luna, you walk straight up to the register and order your soup, salad, pizza, drink, dessert and pay. They will give you a table number, a glass for your drink and you can make yourself cozy at a table or grab a game from their cool bar seating in the middle of the restaurant. My favorite pizza is the double sauce, double pepperoni pizza. It is perfect. The double sauce is never too much, and I love how the pepperoni gets crispy and curls up just enough to provide that crunch when you bite into the crispy pizza crust. What makes Luna stand apart from other pizzerias is the way they serve the fresh parmesan flakes, crushed red pepper flakes and FRESH oregano. Wow, does this make a huge difference in the eating experience. The fresh herb oregano is something you don’t get all the time. When cooked, the herb is not so much, but when eaten fresh, the oregano on the pizza gives your whole mouth a new fresh pizza effect. If you’ve eaten here before, then you’ll know what I mean. If not, be intrigued and come try it. The roasted garlic tomato soup is creamy and perfect. It is a nice portion and served with buttery croutons on top. The ceasar salad is well-coated in dressing and is topped with fresh parmesan flakes. If you like bottled root beer, the St. Arnold’s taste like creamy vanilla rootbeer. If you want something fresher, may I suggest making your own Arnold Palmer(½ lemonade and ½ iced tea). I love Luna Pizzeria. I love that they have Cards Against Humanity and the staff is super friendly.

Legit pizza is legit! Located in the little plaza that also houses Office Depot, Fat Bao, Sushi King, and Oui can cause parking to be a little bit of a pain in the butt when everybody and their mom want to come out and eat. However, other than the parking situation, Luna Pizzeria is as legit as can be when it comes to Pizza. Yummy crust? Check. Awesome and delicious toppings? Check. Friendly people? Check. Games for the kids(or the adults who refuse to grow up)? Check. Beer and wine? Check. They have several kinds of pizza on the menu including some of your favorites(pepperoni and margherita). Or you can also build your own pizza with different toppings ranging from $ 1 to $ 2 per topping. The pizza comes in two sizes: 9″ personal pizza or a large(I think it’s 16″) pizza that you can share with four people. I love meats on my pizza so I always build my own with pepperoni, meatballs, and andouille spicy sausage. YUM! You add some mushrooms or chicken on there, and you’re set! They also have some games that you can play with your group if you want. Cards against humanity would be a blast to play over some delicious hot pizza. Or, if you’re more of a loner, you can play the free pac-man game on the side and be forever alone. If you live in Houston and you’ve never been to Luna Pizzeria, shame on you! Come here, try it, feel the explosion of flavors in your mouth and then tell all your friends all about it. You’re welcome.
