I needed a beautiful light for my foyer. Because of the outstanding reviews I decided to give this business a try. I was not disappointed. There are so many lights to choose from. They have every style you can possible imagine. The prices range from cheap to extremely expensive. Overall, I was very impressed with the unique selection. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and they had every answer to the questions I asked. They even explained to me the upkeep of the light I purchased. I will definitely be back if I ever need a light again!

Excellent customer service. They stock every type bulb, and go the extra mile to help their customers. If you need something unusual, they have it!

Like another reviewer, my interaction with MM has been as a contractor, but I have been coming to MM lighting for over 11+ years and if it has to do with lighting, they have it and I’m sure they’ll treat you right whether you’re a contractor or a civilian trying to find a chandelier to go with your dining room. They have been around for decades and there is good reason for that.
Unlike the generic lighting selection of a big box store, MM has almost everything. Do you need a Taupe Satin Color multi location Lutron Radio Ra2 dimmer that can dim LED lights? (Who doesn’t?!?) They have it. You need a T-​12 or T-​5 Ballast? They have it! Do you need that one weird European bulb that the chandelier you got from Italy needs? I can’t count how many times I’ve taken a weird part and asked if they have it and they ask me «how many do you need?». Oddly enough, their prices often beat the big box stores.
If you’re not sure what you want then that’s where they shine even more because they have a lab that has every kind of recessed light, trim, and light bulb combination imaginable so you can try it in a controlled environment and see whether it would work for you. If you’re curious about lighting automation, they have a demo of that as well.
The best part for us is that the people who work there are customer-​centric and go out of their way to help customers. Unlike a lot of businesses, the owner is there and often helps customers himself and if something goes wrong, stands behind his products. Leave the big box store for buying wires and hammers, but come here for lighting.

Just a disclaimer: I don’t come to M&M as a regular customer but instead as an account customer, which means I don’t have to deal with the salespeople on the floor.
My boss is the account customer here. However, the way it works is he would get a list of all the light fixtures that he would need at the construction site and M&M will respond back with their pricing. And all I can say is their pricing is VERY competitive compared to anywhere else you can think of.
I’ve had the pleasure of coming here for will-​call orders. The people are always quick and helpful. I’ve also dealt with the delivery driver when they’re dropping off our orders and the drivers are always courteous.
Also, if you go to the will call area, they usually have a whole bunch of ceiling fans that are being cleared out. They’re discounted pretty deep. You can find fans for $ 50 and up. So if you need one, try your luck and see what they have.
And another note, if you’re looking for something that they don’t have in the showroom, more than likely they can special order it for you. Just ask.

I was in M & M lighting today after lots of research and shopping around for a chandelier, pendent lights and fans, and I was so happy to have stopped in. The customer service is something you can NOT get online and is worth so much. Allen educated me and guided me to find the perfect fit for each item. He was very patience with me and I didn’t feel rushed or pushed to buy anything. You can tell he enjoys what he does! The prices are defiantly worth checking out and I will be back soon to order my new items!

I’ve been looking for bath and living room light fixtures for months without much luck. I didn’t find much that I liked, and what I did like was ridiculously priced.
My contractor recommended M&M Lighting so I checked it out. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had what I just wanted and the prices were very reasonable — like half of what RH and all the Richmond lighting stores were charging.
And unlike the showrooms where you have to beg to be helped, MM’s people were very helpful. Red (think young Morgan Freeman from shawshank) spent an hour helping me find just what I needed. And again the prices were great.
If you need lighting for your home, save yourself time and hassle and come here first.

I recently purchased a chandelier and casa blanca fan from M&M lighting. I was impressed at the selection and the customer service. The showroom floor is crowded with a variety of options, so be sure to walk through a few times. I went to many stores and the prices at M&M lighting were almost always the best priced. but what really impressed me was how well they handled the one issue I had. When my fan was installed it did not work properly (not installed by their recommended electrician). I called Keith at M&M lighting and he immediately jumped into action. Their recommended electrician was at my house the same day to resolve the issue. I will go back and would recommend them to anyone. I will also be using their recommended electrician again (Bennet electrician).
