pissed. will never come back… let me just say this, i have been going to m nails for over 10 years. even when i moved out of houston into stafford, i still would drive all the way there in 6 o’clock traffic. i love the way my nails looked and would always tell people that asked to go there, kim does wonderful eyelashes as well. but yesterday made me very upset and disturbed. my loyalty was unrecognized. i came into the shop at 4:20 pm yesterday for a refill. i waited for about 5 minutes til i was assisted by an unknown man who id never saw there before. i asked for almond shaped nails and he told me that because he didnt know how to do them he would charge me $ 5, which i never pay extra for, considering i always spend about $ 20 in designs. so i verbally expressed my unhappiness and he said wait a few minutes until the guy who always does them is finished. i said ok. so the owner kim then tells me they close early today at 5 instead of 6 for a party. she said come back tomorrow. i told her i live too far to come back tomorrow. so i said he could go ahead and do them. i politely walked over to this guy and said ok we can go ahead and proceed since u close early today. totally ignored me with an attitude moving his hands in a sweeping motion as in telling me to go away. how dare you come into our black communities and pump money out of it and have the ordacity to be a disservice. just shows what they really think about the customers. id like to see that attitude in river oaks. pissed me off, that a customer like myself that spends at least $ 40 a visit would treated this way. from now on i will be supporting my own kind. after i left, i called the store and spoke to kim the owner, she couldnt even listen to me without trying to over talk me and just responded with ok ill talk to him. i said never again. u only get one bad experience with me.

This is a one stop nail shop, they do it all, from eyelashes, eyebrows, to pedicures. John does excellent designs as themes and names, while everyone else is top notch in basic designs. Annie, and Tina are my absolute favorites and are the best nail and pedi technician for me. Best bet is to call and make a appointment so that you definitely will be in and out do to overcrowded weekends. First part of the week is the best, and I appreciate how they take care of my 82 year old mother who still enjoys a bi weekly Mani & Pedicure!

This is a great nail shop! I’ve visited a few times now & things are consistant. Note: I don’t were nails, but have had pedi/mani, eyebrow & lash services. This place stays busy, but they are well equipped to keep customers moving. Even when I’ve come on a busy Saturday morning, the wait times weren’t absolutely horrible, nor did they rush through your services. Always been greeted & treated nicely. Prices are very reasonable. OMG their pedi chair will put you in a coma! I once messed up my nail color while leaving out, came back & the lady dang near did my pedi over w/o any attitude, extra charge or complaint. Very sweet people here. Not sure if the lady Kim is the owner(I think so), but she constantly checks on customers waiting & those in their chairs. And Kim must do some serious nails bc I’ve seen ladies wait on her for over an hour. I LOVE the fact Kim actually listened to me when I said I don’t wear my brows skinny & don’t draw them on. Most places assume you want that bozo clown drawn on brow look vs. going for what looks natural or listening to the customer. This is now my go to nail salon. They’re so good, I may try having my nails done again.
