Worse customer service I’ve ever experienced. For starters me and my friend ordered the«seafood» Lo mein and the sweet and sour chicken combo. I had the seafood combo which was nothing but a mountain of over cooked fettuccine noodles with sauce on it. Looks nothing like the pics and I would say a total of 7 shrimp and the smallest crab flakes ever. The noodles were so soggy and stuck together It was horrible. My friend had the sweet and sour chicken and that’s when we noticed Houston we have bigger problems than a mountain of overcooked noodles. There was a bug. INHERFOOD! a little black beetle the exact same size as a grain of rice. You could’ve fooled me if I didn’t see the legs poking from that thing. Not only that, but when I called and complained the next morning right when they opened(because we ordered it to go right before they closed) he said there was absolutely nothing he could do because we took it home and ate a few bites here first. He was not sympathetic, or apologetic. He simply kept it blunt and brief and said«there is absolutely NOTHING I can do ma’am.» Never would I ever. HORRIBLE. Shut this place down.

I could ask my boyfriend a million times why haven’t you taken me to this nice cheap Chinese restaurant and you know what he’d tell me? Oh, Maria there isn’t any good restaurants on my side of town. but nope wait you are wrong… Here’s China One, a super duper inexpensive cheap on the dollar restaurant that doesn’t charge you extra for anything. Even the catering plates are cheap, just $ 25 for a whole tub of food. perfect for someone who doesn’t like to cook and can eat for about 2 weeks. They got some specials and some good specials… my seafood fried rice I ordered was only $ 3.99 for all that food, a veggie eggroll, and a drink of your choice. now I’ve never been to a Chinese take out place where the prices were that low. I thought I was in heaven dreaming when I seen that. Now, the seafood fried rice, I’ve never had in my whole entire life usually Chinese restaurants would have chicken, pork, beef, tofu, or even plain fried rice, but not just a seafood with crab meat and shrimp in it. that was a big score for me because I absolutely love seafood. not the phrase see food. like I see it and eat it. but ocean food. The taste was on point delicious and I tell you what I still have some in the fridge waiting for me to eat. I might even scrambled me some eggs and eat it in the morning for breakfast. The interior of the restaurant was OK nothing special; looked like an average Asian restaurant to me just some tables and chairs, pictures of the menu items in English and Spanish to read, a cooler filled with sodas, waters, canned juices, no alcohol though. Once you get to the counter to order it isn’t all special, just look to your right and you’ll see the pictures. Oh and they did have some cute paper lanterns that I seen at IKEA once. I used to tell people that I didn’t like Chinese food because since I moved back to Houston I couldn’t find any good Chinese restaurant in my area or in Houston, but this one is pretty darn good though it isn’t near my house. I prefer Vietnamese since it is more of a variety and the food is yummy all the time. Anywho, whenever I’m craving Chinese which my body is starting to crave some now I will definitely come here. I just wonder why isn’t there cheap Chinese restaurants like this in my neighborhood. I mean Scarsdale is packed with Asian restaurants and shopping centers. but none of them are cheap like this spot! This place doesn’t suck and the food wasn’t cooked in old oil like they do at McDonald’s — -come here! Food is good and you won’t break the bank!

China One is my go to «to go» chinese food fix. I got the orange chicken, mongolian beef, & special lo mein. All 3 combos come with an egg roll & can soda. The beef & chicken also come with rice. I also got an order of fried rolls & egg rolls, all for $ 26, even. The food isn’t like OMG, its off the chain but its good for what it is.(they also have kids menu). I wouldn’t eat there cause it’s always warm as if they don’t want to pay a high light bill. If you live in the area then hit it up.

The food was way better than my expectation! The price is great, a combo of main course, a can of soda, and a spring roll for just 6 dollars. The portion was satisfying. I ordered vegetables and shrimps, and there were really lots of shrimps, much to my surprise! Totally recommend this place if you just want some simple Chinese food to go, since the area didn’t look too safe to stay any longer!

Best Chinese I have had since we moved to Texas almost a year ago. We were losing hope, thinking there was no good Chinese in Texas. I got the Special Fried rice combo(with soup and egg roll) for $ 8.50. I highly recommend it. Such a little hole in the wall, but such a treasure at the same time!

This place sucks. I won’t waste time on a detailed review simply because this place refused to spend time getting my order right. Oh, the same goes for their cooking oil. You have to change it often because not only will everything taste the same but it will also taste like old oil. Yuck.

We just got take out and it was excellent. It’s exactly what I want from take-out Chinese… cheap, huge portions, salty, a little greasy :). My pork with garlic sauce was pleasingly spicy. We probably wouldn’t dine in, but this area has been missing a non-buffet Chinese place in recent years. Stay away foodies, this one’s for the rest of us!
