Since there isn’t a customer service survey guess I will have to put a review! The store has a good selection of items, and their product is displayed well. However, my checkout experience was horrible. I was only buying a pair of socks, which happened to be on sale and no matter how friendly I was being Ashley was really rude. She never looked me in the eye and was short in all her responses. There was a sign that said extra 40% off so I asked innocently if it was 40% or 30% off, still happy to only receive 30% off. She said she would change it, but you would think I was trying to rob them. I’m not trying to be a person that nickels and dimes, but maybe you should make sure your signage is correct. Awful customer service experience.

This review is strictly for the smug asian girl with a deconstructed a-line bob who was working last night(11−15−13) around 3−4pm. I think she was wearing a chambray button up top and lavender sweater. Without going into details she implied my body was not normal while I was in the fitting room and pushed past me later while I was attempting to look through more clothes. FYI I am 5’2″ and 100 lbs. and have plenty of money to spend.

Madewell is definitely a preference of mine. I preferred more casual, clean, and modern look. Nothing too fussy but still put together. Most of the clothes here are basic items, but great fit and good staple pieces. I rather spend a little more money on staple pieces that I would get more use out of than cheap $ 10 shirts I would wear once or twice. The staff here are really sweet and helpful. Also, I always manage to find great stuff in their sales/clearance area.

I love Madewell, so I’m happy that they finally opened one here. Take that Dallas! I don’t care that you got them first! The store is appropriately placed in the Galleria. It will probably do well against the other popular trendy clothing stores. The store itself is brand spankin’ new, with that new woody smell right as you walk in. Compared to some of the other Madewell stores, this place is a little smaller. Still cute and expensive though! Being the sister store to J. Crew, the style is similar, but it’s younger and a little more hippy. Welcome to denim and chambray! When I can hit a sale, my wallet appreciates it. The prices can range from $ 10-$ 250/$ 300. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The store is past the fountains, upstairs to BR.
