I read other reviews and decided to try this place. I liked the idea of a hotness range. So I tried it, and not believing I ordered things a five. The waitress questioned me and told me siracha sauce is like a two. So I took her recommendations and ordered my Tom yum soup a three and the noodle dish and rice dishes a four. Both were delicious, I can’t wait to come again.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. Their curry puffs and pad kee mao are some of my favorites. They also have a lunch special menu which is a great deal. The service can be slow sometimes but that’s because they get pretty busy around lunch and dinner. This is a regular spot for me and my friends.

Would have given 4 stars for the food but the waitresses were«cold» and seemed like they were to busy to make sure we had refills or to go boxes. When I asked for a to go bowl for soup she never returned. Place wasn’t busy maybe 3 other tables so no excuses. Food was delicious but I will return to my local favorite Esarn Thai when I want a good red curry soup and great customer service.

This restaurant is in our neighborhood and we decided to stop by. This place is awesome! Hubby had yellow curry shrimp and I had shrimp fried rice and everything was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!

Amazing! Warning mild is still very hot! We ate spring rolls, peanut sauce was excellent. We ate the Tom Ka Gui, best I’ve eaten hands down. The Vegetable Party tasted amazing with lots of vegetables. My daughter got Yellow Curry. Perfect sauce with just enough coconut milk, lots of vegetables and chicken. We had to take home leftovers. We enjoyed them for a snack later and breakfast the next day!

Food is so yummy pretty authentic I would say. I wish it wouldn’t be so far from where I live I would be going there everyday. I love their fish cake it is real legit! The service is amazing people are real friendly and I realize a lot of regular. One thing that is bothering me though the picture pf their president wife I believe on the wall is crooked, I am OCD so it was bugging me I wish I could just fix it. But over all 5 stars!!!

I frequent this place sporadically because it’s closer to my house than Nit Noi. The food is great. But my experience today made me decide to not come back. My family(mother, brother, niece and my 2 year old son) and I came to have lunch here. The place was packed with the usual of 2 servers for the establishment. Just two servers. The bus lady took our drink order. After a while a server took our food order. The salad and soup came out, followed by my lunch order. Then 5 minutes later, my brother and niece’s order comes out. A good 10 minutes later, my mother’s food still hadn’t come out. I asked about it, and it then came out a good 5 minutes later. No one checked on us, refilled our drinks or anything. I got up to get my own to go boxes since at this point it was«help yourself«now. When I got the check, I noticed that there was an automatic tip charge of 18%. When I asked about it, they said the table was a party of 5. My son, a 2 year old who did not eat was considered for the party of 5. Not to mention the automatic tip of 7 plus dollars for the CRAPPIEST service we had ever received.

Don’t waste your time. Spend $ 22 on one plate. Way too expensive. And according to the cashier, they’re prices online are incorrect. They are actually more $.

Had the Tom Yum soup and it was the best I have ever had! Also had Pad Thai and it was quite good. Very attentive wait staff. Highly recommended!

Pad Thai and the spicy cheese rolls are the BOMB. I love this place and every time I go I’m always satisfied with the food. Great Thai take out!!! And I’ve even dined in and it was nice. You will enjoy it.

One of the best Thai restaurants on this side of town! Has the authentic taste to Thai food. Sometimes it does tend to get a bit busy and there’s only one or two girls on the floor(when I’ve been), and it takes them about minute or two to get back to you. But, other than that… the food is great!

I was very impressed with this restaurant. Being new to the ‘burbs, I’ve been disappointed with the many ‘watered down’ international food places – leaving out critical ingredients, and lacking the traditional heat and flavor. This was not the case with Mango Tree! I loved that they had spice numbers for most dishes. For my Pad Thai I requested 3 as did my boyfriend for the Red Thai Curry. I loved both dishes! There were layers of intense flavors with both. I have two minor complaints: they didn’t have any chili garlic sauce, only sriracha and chili oil, and they were short handed. Our poor server was running around trying to tend to too many tables. Fortunately, the food was so great, we didn’t need much from her, just an iced tea refill and the check. We will be back soon! I want to try their soft shell crab.

Only because compared to the other Thai spots I’ve frequent it does quite compare. However the food was very hot and not bad. I will return and order something a little different. Son is very picky and not much for him to eat here.

I love spicy food and Mango Tree provides 5 levels of it. Level 4 for papaya salad totally hits the spot, specially when they have a combo where it’s served with sticky rice and grilled beef. The papaya salad mix includes green beans, tomatoes, and peanuts. All are must haves for me as each provides a different texture that absorbs the dressing differently. The dressing is fish sauce based(I’m afraid no restaurant will ever use shrimp paste which tastes better but stinks so much more). During lunch your combo also includes a soup, side salad, and 1 eggroll. They are nice munchies while you wait and won’t fill you up enough to ruin your main meal. For dessert I like getting their Thai Tea to go. Though this is not the best I’ve ever had it’s still better than most of similar genre around the area, providing a good balance of price, portion, taste/spice, and service.

Great food! Cashew nut chicken & pad Thai are my faves… Sometimes get the kids pad Thai only about $ 5 and plenty to fill up on.

A very reasonable priced Thai Bistro. Service was very friendly, food served piping hot, and spicy to your taste. Ordered Stirred Fried Pineapple Shrimp(a combo I never tried before), spiced up to level 4(5 is their max) — so I had sweet & sour & spicy shrimp! It was a rainy Tuesday evening — easy parking — few customers — was not crowded…

Great food! I have always ordered the green curry spicy level number 5. I stepped out of my comfort zone and ordered the Siam noodles extra bean sprouts! So good. I get it at a level 5 spicy with shrimp. Rice noodles so no wheat. My husband loves the curry puffs I would say most everything is good on their menu. It’s s neighborhood favorite around here.

The people that are giving this restaurant high reviews are the reason I tried this place… beyond disappointed. You guys have not tried actual Thai food at real Thai restaurants. The best Thai restaurants are Banana Leaf(mostly a Malaysian cuisine with Indonesian and Thai entrees) in Chinatown and Zato in The Woodlands. Appetizer: Chicken Satay/Sate on a stick. Immediately noticed this looked nothing liked chicken satay but more like a chicken tender from KFC on a stick. Still gave it a try… no flavor and it was hard and rubbery. Told the waitress and she said this is how it is suppose to be. Told her no, been to many Thai places and this is a downgraded version of chicken satay. Entrée: Swimming Angel with battered chicken. Came out room temperature. The broccoli and spinach were thrown into the plate; not steamed or worked in with the chicken. The chicken was sweet which was expected bc of the peanut sauce. Nothing great. Entrée: Beef Flambé. Soo salty. Same issue with the vegetables just thrown on top and not cooked in. Boring, could have gotten this dish anywhere. Service: Family owned. Two waitresses and one front/receptionist that served as fill in waitress. After we received our food, no one came back to ask how everything was or if we needed anything… place got packed, short staff. We had to get up and go to the front to get the check.

Let’s go to dinner before the movie. How about Mexican food? AGAIN??? okay, then how about burgers? Nah, it’s out of the way. Let’s try Mango Tree, a friend had just reminded me of that place and, what the heck, let’s try it. So glad we did!!! Mango Tree is a small, nondescript bistro in a nondescript strip center. We were seated right away, and as we were there, many more patrons came in both for dine-in and takeaway. The bistro was clean(fake plants could have used a dusting) and the ambiance quiet. Not sure a wailing baby would be welcome here(are wailing babies welcome anywhere?) because the dining area is so small. Anyway, I ordered spicy ginger beef, hubs ordered duck, daughter ordered a salad, which she says she always gets. We got our jasmine rice first, and it’s on a separate plate. How charming! It is molded into a shape of a heart!!! Then came our meals and they are so colorful and appealing. It seemed like my veggies must have been prepared upon ordering, instead of pre-chopped and wilting away in a bowl all day. They were crisp and fresh and there was fresh ginger in every bite. The beef was tender and the sauce was tangy. My husband and daughter both enjoyed their meals and ate every last bite. I felt like the chef wanted to present the very best, instead of, ‘here, this is as good as it gets’. This place is a keeper on our list and we definitely will be back. So glad we finally tried this place!!!

Pretty good decent Thai food. Came at 2 today and it was pretty much empty. Staff was nice. I ordered 3 items from the lunch menu in which when I looked at the receipt came out to be $ 8 each, could of sworn it was cheaper on the menu but oh well Lunch portions were bigger than most Thai places and I could barely finish it. It came with the daily special soup, today was Friday so they had hot and sour soup. It was quite spicy but I’m not a fan of hot and spicy soup(3.5÷5) so it was ok. The salad(5⁄5) was the best Thai salad I’ve had. The peanut salad dressing was amazing and so good. The eggroll(4⁄5) was good too! Not greasy My orders came out 5min after I ordered it, I’m not over exaggerating and it was hot and fresh. Wow! Pad Thai– 4⁄5: looked really unappetizing, I thought it would taste bad but surprisingly it was really good! Pineapple chicken fried rice– 1⁄5: I thought it was ok but it was my grandmas dish and she took one bite and didn’t eat the rest. Was pretty bad she said, also had too much curry powder. She also said the chicken had no flavor and wasn’t fresh Green curry– 5⁄5: very good and spicy! I don’t eat eggplants but it was good with the curry. It was also quite spicy and she said that it came like that so I can imagine if someone wanted a level 2+! I would of gave them 5 stars but my grandma said everything she ate tasted terrible and thought Tony Thai had better food. Hehe
