Simply Splendid Donuts & Ice Cream

Donuts are fresh. Facility was clean inside and out. Owners seemed a little unfriendly. It would be nice if the business would list their hours of operation.

The donuts here are so delicious! They are very fluffy and taste freshly baked. The small sausage kolaches are so yummy too, they are better than the bigger kolaches. The items here taste better than other chain donut stores.

It’s right across from my high school so I used to go here every other morning to get donut holes or a breakfast taco! I still come back occasionally when my taco craving kicks in.
Donuts are fresh! I usually come around 6am-​ish and they always have their donuts laid out steaming fresh. The donut holes are so soft and the dough isn’t thick so it’s pretty fluffy.
Potato, egg, and cheese breakfast taco: the taco is really small but the potato tends to fill me up anyway. I’m more of a savory person so this is my go to order every time I’m here. It’s great with a bottle of orange juice!
Coffee aren’t consistent. Some days they taste watered down and some days I feel like they decided to serve quality ones.
The lady that owns the shop is extremely sweet. She doesn’t talk much but she’s generous with the napkins!

Love there doughnuts would of gave it 5 stars but they run out of doughnuts n be open an extra 2 hours n don’t make any more so yea than I have to settle for sum else that happen to me twice but the doughnuts are great

Been coming here for years now and I don’t have any bad things to say about them. Donuts/​kolaches seem to always be fresh which is always good in the morning or even through out the day. Kolaches are a pretty nice size. They offer different types of drinks rather than just water and orange juice that other places might not (starbucks cold coffee & I believe Gatorade are examples). They do have a drive thru so that’s pretty convenient for a morning rush. They also have bags of donut holes (different flavors like chocolate, glazed, powder, sugar) for a dollar which is pretty cheap unless they increased it. It comes with about 10 – 12 donut holes a bag.
I believe they are family owned. From my experience they’ve always been very nice to each and every customer so you can’t complain about bad customer service.

I wasn’t even in the mood for donuts but after passing this place up something told me to make a u — turn and I am GLAD that I did! Even at 2pm their donuts were still very fresh unlike most donuts that begin to become stale and hard after a couple of hours! I recommend the kronut!

This is truly a family owned business. Everyone who works here is so nice. They are super accommodating, and their chocolate old fashioned donuts are to die for. I also like the fact that they have a variety of breakfast items.

Boudin filled collages… First place I’ve seen with these and taste great… plus reasonable in prices

I come here through the drive thru and I always enjoy the donuts and other breakfast this little shop has for customers. Whenever I drive through to get breakfast, I am a fan of the dozen donut holes for a quick meal before class.
There’s also varieties of donuts to choose from when you walk inside to eat. Some kids before school like go hang out at the shop and have a breakfast before they head out. I am a fan of the indoor dining and the atmosphere it involves.
I never really tried anything else but their donuts and the donut holes but I’ve heard of other good breakfast they do serve here. I’m looking forward to trying them all because I am a fan of this shop to come and eat breakfast.
It’s a wonderful donut shop, and open early in the morning so you can get something you want before work or whatever. I am always going to like this place to come and get donuts, and I am looking forward to trying other delicious food there.

Grabbed a cronut, a jalapeño kolache, and a small coffee for three bucks. They threw in a free chocolate glazed donut too since the drive-​thru buzzer wasn’t working & it took awhile to get service. The food was tasty & service was quick. Will be back!

I came to buy 6 donuts with a custom message written on it with icing, asking a friend to be my homecoming date. The store owner really took the time to try and the service is very good! I would recommend this to anyone that wants a quick bite for breakfast

Yay! This first opened when I was still in high school, so I’ve been here plenty of times! The donuts are great, the kolaches are huge! The workers are so nice! One time I went to pick up a kolache as a snack for my sister, and I wasn’t sure if I should get a donut for myself, and I was on the phone with my sister mentioning that, and after they gave me 2 bags, and the second bag had 2 free donuts. Awesome! So friendly!
More people need to come and support them, family owned and great morning food! :)
