I don’t even know what kind of service I just received the lady with the headphones helped us once she finally came out the restroom. Rushed me to order even after I said one second my kids are still looking.
We passed on the ice cream because it was melty and drippy looking. This is a prime location too bad the customer service is lacking we won’t be back.

Just stopped in for a cone. No customers. I must have caught the ice cream girl on a bad day and if you want your mix-​ins actually mixed into your ice cream… don’t come here. I got a couple of chops to my candy selection then a quick roll over of the cream. Ice cream girl should wipe off some tables or sweep since there are no customets but me and it needed to be done. The ice cream was actually good. Customer service, not so much.

The female with headphones in her ears seemed uninterested in serving us. A bit rude, absolutely unwelcoming, n definitely unpleasant. Ice cream wasnt cold. melty, drippy. Topping selection was limited as well. No walnuts, peanuts, n almonds like other marble slabs. Automatically gave me a cup, didnt even bother to ask and when i did get the cone, it was stale!
This is a total miss and complete disappointment. Sucks how its a franchise but this particular owner fails behind all other locations in every aspect possible.
I will avoid this location like a plague n head down to westheimer n beltway’s marble slab.

Don’t go here. Haven’t been as often as I used to but the past two times I’ve been here (within a year), their service sucks and their cones don’t seem fresh.
This time I went to get a cake, and you don’t think you can mess up there right? Wrong!
We asked to just simply write «Happy Birthday» and she wrote «Happy BirthD» on one line and left the bottom empty. We asked her to correct it and it said «Happy BirthD» on first line, «Day» on second line. Lol.
I didn’t know what else to say. She must be on something. We just grabbed a new cake.
But either way, I’ll stick to Baskin and Robbins around the corner. They’re so much nicer there and Jamocha is killer.

They are not friendly here at all. When asked a question, she did not elaborate on her answer, is was a yes or no. I felt as they just wanted us in and out like we were interrupting or something. Won’t be coming back to this place. No wonder there are no other guests in here.

Rather than constantly running groupon specials because they’re not making enough money at this location, they should probably consider hiring a staff that knows how to provide good customer service if they intend to keep their customers.

Bought a groupon for this location, but this is the second time i’ve been to this particular location. It could use a bit of a deep cleaning as it’s kind of dingy inside, but this is a lot cleaner than some of the marble slabs i’ve been to. they don’t give you as much icecream since my cup wasn’t even filled. But the icecream is perfectly creamy, just wish they had more flavors :(Also, no real pistachio in their icecream which sucks

It was my first time visiting this establishment. I was able to be served pretty quickly and I ordered a strawberry shake which was delicious. There are tables and chairs for you to sit inside and bench outside in front. It was pretty warm yesterday so i sat inside. I enjoyed the shake so I will check them out again when I am in this area.

Good service. .went to order my favorite mix, but the girl behind counter told me they had just ran out of strawberries. Highly disappointed, she then saw look on my face and went to back and she came back with two frozen strawberries, I was grateful! A family of five with mixins in all our ice cream, no coupons, paid about $ 21.

I like Marble Slab as a business even though their prices are a bit high for some ice cream. However I’m not a fan of this particular location and will probably never go back. I got 2 difference ice creams and some pecans. She lazily mixed them together to the point that I had to finishing mixing it on my own. Her attitude was a little to bleh for me as well.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would give it a 0. A certain worker wasn’t paying attention to where she was cleaning and accidentally sprayed my leg. It wasn’t a direct hit but it was enough to upset me and almost ruin my ice cream (The spray almost got in that also…) After that the same person was sweeping aggressively and banging against the chairs next to us. Some time later the store just tells everybody that the store is closed and told us to leave. At least say it nicely or give us a 10 minute heads up. However they decided to close early that day and I do not appreciate that. Also this place apparently does not take stamps for ice cream so that bummed me out a bit. Either way though, this place does not appreciate customer business so my family and I will never come back here again.

My daughter and I used to come here on a regular! We love Marble Slab but through the years it’s gotten worse and worse! Here’s the straw that broke the camel’s back. We went into this place the last time and the lady serving us behind the counter picked her nose briefly and thought we didn’t notice and turned around to ask how she can help us. WITHOUT washing her hands. hell NO-​disgusting! We didn’t want to embarass her by pointing out the obvious. so we asked to be served by someone else. We probably should have just lefted. Who knows what else she contaminates in that place without using proper sanitation practices.
On top of that, if you don’t give them 3 days advance notice on a birthday cake (nothing extravagant either), they say «that’s not enough time for us» so I opted for another Marble Slab across town and they had no problems with my order there. Sorry to see it gone way downhill…

I was a fan of Marble Slab as I grew up with the store in Galveston. However I am lactose intolerant so I hadn’t been a while. When I arrived at the store on Hwy 6 I found the location closing up, however they weren’t suppose to close for another hour. I didn’t feel very welcome when I came to counter. When we settled on some choices we were given half melted ice cream with a sparse amount of our chosen mix in. Then I try my favorite part, the waffle cups we got were somewhat stale. The total for two small scoops of ice cream in two stale waffle cups was over $ 16. No thanks, not worth it even with the Groupon.
I was really excited to see this Groupon, I thought I would use one and gift the others but after this experience I will never visit again. Especially not this location.

Yummy in my tummy! GOSH, I love the texture of marble slab’s ice cream! It’s frozen at the perfect temperature so that it isn’t served too hard or melted.
They also had really cute little ice cream cupcakes in the freezer. Maybe one day…
Double chocolate and pecans mixed in = a very happy little girl.
I wish they had some «sinless» options though… but I was still very satisfied.

This is one of my favorite places… As are all great ice cream places! I’m always greeted with a smiles, as many samples as I’d like and never long waits. Despite the absence of the scoop cards, I’ll always come back!
