We come here all the time! Most reviews complain about the ice cream being soupy but that hasn’t been a problem for me. Another complaint is the price, again it doesn’t apply to me– probably because all I can ever manage to eat is the kids size. The cookie dough drizzle is the best flavor combo ever. It is birthday cake, cookie dough, Oreos, and hot fudge.

Went to this location to redeem a groupon they have available for purchase. Upon arriving they were very attentive and assisted us promptly until I showed them my phone for the groupon. He then proceeded to take my phone, which I’m sure was to redeem the groupon, and fulfill our last small ice cream. Once it came to the additional toppings he made it very clear that it was to only be one topping, versus the unlimited toppings they have in store. I asked him if it was in the fine print of the groupon, to which he said yes. I purposely looked at the groupon and nowhere does it state that there are any limitations or exceptions. It was just a little frustrating as he did this to my younger sibling. Just want to warn anyone that may purchase the groupon for this location, and that is was rather dirty.

I do not normally find myself coming to this Marble Slab as I do not live in this area. That being said, this is not the Marble Slab of choice for me. The service and store, themselves, I found to be okay(a.k.a. clean in appearance and no one rude), but as another reviewer mentioned their ice cream seems to be in a «constant state of runniness.»(I’ll admit, I did laugh at that.) When I received my ice cream, I was a little disappointed by the presentation and looks the ice cream had. The extremely soft, soupy consistency of the ice cream put me off slightly. Getting over this fact, the ice cream itself tasted fine and was distinctly Marble Slab. Also, when did ice cream become so expensive? I paid a total of $ 7.20 for my scoop of ice cream in a waffle bowl. Perhaps I am living in the memories of years gone by, but I was more than a little surprised by it. Admittedly, the portions here are rather large, but had I known how much it was going to cost, I might have forgone this treat.

Their corporate website only allows you to order a personalized cake 3 days prior, but if you call this location directly, they can fulfill your order even the morning of the event. Ask for Abdul.

I love coming to this place. They always have good groupons and have good quick service. They aren’t that personable but friendly. Besides you’re getting really good ice cream for really great price!

I was extremely disappointed with both the ice cream and service at this location. I came at 9:50pm on Sunday, September 14, 2014. I realize it was 10 minutes before closing, but it’s a dessert place, so they should expect customers right until closing. I got the sweet cream and mint mix, which tasted yummy in the sample but ended up being all sweet cream when he scooped it. I asked for mint patties as a mix in. Instead of telling me they had already washed the slab, he peeled two mint chocolates with his bare hands and stuck them whole on top of my ice cream. If I were informed about the slab, I probably would’ve ordered an already crushed mix in or nothing at all. I realize people want to get home, but if a place says it’s open until 10, I expect it to be open and functioning until closing time. As soon as we walked out, at 9:56pm, they immediately came and locked the door. Next time, I’ll take my business to Baskin Robbins!

Ice cream was okay and I liked the mix in idea of how they actually mix it in the ice cream(this was my first marble slab experience). However I did have to keep asking for more of toppings ie they would only put one Reese cup so I had to ask for more. Also some flavors tasted freezer burnt so make sure you get a sample first. My biggest complaint like the other reviewers is that the service was terrible. Tried to up charge us for mix ins just because we used a coupon when the sign clearly says unlimited mix ins. Nice try, I hate when people try to get over just because we used a coupon that your store provided, and don’t say unlimited and be skimp with toppings literally only giving one piece for a whole cup of ice cream. I might have returned without a coupon if the service wasn’t so rude. There are plenty of other ice cream places out there.

My husband and I used to come here often and most times this location was all right. Yes, they were usually out of several flavors and it took Forever because the employees were slow or only 1 person was up front… It seems, however, there have been new managers in this location and it went from all right to BAD. The employees did not know the basic menu(I needed to read off the toppings of one of their«recommended combinations»), they were out of chocolate yogurt and the vanilla was SOUR, and the employees were wearing jeans and tucked in shirts. Only one person there knew how to work the register. I would go anywhere but here now… Too bad because the location was good.

No. Just don’t. Because I live 3 blocks away, I’ve been to this Marble Slab location multiple times. The last time I regretfully visited here was a week ago(I even purposely waited a week to write a Unilocal review to ensure I wasn’t fuming in the heat of the moment). Every single time here has been such a huge disappointment and I’ve left angry EVERYSINGLETIME– using a Groupon or not. And seriously, that speaks volumes considering no one ever leaves angry after getting ice cream. The people who run this place are terrible with even worse customer service and give even worse ice cream. This is a franchise; how does this even happen?! — The ice cream has frozen ice chunks in them from freezer burn. The toppings are stale. — There is usually only 1 worker behind the counter with a possibility of another worker hanging out on a phone in the back. When the place is deserted, it’ll take 10 minutes to take your order even though he sees you, but because the single worker is on his phone. If not, there’s 1 worker taking care of 8 elementary school children’s families getting ice cream. No. It just doesn’t work. — They’re always out of the 4 – 5 most popular ice cream flavors, i.e. cake batter, red velvet, strawberry, cookie dough. Seriously? — The workers/owners are just plain rude. They took the order of a woman behind me and completely dismissed me once. There’s an obvious language barrier on their behalf and they walk off when they don’t understand me. — They have constant Groupon coupons and discounts on punch cards, half off discounts, specials on cakes, etc. This is because of their obvious need for customers because they suck so bad. I love ice cream and am willing to put up with sooo much for it, but even if this Marble Slab location was giving out free cakes and pints of ice cream, I wouldn’t even take it, and neither should you. The ice cream is probably old and icicled and you’ll want to punch yourself repeatedly after walking out for ever coming to this location in the first place.

My guilty treats… LOVE. If you tasted of coffee, with health bar, chocolate sprinkles, carmel in a waffle cone… However tables and floors are always filthy.

What the heck? Their ice cream is in a constant state of runniness. Came here once before and left without buying anything and the problem wasnt resolved months later. They must be trying to save money by not keeping the freezers cold enough. Had a groupon and the cashier didn’t tell us the total so we didn’t even get to use the full amount.

Came here on a whim after lunch and ordered a cup of coconut ice cream. The kid there could not have looked any more bored, but at least the owner was friendly. However, the ice cream itself had a gooey, doughy consistency, meaning it was either made incorrectly to begin with or quite possibly well past expiration. The coconut wasn’t even on display, so the owner went to the back to retrieve the bin of ice cream. I was hoping that perhaps this meant that it was freshly made, but alas, this was most certainly not the case. Sorry, but if you mess up ice cream that badly, then I will not be back.

I usually love Marble Slab, but I do not recommend this location! I bought two quarts of ice creams, one in caramel, one in mint. Both of them have a chalky texture, meaning either the ice cream is past expiration, or they over churned it while making it. Plus, the staff have a very aloof, almost discourteous attitude. I will definitely not go back.

We were in need of an ice cream cake for a work party we were having today. My coworker called the store this morning to ask them some questions but they weren’t open. Later, at 9am, she received a call from the store saying«I missed a call from this number, how may I help you?» She was able to inquire about their cakes. The man on the phone was very helpful. When we arrived, the manager/owner(I believe that’s who it was) was there and showed us the ice cream cakes. We unfortunately were on a budget, and couldn’t afford what we needed to feed the amount of people we expected. He was so helpful and made a deal with us that we could afford. He was so kind and considerate. We’ll definitely be back to give him more business and we think you should support his shop too!

It’s a wanna-be Cold Stone Creamery, unfortunately without as many options. The two times I’ve been here, I’ve had one too many drinks before… it seems that an «under-the-influence» me loves ice cream, no matter how so-so it is.

Marble Slab is not new to me, but this location has much room for improvement. I took my husband out for his birthday and we were going to end it with some ice cream before we went home. First, forget about friendliness. You are intruding on the employees time, and they will make sure you know it. I was excited about getting some cinnamon ice cream, but these guys made sure to be rude and ruin my excitement. My husband had the sweet cream and M&M’s, which he said was good. I got cinnamon ice cream with granola mix in, which I thought would be a safe mix in. The granola was stale and had an orang-y taste to it. THEBIGBEEF: The total for our 2 ice cream cups was $ 9.34. Due to the unfriendly-ness of our experience, I did not leave a tip and made sure to write in the final total as such. Lo and behold, when I woke up this morning, there was a charge for $ 11.20 on my bank statement from Marble Slab. I don’t mean to be cheap over a near $ 2 difference, but what the hell? Not cool.

Oldie but a Goodie. With all these new dessert places opening up sometimes I just like going to Marble slab for simple ice cream with mix-ins. Instead of wasting my money on something«new» I can come back to a classic. My favorite is the Caramel Peanut Butter Crisp which is Sweet Cream with Crushed Butterfinger, Chocolate Chips & Caramel. DAMN that’s good!
