Hands down the worst McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had. They took forever to take my order and even longer to make it. On top of that I asked an employee behind the counter for my coffee since it wasn’t there when they finally called my number; she said she couldn’t get it because she worked the drive-thru and that I’d have to wait for the only cashier working the counter to grab it for me.

Am I really reviewing another McDonald’s? Well this location is on the very popular strip of Ella with all of the fast food joints. They usually are a decent option if you’re just looking something quick and fast to eat. Nothing that is going to blow you away.

Kids play area is clean that’s a good thing. The bad thing is there is no parking available. Also hard to access unless your headed southbound on Ella boulevard. The food was hot and the girl behind the counter was friendly enough. Hard to give the place more than a two due to the problems parking.

Who can go wrong with Mikki D’s? Sandwich was delicious, food was warm, fresh, and ready to be eaten by the time I got to my location. This Mc Donalds, is always so courteous, and speedient. Not to mention they have double drive thru lines, which are always available, for quickness and the owner and staff is so nice. Location is in an area of competition, for there are so many fast food restaurants on this street, however McDonald’s is an original, and very delicious. Parking is great, you will love them!

No one answered the intercom, soooooo SLOWWWWWW! Had to drive to the window where no one even opened until I literally called the store and the manager picked up and I told her I was waiting to place my order in the 2nd window… Took me 25 minutes(really) to go thru the drive-thru… They need to train there employees better and Fasterrr!!! And they wonder why they have«rude» cumstomers!

Oh my God! I have never ever had bad McDs fries! These actually smell bad. Very bad. How? What’s wrong with the oil? I swear it smells like someone may have urinated in the oil?! Crazy people and things are real and happen every day! So I called the manager to let him/her know that something is wrong with that oil. First the dumb little girl who answered the phone wanted to play games, pretending to be the manager. Ugh. Don’t waste my time, I have to get back to work myself! Then the manager came on and assumed I wanted to replace my order. Nope. Don’t want it. Lost appetite. Back to work. Not coming back. Just please please check your oil! Your fries have a bad odor to them! He denied, defended and mocked me. Really?! And, too, no napkins no straw in the bag. Ridiculous!

This McDonald’s is so laid back. Everytime no matter what time. It’s always clean and the customers dining in are always more on the quiet side. The play area is smaller than others I have been to but this one is much more cleaner. Never a bad experience and customer service is always on point. I won’t say anything about the food cause everybody knows McDonald’s. I have a McDonald’s like 5 min from my house but I’ll take the 15 min drive for this location.

I go to this location for lunch usually. I go between 11a-1p(massive lunch rush). The line is normally out of the parking lot. The line moves fairly quickly. My fries are 4 out of 5 times hot and fresh from the fryer. They also remember my small requests(extra sauce, add pickles, etc). Not my favorite Mc. D’s location but not the worst either.

Longest drive thru. This is the worst I have ever experienced. Do not recommend this McDonald’s. 22 min to get through.

Sooo I was in a rush and stopped here before work. I ordered a sausage mcgriddle with egg whites and ended up with a nasty, dry sausage biscuit with cheese. It was in a huge, crumpled bag so the thought crossed my mind that it was returned by somebody… maybe? The parking lot is impossible to get through with people driving the wrong way so I didn’t bother driving back. Anyway, super annoying when you’re on a schedule. Good thing I left some bananas on my desk because I can’t eat this. Oh and the other two times I stopped in for coffee the machine was broken. They charge almost as much as Starbucks for a latte that tastes like it was made from a powdered mix and the machine is always down… seriously.

The drive thru was very slow and the staff was rude. Seriously, who has to wait for almost 15 minutes in the drive thru for two meals? Even as the attendant opened the window to tell us to pull forward she was yelling at her coworkers. Not impressed.

This review is based on the poor service I received in the drive thru last night. I have nothing to say about the food because it’s McDonald’s… I had a horrible headache and a long drive back from The Woodlands so I just decided to swing through the drive thru to grab some food hoping it would help my headache. There were two cars in front of me when I pulled into the line. One car was at the pick up window, the other was at the intercom to order. It didn’t take long for the car in front of me to order. When it was my turn, I literally sat there for 3 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. Usually if the employees are slow, they will at least say hello and then ask for a moment to help other customers. I was about to yell into the intercom to make sure they were in fact open. People were pulling up behind me and I was losing my patience. Finally some lady came on the intercom and said«What can I get you?» As if they were the ones waiting on me to decide. I could hear a lot of noise in the background(sounded chaotic). I asked for a grilled chicken wrap. She responded with«We don’t have grilled meat, wait yeah ok grilled what else?» Then I asked for Sprite. «We’re out of Sprite.» Ok please give me unsweet ice tea. «OK Sweet tea.» At that point, my headache was so bad I didn’t even try to ask for the frickin unsweet tea. Then she told me to drive forward without telling me a total. As I’m waiting to pay and get my food, I see at least two cars leave the drive thru line because they’re fed up with the poor service. When I got to the window, the lady even made a comment about it «Ooooh look at all those cars leaving.» I’m sorry, but if you are aware that you are losing customers, maybe you should step it up a little bit and get your shit together so you don’t lose customers. She couldn’t have cared less. It was pathetic. Luckily I don’t live in that area, so I’m hoping to never have to experience such slow, horrible service in a drive thru. This was by far, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.

Well I try and try and for 18 years this place has consistantly been the same every time — by far one of the worst stores I have ever been too. The chocolate shake machine never seems to be working, slooooooooow service; even with the new revamped store, and I am sorry but why do I have to be asked or spoken too in spanish first before spoken too in english. Its a shame that I have a store 1.5 miles from my house but drive to the Yale St/20th St(3.3 mi) McDs to get the order, service and chocolate shake(24⁄7).

They recently gave this location a renovation and updated it. It looks really nice and now has an indoor play area for the kiddos. It’s super clean inside(at least when I went) though we actually had to ask someone where the trashcan was since it was hidden around a corner. Ketchup dispenser was broken and they gave me sweet and sour sauce instead of sweet chili like I asked. Now, I usually don’t review fast food since it’s pretty much the same no matter where you go, but this is the location closest to my house, and I can honestly say I rarely ever go because of one thing… they are SLOOWWWWWW! In the drive through, expect to wait around 10+ minutes. I even had two people behind me decide to leave after they had ordered, and I wasn’t the one holding up the line! I ordered a Spicy McChicken and nuggets. I even considered if going inside would have been faster. Bottom line: this isn’t the place to go if you want«fast.»

This location is about average as far as McDonald’s goes. Their playground tends to be closed often, due to broken equipment(or most recently, broken doors leading to the playground), so if you’re planning on taking a group of young children you might want to check ahead of time to make sure the playground is available. I do like the fact that it’s one of the few in the area that still have an outdoor playground, but the lack of cover for outdoor tables makes eating outdoors rather unpleasant. All in all, it’s okay, and the convenient location in the neighborhood makes it a regular stop. Unfortunately, some of the employees are more interested in chatting with one another than serving customers, and if you have a group of people paying separately but eating together there is an annoying tendency to refuse to take your orders at the same time — meaning the first person’s food is cold by the time the last person is served. Edit: I ate at Spicy McChicken Sandwich from the Value Menu around 8pm on 5÷17÷09 and within hours was doubled over with food poisoning. I can’t say that it came from the sandwich, or course, but I can provide this information and let others draw their own logical conclusions.
