McDonald’s

I’m convinced they slaughter the cows RIGHT in the back of the building because it doesn’t make any sense to why it takes forever and a day to get a small order. I mean it does taste good when I do get it but that’s about it. Unlike everyone else I haven’t had the pleasure of being hit up for money by your neighborhood friendly homeless people. Then again idk maybe my RBF gives them the hint.

This is the most outrageous McDonalds I have ever had the displeasure of waiting for. I have been in line for the driver through for 45 minutes now with a total of 3 cars in the que… I am well aware of my order. It should take a total of 3 minutes.

This place is dangerous. If you can get through the throng of bums that pester you for money outside and inside you better get your meal to go or you’ll have people coming up to you every two minutes trying to sell you a sad sob story about why they need money. They have a rent a cop in there but half the time that doesn’t help. Do not go there alone at night unless you have protection.

Well the customer service is decent for the amount of people that are in the store and drive thru ordering, they are pretty outgoing. Sometimes food is good others it’s eh. 2 stars because like other say, the location is horrible, to many bums inside and out the store on a regular basis, all day, everyday. It’s hard to enjoy a meal inside the store when someone comes up to you and ask for a meal or a few bucks, also the place is not cleaned regularly so you have to sit in scum. I think they have a security guard, btw he does a horrible job, I don’t know what his role is there.
TL;DR: It’s a good place for a quick meal because sometimes the food is nice and steamy, not a good place to kick it with friends or hang out for a while.

Avoid like the plague!
Not only is this just one of the worst McDonalds in the city, which is saying something, the location is terrible. It’s right across the street from the infamous greyhound station. This attracts the most undesirable of people to be continually around the place. I’ve been 3 times (crazy, I know) and all three times i’ve been harassed by vagrants both inside and outside of the place. Not worth it for a cheap 1 dollar meal. Go else where!

This McDonalds is Slow, Getting orders Wrong, got HUSTLERS Outside asking for $, SCARY Location! AVOID This location and go to the One on Westhiemer 1302 Westhiemer which you’ll get your food faster and better service! I’ll boycott THIS McDonalds!

If there was a 0 rating I would give it. Idk how this McDonald’s is in business. The shit ass employees don’t care about this place or serving food. Do not come here

Ive litteraly been in the drive thru waiting at the order box for 15 min and been in line for 20… what the hell is going on this is unacceptable service… and people all over the parking lot doing what ever… you really need tk speed up the service here

Normal McDonald’s except for they are slow as shit. Took over 30 minutes to get through the drive thru when there were only 2 cars in front of me. Guy on the speaker was laughing and cutting up with a coworker and I had to repeat my order 2 or 3 times.

This is one of the worst places on earth. Do not support this McDonalds. It is destroying the urban fabric of this neighborhood.
In fact, you should join the boycott movement to shut this place down on Facebook.

Butttt, the other customers can be SCARY AF. I got followed to my car to ask for money. Actually he wasn’t even a customer, just someone that lingered in there. At least he didn’t mean harm but. One shouldn’t really go there if they easily get heart attacks like myself…

This mcdonalds whips up exceptional food at an unmatchable rate of speed. The fries are always hot and tasty and the burgers come out just fine. The only real knock on this restaurant is the area around it. Bums are always lingering around the mcdonalds and camping inside. The restaurant does nothing to kick these people out and nobody wants to go into the restaurant for this reason. The drive thru is constantly 7 cars long because of this and its bad for the restaurant and the customers. The food remains appetizing considering this restaurant is booming from 11am-​2pm. Good place for a quick meal… If the drive thru isnt so long

Horrible… it took 53min to get our order… I wish something else had been open. Never going back to that location.

Came here a couple times and people aren’t lying when they say that it is completely ghetto. I was even approached by a crazy homeless lady wearing no pants mumbling about how she didn’t «want my dimes and pennies». Like, wtf? That was the last time I went here and will remain the last time.

Slick modern McDonalds interior. LED lighting, dual pane glass, large scale dark gray porcelain tile floor. Major use of colorful what used to be called «super graphics». Architecture wise this is their top format. Again, asked to refill my tea with out asking. Pleasant staff. Armed guard means I’m safer than at my local bank. My second visit see my previous review for my first impression.

This is the lion’s den. It is near the bus stop so you always kind of think «Am I going to see a newly released convict that the TDCJ just put on a bus as I eat my french fries?» The answer is likely yes as this is probably the most intimidating McDonalds in the world to eat at based on what your fellow customers look like, and if you unfortunately eavesdrop, then the subject matter of most of their conversations should also put the fear of the flying spaghetti monster into you.
Inside it is dirty — but it is McDonalds, so of course, you just shrug your shoulders. The bathrooms are one notch above public high school restrooms, so I guess they have Y list janitors and not Z list janitors.
In my mind the workers ask you at the register «What the **** do you want?» because that is really how it comes across, no matter how early in the morning or during peak lunch hour later in the day you drop by.
The food is average for a McDonalds. Not noteworthy in any way, so at least they are consistent.

Ok, so I found myself reviewing the second worst McDonald’s in Houston and I just can’t pass up the opportunity to say a few words about the absolute worst one.
This McDonald’s makes me feel like a rubber-​necker at a terrible car accident. I don’t wanna look, but its just so horrific that I can’t help it. «Officer, could you bring the body over here? We can’t get a good look.»
You already know any McDonald’s in the middle of a rough downtown area and next to a 24 hr bus station is gonna be bad. But this one is beyond the pale. I was in the Army for years, much of it stationed in the Third World, so I’ve been in some hair-​raising places, believe me (I was in Beirut in the 80s). However, this McDonald’s makes my list of «100 places no sane person should ever go.» Before I knew better, I was here a few times. I’ve seen aggravated assaults in the dining area, ongoing drug deals in the parking lot, active prostitution in the bathrooms. I even saw a car in the drive-​thru lane get shot up. Every wandering mental patient in Houston is drawn to this McDonald’s, like a moths to a flame. Can you imagine this place about 2 o’clock in the morning!?! Need I go on?
I’d say take a gun if you go here, but just don’t go here… EVER! Or at least put me in your will first.

I, like the other reviewers, can’t believe I’m reviewing McDonald’s. This is no ordinary McDonald’s however. This is one ghetto ass McDonald’s. Forget the food. You’re lucky if you survive. This is the only place my entire life where my car was cut in line IN THE DRIVE-​THRU. The drive-​thru! Who does that? Ghetto.
Unless you’re looking to perform some sort of documentary on McDonald’s next to Greyhound stations, don’t go here.

Shame on me for writing a review on McD’s. But I can’t help it. I gave it up for lent … and with all of these Filet O Fish commercials, I can’t stop thinking about it!
But his particular McDonald’s stands out from the rest. My gf and I dub it as «the most dangerous McDonald’s in the city» (second to the other one that was further down Main and torn down years ago). It’s along the MetroRail and right across from the ’round-​the-​clock Metro bus station; and there’s a constant influx of loiterers. But that never stops me from coming here. Er, I don’t actually ever get out of my car though (hello, drive-​thru).
I’ve never had bad fries, service is great and they aren’t stingy with the ketchup. I’m Lovin’ It.
