I went to the new location in the Conservatory downtown and I loved it. I had the parmesan chicken crêpe and it was excellent. I also love the strawberry drink they had. My daughter had the blueberry crêpe and she loved it.

If you want a late night crêpe fix, this is definitely the place to get it. I went 4/20/16…twice. I know… best idea ever. I visited the HEB Montrose location for a strawberry Nutella crêpe and the guy threw in some pecans… it was AHmazing! Best part was no long line(usually at the farmers market Sean’s line is at least 30 minutes.) YAaY! Then I went for some HOTYOGA… Post yoga: Went to the main location: The Conservatory is a cozy spot downtown where you’ll find this creperie in an underground tavern of some kind hat host multiple vendors. I got a mango crêpe of sorts and an egg/avo/cheese/siracha crêpe that was missing the chicken but no big deal –they ran out. It happens sometimes because they source their ingredients and often run out because they use EVERYTHING. Anyway, if you want an amazing authentic crêpe that wont leave you disappointed… MELANGE is the place to get it!

They have really weird open hours so make sure to check their facebook or twitter before going. The fillings are pretty generous. Price range is $ 5 to $ 8, much cheaper to compare to other crepes restaurants/café. It’s best to eat it right after because I bought them for togo and they lost all the crispness. However I feel like the Banana Nutella doesn’t taste much different at different places, even my homemade lol. But to consider the price, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try crepes in Houston rather than Sweet Paris or Coco. Would come back to try other savory crepes!

Best crepes in town. Sicilian tart crêpe was amazing. I’ve had crepes at the farmers market but had a chance to grab one at HEB today and it was awesome. Whether you’re craving a savory or sweet crêpe, these are the best and most authentic. Looking forward to checking out his brick and mortar store.

Love this place! Haven’t been in awhile so was shocked to see that it wasn’t in front of the katzy anymore because of new owners they were kicked out! But have no fear they have 2 new location one at the HEB in montrose and the second at the flea market where the original Ninfa’s is the flea market was amazing! Today they had mariachi band and the other food stands were amazing. Glad to see that my favorite crêpe place is still alive love the ham egg and cheese and the Nutella and bananas!!!

Love this place! They always have classics(egg ham and cheese, banana/strawberry Nutella) and awesome new flavors(saag paneer, strawberry pomelo custard). Their crêpe batter is one of my favorites; it’s the kind that gets golden brown and crispy on the outside but still soft in the middle as you bite into the crêpe itself. The only complaint I have is I wish the crepes were a tad big thicker(as in more filling) but it is DELICIOUS nonetheless. I’d highly recommend to everyone! AND they are in the HEB right by my place, which is awesome :)

Mélange Creperie never disappoints. Dominque(sp?) has been doing an incredible job holding down the fort at Montrose HEB(Sat-Th). He’s taking after Buffalo Sean in making crepes that taste incredibly balanced and juxtapose both a crunchy and soft texture. There’s no doubt that he’s refined his artistic craft of creating the perfect crêpe and at this point, I’ve just given up on trying to make them at home. Added bonus; he’s fun to talk to, right next to the beverage aisle, and you can pick up groceries if there’s a wait, so crepes at HEB are clearly a win-win-win-win situation. PS Sean – we miss you! Brick and mortar it up soon please!!!

The crêpe is an interesting vehicle for ingredients — if done well, it’s a light, airy alternative to bread; if not, then it becomes a chewy, gelatinous mush. Fortunately, Mélange Creperie does crepes justice. Each day has a different flavor, but from what I can tell the owner(who is an absolute hoot, by the way — he makes waiting in line actually bearable) will always maintain 1 sweet and 1 savory crêpe on the menu. Mélange sets up shop Downtown on Wednesdays in front of City Hall for the«farmer’s market,» so you’ll have to time getting to the tent right before the official open time, 11am, if you don’t want to wait terribly long.(If you’re looking at City Hall from the pond, Mélange is close to the front of the pond on your left) The day I went, I got there at about 10:55 and had crepes in my hand within 10 minutes — after all, there’s only 1 person making crepes for lots of people. I ordered a zucchini khoresh(Persian stew) with sausage and opted to add in an egg; for dessert(because sweet crepes are TOTALLY my jam), I got a banana Nutella crêpe with strawberries. There are some really interesting flavors going on with the khoresh, mostly because I’m unfamiliar with Persian cuisine, but I devoured it because everything meshed so well together — who knew that sausage and egg would go so well with Persian cuisine? The banana Nutella strawberry crêpe is tasty as well; it definitely gets a little messy, especially sitting on a park bench near the tent while everyone in line glares at you for eating what they want, but still worth it. Caveat: Mélange ain’t cheap. For 2 crepes, I paid $ 15 including a tip, and there’s also a surcharge for paying with a credit card. I do think 1.5 crepes is enough for 1 person, though; I was hurting a little after finishing my khoresh + dessert crêpe. If you’re willing to queue for a crêpe, then I definitely recommend trying out Mélange; however, if crepes aren’t your thing, then I would probably advise saving your time for something else.

Sean makes some badass crepes! You can tell he really goes the extra mile to get the freshest ingredients. He is also very entertaining while you wait so the time goes by quickly. We are looking forward to the new location that is in the works but will catch him at HEB or one of the farmers markets while that is cooking.

I’ve heard Mélange Creperie for so long and I’ve finally get to try it. I ordered the ham+ egg + light cheddar + tomato + habanero sauce. The crêpe was very crispy and thin at the edge which differentiate itself from Cocoa’s and Sweet Paris. It is how a authentic French Crêpe should be done. However, the combination just wasn’t right. First of all, I didn’t taste much egg from my crêpe. I think it was due to one egg got spread out and diluted. The ham was ok, there was nothing outstanding about it. The cheese was accumulated in the bottom part of the crêpe, so I didn’t eat any cheese until crêpe had 1⁄3 left. Then the crêpe was suddenly full of cheese! That made my egg and ham crêpe became a cheese only crêpe, the taste was so off that I gave up trying to finish it. My sliced tomato wasn’t heated enough so it was cold and it also made the crêpe kept dropping the juice, it was very very messy. I waited about 30 minutes and I was really expecting some mind blowing crepes. However all ingredients of my crêpe didn’t combine well, it was not up to all the high score reviews on Unilocal.I do appreciate buffalo sean kept everyone entertained and made the wait less miserable, he has great energy and was really trying his best to cook the crêpe as fast as possible while he was the only one taking orders, talking to customers, and collecting payments. I don’t think I will come back and wait for another 30 minutes to try any other crepes from here.

Shopping with the family and feeling hungry? Picking up on a warm aroma of thin, yet crispy, hot pancakes filled with savory and/or sweet fillings? Hearing the occasional«Heck yeah!» from Sean? Then you’ll know Mélange Creperie is nearby! I heard about the long lines here where Mélange Creperie is set up within the Montrose HEB, and since the HEB is literally minutes from my house, I thought why not come out and experience all the rave that’s been going on about this food stand? I came out on Sunday, around noon, and waited a good 30 – 45 minutes. Yeah, it’s a long wait, but WORTHIT. Sean has great energy and passion that is evident in his signature«Heck yeah!» comments and from the delicious crepes he churns out. My mom and I both ordered the baba ganoush(they ran out of ham, but they were willing to sub in baba ganoush for us), egg, cheddar cheese, and tomato crêpe, with the optional hot sauce added, each $ 7. The crepes are huge — I was feeling fat and happy after finishing my crêpe. Prices are reasonable, generally $ 5 – 7 for a crêpe. Too bad I’m currently going to college in another city, but whenever I come back home, I’ll definitely make a trip back! Thanks, Mélange Creperie, for setting the bar high with my first crêpe experience at your stand; I can attest to the raves about this place.

I’ve eaten here 3 times so I figure it’s time to make a review. I’ve only gone to his stand at the Montrose HEB and the average wait time is about 10 – 15 minutes; plenty of time to pick up groceries while you wait. Like others have mentioned, he manages to remember your order amongst a bunch of other customers. The price ranges $ 5 – 8 depending on the crêpe. There are usually 4 – 5 kinds of crepes to pick from and one of them is one with«international flavors» but I’ve been too wimpy to try one of those. I’ve gotten the nutella and banana, andouille sausage with egg and cheese, and tomato with egg and cheese. All of them have been consistently great! All of the ingredients taste very fresh. Great customer service, great crepes, great prices… can’t ask for more!

The stand used to be located on westhheimer but that restaurant closed and now they are in the Montrose H-E-B. The crêpe I ordered was Andouille and it was really good. At eight dollars I will definitely try it next time I go in for groceries.

The crepes are fantastic, but chatting with Buffalo Sean really makes the experience. His ability to remember about eight orders, make the crepes, and carry on conversations with customers and passersby is a show in itself. The menu mainstays are great in their own rights, but the special items have never failed to disappoint. If you like well-priced foods from a business owner you’ll feel good supporting, seek out Mélange!

His crepes were very fresh and tastes amazing. I had the peach with honey sour cream. It was very light which made it perfect for dessert. He was very nice and talkative. He has new hours at the HEB on W. Alabama. He said he’ll be there until next June! It wasn’t as busy it normally is at his stand hours.

They have the BEST crepes ever! We went to the east side farmers market and waited a good 20 minutes but it was well worth it. We got the baigan bharta(indian eggplant mix) and tomato crêpe and a banana and nutella crêpe. Both were amazing, I initiailly went for the nutella one but the eggplant one was the definite favorite.

I’ve been coming here since my daughter was 2 years old. He promptly takes your order and between you and maybe about 7 other customers, he actually remembers your order(and theirs too)! Such a character and fun to be around while you are waiting for your food. I’m sad to say I’ll miss the ambiance of the parking lot but I’m looking forward to bigger and better things for Mélange! P. S. The crepes are all good! I’ve never had one I didn’t like and I almost always go with the crêpe of the week. My daughter loves the Nutella with strawberries. Thanks Mélange!

I finally made it to this crêpe stand, luckily, on his last day at this location before he leaves for good. It was his last day before he starts making appearances at Farmer’s Markets and eventually opens his restaurant. Can’t wait for that. Coco’s, get ready for some major competition. Sean is a character and will keep you entertained while you wait for your order to be made. I tried his banana nutella and added strawberries($ 6). During the street festival, his business was busier than normal and I had to wait around 25 minutes for my order to come up. Since I rode my bike here, I took it home and it was still delicious, even after about 10 minutes of it being made. He indicated that he had been filmed by some TV show recently and the episode was airing sometime in April.

Oh my goodness. Why I haven’t found this fantastic gem is beyond me! Mélange creperie is a great food cart(Not food truck) stop along Montrose. When we arrived there was a bit of a line. Maybe 10 people in front of us. This required about a 30 min wait. Since he makes everything by hand and from scratch. We decided to wait and see. They only had a few crepes on the menu about 3. We ordered ham, egg, and cheese and a banana, nutella and strawberry crêpe. Man I’m glad we waited. The food was perfect savory egg and cheesy goodness. And the nutella crêpe was delicious as well. You can tell he really puts love and work in his food. We will be back.

I can’t believe I haven’t tried this stand sooner. The crepes made here are worth the wait(40 minutes to be exact). My crêpe consisted of roasted cauliflower, mixed greens, egg, hot sauce, and cheese. Lemme tell ya… I have craved this crêpe every weekend since! It’s THATGOOD. The roasted cauliflower is tender yet still has a crunch to it, the greens are so fibrous and fresh, the cheddar cheese is super«melty,» the cracked egg is like a thin fried egg, and the hot sauce is just the«icing» on top. YUM. I love how all the ingredients are so fresh, and I loved watching the cook make the crêpe right in front of my eyes! If you have the time, I’d highly recommend catching some rays and enjoy the beautiful city life of Houston, oh, and these awesome crepes!
