They have good cupcakes. I mean, it’s hard, in my opinion to find a horrible cupcake place. But they do have good cupcakes. Don’t remember what I got. It was like a vanilla cupcake that was really moist. I don’t remember the exact name. They have a lot to chose from though. Pretty cool spot.

This is my second time at this bakery and I’m still disappointed! I got the sour cream pound cake and in the first slice I got a bite full of egg shell :(it also was a tad dry! I won’t be going here again!

I am in search of a bakery near my home. I heard they made birthday cakes so I decided to try this place. Although the the pastries and cake«Look» so good, they are O.K. I purchased a few things from the display window to get a better taste of what the birthday cake will be like. They were dry and had a Grocery store(HEB& Kroger) taste. And I don’t like those cakes. Needless to say that was not good. I gave 2 stars b/c the place was clean and the cashier was very nice.

Stopped by with my sister when we were in the area earlier this week. It was only around 7 and they were busy closing up shop early, despite being advertised as open until 8. Looked through their pastry offerings which included cake pops, cupcakes, cookies, petit fours and some other things which slip my mind. Their macarons were TINY and were way overpriced. Decided on petit fours since it had been awhile since I’ve had them. BIGMISTAKE. Worst petit fours i’ve ever had. The icing literally tasted like diabetes. Too much powdered sugar. The actual petit four was just cake. no jam or filling in the middle. Definitely NOT an authentic petit four.

I ordered a custom birthday cake, with a picture to be printed on top. I emailed them the pic and called to confirm delivery and go over the order again. When I picked up the cake it had the wrong picture. I expected professional service but got a sad birthday girl… thanks memorial bakery!(I’m sure their competitors will be saying that too.)

Had some cake from here at a birthday party and it was so good we had to come and try it again. We were not disappointed. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. We had the yellow cake cupcake, German chocolate cupcake, green apple green tea and mango black tea. Everything was wonderful. It was hard making a decision everything looked so good. We will be back.

This place has amazing cake balls and did a beautiful job on a cake for my friend’s baby shower. It was beautiful and delicious. Everyone raved about it and the cake balls!

Love this place, free wifi and great customer service. They have a wide variety of drinks and even better sweets! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced bakery with big benefits!

Food first: The chocolate cupcake was dry and over baked. The icing was super dense it fell off of the cupcake and retained its disc shape after picking it up. The chocolate chip cookie was decent. Beverages: The plain latte was delicious. Hot but not burned milk with enough stand alone flavor. Their boba tea was terribly bland with very little tapioca. If you have never had milk tea before then I suppose this is a safe starter for those wary of too much foreign flavor but I was sadly underwhelmed. The service: Friendly, although several customers walked in and left without greeting because the kids were mixing flavors and eating behind the counter. We were lucky. Overall: If I were a teenager and had a friend behind the counter I could see it. Very casually dressed for handling food/drink(loose long hair, short shorts). Imagine the small coffee counter on campus run by student workers. That’s the vibe.

The service is always friendly and efficient. I usually just get their mango green tea with tapioca and I enjoy it. Nice place to study since there’s wifi and decent size tables. Compared to Starbucks this place isn’t overcrowded with loud teens so it’s nice to study with a small group of friends.

I really wanted to like this place as I haven’t found a go-to bakery within 15 minutes of where I live yet. Service was great, but the food and beverages need some improvement. I had a pecan square that tasted fine and a chocolate cupcake that tasted like box-mixed cake. The decoration was cute though. The shop was hot so I don’t recommend staying there to eat.

I’ve been here a few times and absolutely love their pecan squares! I get them every time. They taste just like pecan pie… Yum-o! I always pick out something new as well and their sugared & frosted cookies are really good, as well as their cupcakes. The staff is always nice and I love trying the variety of items they have.

I like this place, and frequent this strip center. They are locally owned and operated, and have a nice assortments of cupcakes and cookies. They also have really great breads, and homemade things like strawberry and banana nut bread. Coffees, lattees, and cakes galore. Their kolaches are also SUPERB! Great prices, great service, and quality product!

The place is nice and clean… was in the area, went to Marshall’s and Ross and saw this place, read the review on here, then went to give it a try, it was worth it… It was half an hour before they’re closing time, and they still have lots of goodies, that’s good… I tried the icing/iced cookies, it was good and not too sweet… I also tried the Hawaiian bread, it was good as well, they offered to heat up the bread, so I ate it warm, sooo good… it was a very good experience… I will definitely come back often…

Now if anybody get to know me. I do not like to throw shade at anybody trying to run a business. And you guys should visit this place and form your own personal opinion. When I got to Memorial Bakery my fat girl eyes lit up. I wanted EVERYTHING! The place was very clean and organized and the lady at the counter was very friendly. I’m sure u guys are going to get to know me. Because I’m going to start writing reviews on everything. You will see that I am huge on working out and not wasting calories on food that is not delicious. My best friend got the red velvet. I tasted it. Why did it taste like a sponge cake? I’ve had better red velvet cupcakes at Walmart! I didn’t try the Italian, but my best friend gave it to his grandmother. When my best friend gives away food its clearly not good, because my best friend is a fat ass(i can say that but you cant). And last the cheese cake balls. I thought that some kind of cream cheese would be inside. Girl Please. That whole thing was a mess. I feel like I just went and gave them 10 dollars. I could have given that to kids to go get ice cream or something… I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Now I’m hoping they do see this review and kinda change they’re recipes a little, because the set up and location is great… I’ll be watching.

Today I gave the tapioca drink another shot. I’m not saying that it was the best tap in the world, but one of the better places in Memorial. They have definitely improved on the flavor of the drink. Although the tapioca is still flavorless, it is soft. And my green milk tea actually tasted like green milk tea this time; not that gross powder that other tap places in memorial have started using. So, if you’re in the area, and craving tap, this place may be your best bet. I will definitely drop by this place more often. Tip: They definitely OD’d on the amount of ice they added to my drink, which made it difficult to sip up the tapioca, so be sure to ask for light ice!

They have moved up in the world from a small shop on Kingsride by Memorial City mall. They now occupy a nice big space of of the Katy Freeway near Marshall’s, DSW and Ross. I grew up eating cakes from here and their Black eyed Susan cookies.(a short bread with a thick fudgy dollop in the center) My mom and I were feeling nostalgic and decided to stop in for a few treats. We got our beloved Black eyed Susan’s, a few Sand Tarts and a cupcake. They were a little on the dry side, a tad bland and just not as great as I remembered. I really like that they have upgraded to smoothies and other items and that is a more teahouse/coffee shop vibe. I wasn’t too impressed, but in fairness it was right after a holiday. I will be willing to give them another shot.

This place is run by Asians, so there is a small section to the right of the door for Chinese baked goods in addition to your standard American cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. It’s no Olympic Bakery, but they have your essentials. I love bolo bao /pineapple bun, so I decided it’d be a worthy test. I read a previous review of moldy dinner rolls, so I made extra sure no green was to be found. The price was $ 1.25, so maybe $.25 higher than normal, but oh well. There were other pastries with the hot dog sausages inside, but I was never a big fan of them. I’d give it two stars, as the«pineapple» crust covered the entire top but was not very sweet. Also, the bread itself wasn’t super soft. I also ordered two cupcakes, figuring that was more popular and better tasting. The pumping spice was good, as there was not too much frosting to overpower the cupcake. My second was the white chocolate, as actually the only white chocolate were the sprinkles, as the rest of the top was just cake frosting and way too sweet. The vanilla cake was also somewhat lackluster. They have several other flavors, but since I didn’t want to develop Type II, I didn’t get a chance to sample the others. Price was a good deal at $ 2.75 a pop, so you won’t go bankrupt like other cupcake boutiques. You can also get coffee, tea, boba to take a break from your shopping adventures. There are tables and chairs, so definitely good to rest your feet.
