Jackson is an extremely nice teacher. I’ve always enjoyed training with him. Very welcoming and kind. Great with children.

I’ve been interested in BJJ for a while so finally decided to go for a free 1hr workout. Instructor Jackson was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable and we dived right into rolling some basic moves. I will be signing up soon. If on the fence just give attend a free workout.

Since the first day that I started training in Summer of 2011, nobody has ever motivated or inspired me to train Jiu-​Jitsu the way Professor Jackson Fortunato has. Being the overweight fat kid growing up, I was never particularly an advocate of playing sports because I’ve never been any good at them. I was never ever confident in any of my physical abilities simply because I was never the strongest and I was always the slowest whenever any sort of physical obstacle presented itself. All of that changed the day that I met Professor Jackson Fortunato. What everyone else saw was an overweight young adult (only 21 years old at the time weighing 335lbs), Professor Jackson saw the potential to mold that kid into a confident technique driven Jiu-​Jitsu artist. He was the only person that inspired me to stick with the life changing art of Jiu-​Jitsu because he saw the courage in a emotionally frustrated kid with physical incapability. He taught me that I could defend myself in literally any situation that may present itself to me through demonstration and repetition. In a years time, Professor Jackson Fortunato changed my life completely and turned me into a humble, confident, and technique hungry Jiu-​Jitsu machine. I still can’t thank him enough for being the best mentor, teacher, and friend that young man like myself could ask for. He has molded me into the man I am today in ways that I could have never foreseen before I started training Jiu-​Jitsu with him. His style of Jiu-​Jitsu is the exact definition of self defense.

Smiles as soon as you walk through the doors! Professor Jackson Fortunato is amazing! He teaches you everything you need to feel safe. I recommend this school if you want to train REAL self-​defense Brazilian jiu-​jitsu!

Mister Jackson is a phenomenal teacher of Brazilian Jiu Juitsu. He is a true practitioner of the art and philosophies the makes BJJ great. He lives what he teaches. He has taught my children for 2 years and instilled in them even more confidence and the skills to stand up to bullies and defend other children. My kids teach other kids and have emerged as leaders in their peer groups. I would recommend, wholeheartedly, Mr Jackson as an instructor, mentor and example!
