Best Burger Joint in Houston!!! Bar None! Get the clucker(turkey with bacon) or Double Bacon. Nothing healthy about any sandwiches or burgers in this place but you will keep coming back. Family Run and Owned. They had many locations and now they are down to three or four. All of them are run by the original owners many daughters and are very nice to their patrons. I love it here!

Good burger, horrible fries!(but, if you like your fries hard and crispy, then you’d probably like it, no seasoning at all.) The burger was average, nothing special… good hardy helping of bacon and didn’t take long for the food to get to our table. In terms of atmosphere, it’s very old and the floor was dirty. I’d use the restroom before you got there. If you live in the area, it’s a nice place to stop for a quick bite, but not if you’re driving more than 10 minuets.(We drove from Katy based on word of mouth.)

Miller’s reason for being is their hamburgers, although they also serve hot sandwiches and other similar burger grill items. The burgers are delicious! Everything in the burger is freshly cut, cooked and prepared when you order. The prices are about right for your typical gourmet hamburger establishment(ala Smashburger, Standard Burger, Five Guys, et al), but with more of a Texas bar and grill environment. I only have two complaints. One, for a place that can pride itself on fresh food and fresh ingredients, the fries are just regular store-bought frozen fries. WHY? Second, everything comes on a poppy seed bun. That looks good in pictures, but in reality the poppy seeds get all over your hands, face, table, clothes AND they add ZERO to the taste. So my advice. dump the poppy seeds, make your own fries and maybe come up with a combo-meal concept and Miller’s is a best burger place in the Oak Forest area.

I’ve worked in the area for several Years now. You can run to those other burger joints but once you eat one from Millers they won’t compare… The atmosphere and cooking assembly is all you need to enjoy a bomb ass burger. #chubbyboysparadise

That bacon cheese burger I just ate from Miller’s gave me life … it was soooooooooo delicious … #perfect … My friend had chilli cheese fries w/onions and she said they were awesome… I would have given Miller’s 5 Stars but the lady at the register was a bit dry and rude and my friend thought that her fries could have used a bit more cheese … overall pretty darn good

I know this review is long overdue, but here goes. I love the burgers they serve at Miller’s Café. They’re big, they’re tasty, they’re juicy, they’re awesome. However, I HATE going to Miller’s Café. Especially during lunch. Why? Because cell signal sucks, they don’t have WiFi, and if you show up smack in the middle of lunch time, you can expect to wait 30 – 40 minutes before you get your order. UNLESS you decide that you’re going to call it in and wait 30 minutes before leaving for Miller’s. So, if you only have an hour for lunch. Take the time it takes to get to Miller’s and to get back to work; and then you add another 30 – 40 minutes of wait time, and then you add the time it takes you to eat your meal. Will your one hour cover it? I personally don’t like being rushed when I eat my lunch. It’s my time to relax, dude. If you’re going to eat here, bring a friend or a magazine. I usually like to go online when I eat my lunch to catch up on news and sports and stuff. But since the cell signal here is pretty much nonexistent and they don’t offer WiFi. Good luck with that. You’re just going to be eating alone, looking out the window being depressed about how you’re so lonely you can’t even find a lunch buddy — forever alone. On the serious side, though. Their burgers are pretty legit. They’re good sized and plenty juicy. Although I’m not a big fan of the sesame buns since the sesame seeds make quite a mess on my work desk, but the burgers are legit. I normally go with my regular bacon cheeseburger, but every once in a while when I get really hungry, I’d get the double bacon cheeseburger. Now THAT’S a real lunch. If you still have some room, you can get yourself some Frito Pie, which isn’t too shabby either. I definitely enjoyed it. Their fries, however, is nothing to brag about. Just your typical fries. Meh. Now, if they can get the orders much quicker than they do now, and if they would provide some free WiFi for the customers, they would definitely deserve a higher rating. But until that happens, the super long wait and dead zone kind of make this place just okay for me.

Hadn’t been here in a really long time, but dropped by for lunch the other day. Was in the mood for a really good burger. Kinda had to prompt the dude working the register. Don’t get me wrong, he wasn’t rude or ignoring me, but just seemed like he wasn’t that interested in offering up service. He looked young as heck, so I just chalked it up to that. Went for the jalapeño burger w/all the trimmings & onion rings. Grabbed a stool at the bar facing the prep area. Always liked this about Miller’s. In his aloofness, I think the guy put in fries as my order, but as soon as I looked at him, he did the Homer«doh!» move & dropped me some rings. My burger was huicy, veggies crunchy, good slapping of mayo & mustard on the toasted seeded bun. It only took a couple bites before my onion rings came up. Which they were good, as were a couple of the fries I tasted. But not as good as I recalled these burgers used to be. Overall still a really good place to grab a fresh, no bells & whistles classic burger.

Arguably the best burger in the Heights. I had the blue cheese burger with bacon and it is out of this world. At lunchtime during the week the place can get busy, but overall worth the wait. Don’t be put off by the barroom décor, or the fact that it is in a strip mall. It is absolutely worth it. The price is reasonable, and the burgers are divine. Don’t come if you are looking for a low calorie meal. Great food is rarely healthy.
