I have never been a big fan of Murphy’s Deli. I find the ingredients quality to be below what I want for the price I am paying, and the quality of food prep and customer service time to be sub-par. I have been to several locations, in downtown and the galleria area, and I have found that they are all relatively slow. Worse than speed however, and what makes me the most annoyed, it the willingness to sell a product that is not prepared correctly. If you burn a wrap in the salamander — if it is black and crispy to the point where you have to double take, look to see if the customer is looking, and then turn around so they can’t see what it looks like before you wrap it up in paper — then you should not be serving it. Luckly — not my sandwich… That’s all I have to say about that.

I work in this building so I eat here pretty often. My favorite sandwich so far is probably the muffaletta. The olive spread is so delicious. It’s great on the Greek salad too. The owner is always friendly, the sandwiches are fresh and toasty. They also sell some sides like hummus, black bean salad, and potato salad. I have taken advantage of the beverage, granola bar, and candy selection a time or two as well, glad to have that convenience being a tenant of this building.

Good enough, nothing fancy. Inside office building, the building doors are close on sundays. Someone from the rest wilk need to open door, you may have to knock on the window. Paninni was good $ 8. Only one bathroom which looks like the inside if a closet.

I had previously noticed that this place didn’t have many patrons during the lunch hour and since I was really busy at work, I needed to grab a lunch quick and head back. After eating my sandwich, I realized why this place doesn’t get much business. The vegetables and bread did not seem very fresh. That in its self is reason not to ever go back. The floor felt sticky and there were flies flying around. I may give this place another opportunity in the future since Ive only had one experience, but I seriously doubt my experience will improve.
