Subroc

I work in this building and we have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this new lunch spot. When the days get busy it’s nice to be able to run down and grab something quick.
Today is their first day in business. The staff is super friendly and helpful even though it is their first day and they are learning as they go. Today I tried a breakfast taco with sausage, potato, egg, and cheese. I thought the breakfast taco was a ⁵⁄₁₀. It was a standard store bought tortilla (as expected, as they are a deli), patty sausage cut in half, seemed to be homemade potatoes a bit on the mushy side, and the cheese was sliced cheese cut up.
For lunch I came back and had the chicken salad sandwich on regular bread. It was delicious. Chicken salad is always one of my go-​tos and this version had a unique addition of green onions and bell peppers. I am sure I will order this many times in the future.
There is also a mini Starbucks counter which I know many in the building are excited about. I will enjoy getting a fancy latte every once in a while.
One of my co-​workers has already mentioned he’s not a fan of the fact that they don’t have fountain beverages, only bottled. I could see how many people might agree with him. Another small complaint is the lack showing a combo option on the menu. I would like to see some signage of «add chips and a drink for $$» so I can know what I’m getting into.
Looking forward to trying more menu items and seeing how the place works through their kinks! Update review to come soon, as it’s only their first day!
