Back in 2013, this store gave great customer service. Not any more. I have a Dirt Devil that I bought a series of service appointments for(3). Two African-American gentlemen used to run this store and they were friendly, professional and most of all helpful. They helped me with my initial tune-up, cleaned up my machine, dusted it out, etc. plus they called me when my machine was ready. The men who run this place now are surface friendly but not helpful and are lacking in basic customer service etiquette. I dropped off my machine for the second tune up(I bought three). I was told the machine ‘a detent could be fixed for a minor fee(under $ 10) but that it would have to be sent off to be serviced and it would take three weeks. Fine. Two weeks later I get a call from the service center from a man speaking broken English who tells me the entire casing must be replaced for of course, a higher fee. I tell him no thanks and to proceed with other servicing. A week and a half later it dawns on me to call about my vacuum. I find out it had been at the shop but no one called to tell me. On top of this the man who answered the phone proceeds to interrupt me. Very rude. Bottom line: all they kept doing was pushing the sale of a new Oreck. They didn’t even clean up or perform basic service on my vacuum(which I paid for), and they wouldn’t refund my money on the remaining service appointments I have left. This store is a big fail for me. I won’t be back. I advise people to avoid this shop.
