Nice Moves

Really great job! Although it was raining, the guys worked so hard to take care of my things and keep the momentum going. Very thoughtful and tried to make sure that I had my furniture and boxes where I wanted.

These guys were great. They showed up on time (a couple of minutes early!) and as a previous reviewer stated, they were very respectful. They were careful with my belongings and even asked if I wanted certain items bubble-​wrapped for extra protection. They were very fast and worked well together. I have no complaints.

I need to shuffle couches around in my house, 7 of them. Three of them were very heavy (~250lbs). I opted for a 3 man team, better safe than sorry! Their prices were very competitive, I probably called 6 – 8 different companies. The pricing structure is very simple and they are upfront with how you will be charged. I imagined my job would be less than 1 hour (the minimum) and they worked quick yet carefully. What surprised me the most was how respectful they were.
The 2 heaviest couches went up the stairs which turn 180° half way up. I am glad I hired 3 guys, it was a tough job. Being completely honest, there were a few scuffs when all was said and done. But nothing a little paint here and putty there couldn’t fix. Maybe 5 – 10 minutes worth of my time to fix up. I would actually have been surprised if there weren’t any marks.
Overall I’m very pleased and wouldn’t hesitate to use Nice Moves again.

Where do I start???
On the day of the move, 3 movers arrived to our place & Everything was sort of ok on loading things onto the truck.
Or so we thought…
We moved up north and with traffic, maybe arrived 20 – 40 minutes after movers arrived to our new place.
While I waited outside of the new apartment (while my boyfriend got the keys) with the movers, one of the guys was literally pacing up and down like a rabid dog.
While placing our things into the apartment, that same mover was just zooming through our apartment and seemingly was upset?
Me and my boyfriend had to keep out I the way because he was almost basically running us over.
So, now I’m at our new place and realize that I am missing a lamp that is really precious to me. I called and they got back later that night telling me that the men had forgot it in the truck and that it was broken…
Seems to me like they thought I wouldn’t notice… «Bobby» (the man on the phone) did apologize and say he would have it repaired.
THERE IS A WHOLE LOT MORE I HAVE ON THESE PEOPLE BUT IM SERIOUSLY TIRED OF TYPING.
BEWARE!
ITS BEEN ABOUT A MONTH AND THEY STILL HAVEN’T GOTTEN BACK TO US ABOUT THE ITEMS THEY WERE GONNA «REPAIR». MY FATHER IN LAW PAID FOR THE SERVICE AND THIS REALLY IS BAD BUSINESS!

I found these guys through Angie’s List and am very glad for it! They were all professional, kind and very helpful. We got the move done quickly & without any troubles.
