Whoa, stopped by, walked in and turned around. Maybe not fair to review a place on looks and«welcoming» but here goes. It smelled bad and was dirty. Nuff said. Not many people inside made me suspicious. What I would not give for a Bonefish Grill about now. No greeted me, no one asked if they could help. It was like walking into a private party.

I was impressed, very relaxed place with good prices. I always love the fried fish with garlic sauce! The sweet tea and salsa were awesome! Today I had the two piece lunch fried fish! So much food and the fish was very good! Great service as well.

Pleasant place to grab a beer and a dozen oysters on the half shell. I saw some whole grilled fish that also looked good. Casual place to spend a relaxing hour.

An excellent surprise. Reasonably priced, authentic menu, real Mexican seafood. The beef fajitas are also great.

I’ve driven by other locations in the past, and so I finally took advantage of the opportunity to eat here for lunch recently to finally see what Ostioneria Michoacan was all about. I was pretty pleased with the assortment of Mexican seafood entrees priced pretty reasonably. I had some seafood empanadas as an appetizer, followed by a tasty oyster and shrimp platter. Overall, I’m a fan!

I have to agree with Anthony on this one. I eat here a couple of times per month. The prices are right, with nice portions of grilled fish and sides for $ 10-$ 12. Fresh, and not overcooked! Just be careful, some of the grilled fish come complete with heads, tails and eyeballs, if that kind of thing bothers you. Just pay attention, and you can order a nice, tasty grilled boneless fillet. They have excellent charro beans too! During the weekday lunches you can escape the crowded«Mambos» right down the street. This location is much less croweded on weekdays, and has a spacious comfortable dining room, nicely decorated. Great spot for some business deals over lunch.

Worth the visit but don’t dress up as you will stand out like the proverbial thumb. You know you have found a great spot to eat authentic Mexican food when the place is completely full of Mexican families every weekend. Tried it once on a Sunday afternoon and the car park was overflowing. Best time to go sample here is during the week at lunchtimes or early evening for a sundowner as it does not get as busy. Go sit at the little bar in the rear and order the grilled shrimp with fried rice & salad. The rice is to die for and everything here is ‘cheap as chips’. Best Mexican food I have tasted in Houston by a country mile.
