I’m only giving two stars as they got the product in before Christmas like they promised. Like the other review here in 2015 we also experienced the same issue. The day before install we got a call that they had to push our install back a day. We said that’s okay. The day of the install we got no phone calls and grew concerned because nobody showed up. We called the main office and cell phones and got no response. At first I thought we got ripped off as we paid in advance. An hour later we called the owner to find out where his people were. He called his installation people and told us they were running behind because of an accident on Beltway 8. They finally showed up 3 hours late. The installers said they were late because they had to go to the shop and meet with their supervisor, which was a different story than the manager gave my wife about a wreck on Beltway 8(which we could find no evidence of). Also, the crew that showed up was a different crew than we were told would be there. I was told later that they had to split up the other crew. The new crew got the install done in a day and all looks nice. However, we’ve been having a run around trying to get warranty and paper work from the install. We have emailed and talked to them several times. They lack customer service and getting back to their customers. Each time we contact them they say, «it will be today» and then when you call back they say, «Oh we thought we sent it already.» No you haven’t, so this is why the bad review. We are getting tired of the«today» comment.

I had an installation appointment on a Friday. Wednesday they called and said they couldn’t do it Friday. I agreed to Saturday. I moved everything out of the room and come Saturday they didn’t show up. Didn’t call. Couldn’t be bothered to apologize and now I’m trying to get my deposit back which looks like I’ll have to dispute through my credit card. Don’t waste your time with this outfit– the floors are sold by other retailers.

I love my Pet Floors. I have 5 extremely high energy dogs in a small space, and while the floors were more expensive than traditional flooring, it’s totally worth it. Doesn’t scratch, and if there is a spill or accident, it’s easy to clean up!

I first heard about Pet Floors of Houston from my Vet. All Cat’s. I was in there one day after the floors had been done, and noticed how nice they were. I called Pet Floors and talked to a really nice lady, I believe was the owner, told her that my mom had problems with the carpet on the stairs and wanted to put in hard wood. I called them and they set up an appointment for that same week. A guy came out and worked with my mom for a couple of hours picking and choosing the right floor for her. The total was a little high due to her wanting to put in travertine as well. She put down a non refundable deposit for the work to be done at a later date. My mom decided against doing the flooring after all for at least this year so we called and canceled. Knowing that her deposit would be lost. That was about 2 months ago and today when my mom checked the mail there was a check for the deposit amount with a note that said Happy Thanksgiving! Even though my mom hasn’t used their service yet they still took great care of her.
