Tried this place again. Had a better experience. The phở here is very tasty. Probably the best in the area. I like that the owner cares and asks for feedback. That is always a plus. The drinks are still pricey…$ 4 for a Thai tea! Also, the sandwich is not my fave… I don’t like the red sauce. I’ll have to remember to say no red sauce next time. Other than those minor things, this place serves solid food.

My husband and I were looking for an early morning phở place and Phở 85 was open at 9am, woo! We ordered the spring rolls, chicken salad, phở with eye of round and bun bo hue. I was SO excited to see Bun Bo Hue on that menu as lots of places don’t carry it. The spring rolls were fantastic, not too many noodles n the middle, and filled with lots of herbs, shrimp and pork! The chicken salad was AMAZING, you definitely have to order this. Very unique and delicious. A wonderful ginger fish sauce! I love how thinly sliced the cabbage was too. The phở was great, nice flavors. And the bun bo hue was phenomenal. very good lemongrass flavor and they bring lots of toppings! Definitely check out Phở 85! Also — exceptional service and super friendly staff.

So I recently started a new job, so my old spots are basically obsolete. I started searching for near by Vietnamese joints to try out. In fact they are a few places with a 3 mile radius. Out of the near by restaurants, phở 85 gets my two thumbs up. Initially, I checked the menu but saw no vegetarian options. My first time there I was curious if I could get a tofu rice plate(spicy) since I did not see it on the menu. I asked my server & he was able to fulfill my request. The rice plate was good, damn good! Sauteed peppers & onions cooked perfectly served with a side salad & tofu was firm! Firm tofu will always win in my book. I decided to return for a tofu banh mi. This time I asked if u could get my sandwich spicy. Im not too sure what they marinated the tofu in, but the spice of the sandwich is spot on. One of the tastiest sandwiches ive ever had! Much better then the competition. Well, Im pretty sure I found my new place. Staff is friendly, food is dope & prices are fair. Need I say more?

Tried out this place for the first time today and completely enjoyed it. Spring rolls with shrimp and pork were very good. I wanted a spicy broth in my soup… they had one that was spicy that contained beef however they were kind enough to replace that with chicken instead.

I ate here for the first time this evening. I had the chicken noodle soup and my husband had the rock’n’roll beef. I enjoyed the broth, noodles and chicken. All had good flavor.(The broth was a tiny bit salty but I finished it all.) The basil was very fresh. My toddler ate quite a bit of the chicken soup. My husband liked the rock’n’roll beef. The owner spoke to us and is very kind and excited to talk about the meals they make. She described how they make the chicken noodle soup and also that it’s made fresh everyday. It is homemade in house and they use fresh chicken everyday. She said when they first opened the restaurant 19 months ago they would sell out of this soup and now make a bigger pot of it to accommodate its popularity. I would like to go back to try more from the menu.

Such a great family owned business! I ran late from work when they were just closing and they stayed open a little later to get my order in. Definitely best thing that happened to me all day. Food is amazing whether you eat to go or dine in. Hospitality is more than great there!

Phở 85 has been I be of my best finds! The food is fresh tasty and inviting visually. Service is too notch. Began to call my good order when leaving my workplace so my food would be ready by the time of arrival. To my surprise the staff have observed how I lay out my napkin as a place at where I like my chopsticks how I like my refreshment and if will need a to go box. I just show up to enjoy and pay. I do tip generously but feel certain this is their tradition in customer service. I extend an invite to try them maybe I’ll see you there. Tell them Maria sent you!!!

They have some very good authentic Vietnamese food here. My wife and me are allergic to low quality Viet food that has MSG. They have almost no traces of MSG in their food. I love eating the phở dac biet(special) and bun bo hue at Phở 85. The waiters and waitresses are friendly. It’s a clean restaurant. I enjoy coming here for lunch at least once a week.

Leaving happy and on a full tank of delicious Bahn MI and spring rolls. Phillip the owner took care of my stomach with the only good/traditional/fresh Banh mi around. They make everything in house including their bread which made the world of difference. Next time you’re craving delicious traditional Vietnamese food with just as good service, check out phở 85!

Best Bun Cha Gio and Bun Bo Hue in town. The marinated pork in Bun Cha Gio is very delicious. A little on the sweeter side than most but the meat is very savory. The spicy sauce in Bun Bo Hue is addicting and very spicy. A little dab will make make the soup very flavorful and so good. A good place to grab a quick bite. Also, the waitress/owner LiAnn was very welcoming and made me feel at home on my first visit. Will definitely come back.

This place is disgusting. First off they have few many items and the phở was flavorless. I would’ve been better off going to Panda Express.

They are only open until 7PM and we arrived at 6, so just enough time to eat and not feel like we were making them stay open. The place was empty, but very clean. It was very open and bright which was very inviting. There was very limited options on the menu, which I’m OK with; however there were not any vegetarian options. I was very pleased when our waiter came over and I asked if they had any veggie option and he said they could make me something ‘no problem’. Come to find out they are getting ready to make a new menu which will have more options all around. My daughter ordered the Phở Ga and said it was good. My man got the Bahn Mi Ga and said it was OK, but a little on the sweet side for him. The chef said he could make me a lemongrass tofu and tofu spring rolls, so that’s what I had. The spring rolls were typical, but the peanut sauce as also a bit on the sweet side for me. The lemongrass tofu was awesome! I let them know they should defiantly put that on the menu! I’m giving it 4 stars for this dish alone and the fact they were so friendly and accommodating. I’d go back if I was in the area for that dish.

First of all, the phở tastes good and they have a good product overall. You have probably had better though. Eggrolls were small and were not hot. The phở took about 20 minutes to come out and the restaurant was empty. You are only allowed to choose 3 pieces of meat for your phở– steak, brisket, meat balls, tripe, tendon. The phở arrives very hot(which I liked), but there just wasn’t enough meat. This is a good place for phở, but I won’t be coming back — I prefer Thienh Anh, which is a half mile away.

The food is pretty much authentic and tastes quite good. I ordered their Bun Bo Hue and grilled pork chop with rice, both of them were up to par. Even I wished their Bun Bo Hue’s broth could be a little bit more spicy. The down side is the menu has very limited amount of dishes you could order. There are only Phở, vermicelli and rice plates for you to choose from. Probably that is why they could focus more on flavor and consistency.

BEST Crawfish I have EVER had in my life!!! All of the food is fantastic! I just had their new vegetarian dish last night and I am blown away! Their Rock N Roll Tofu was to die for! Its a clean well run local business. I highly recommend going here. The service and price are the best I have seen in my area especially for the high quality of the food. It is obvious the owners take pride in their establishment and my family and I appreciate that and go there very regularly. Keep up the great work Phở 85!

I’ve heard amazing things about this place. Tucked away off 290 and 529. Great clean atmosphere. Staff is really friendly and that’s a plus. The first thing I tried was the Thai Tea and it was absolutely perfect. I tried the vegetable noodles soup and it is bursting with flavor. So yummy. AND everything is MSG Free. Omg!!! I will definitely be back.

We love Phở and Vietnamese food in general ! Picked up a Togo order here while driving to my hubby’s work, got 2 vermicelli bowls and fell in LOVE I swear I say this about 70% of Phở/noodle restaurants we find but this was amazing! The food was fresh and packaged perfectly and they even threw in extra peanut sauce & fish sauce… Let me tell you about the fish sauce. It made my day. This fish sauce had pepper flakes in it that gave the an extra kick! The spring rolls look different than most I’ve had, most put the chargrilled pork in the spring rolls, this looked like it had white meat? Also it had cucumbers in it(which I’m not a fan of cucumbers in general) but I’ll know next time to ask for mine without. Because we’ll definitely be back for a work-day lunch!!!
