We came here last night and the food, tea, and service were excellent! Chicken spring rolls and edamame were great appetizers! I ordered the P1 which is the beef Phở and all I can say is yum!!! The filet was perfectly rare, there is tripe, meatballs and brisket as well!!! I’m assuming our server was also the owner… she was very attentive and informative.

The restaurant was dead silent and only a few people. Very clean establishment. I had the bo luc lac and spring rolls. I’ve had better bo luc lac — the seasoning just wasn’t doing it for me. All in all everything tastes good and everyone was friendly.

their tofu banh mi sandwich is soooo good! I don’t like the fresh jalapeños so I take them off and replace it w sirracha… only 5 bucks and fills you up! the bread on the sandwich is so good too. love their phở as well!

The phở was ok. To me the broth was a little too light for my taste. It lacked chopped green onions and bolder taste. The egg rolls were good and crisp. The price is a little high but you get plenty. The service was good. The large phở was very big, I finished it but shouldn’t have. I’m too full, phở real !

This is my to-go place because it’s near where I live. The phở is good, I love the broth, but it could be heavier on the beef side. I guess because most of the guests are American so they have to downside the beef smell. The service is nice and prompt. I really like eating their spring roll. It’s still your regular spring roll that you can eat at other restaurants, but to me I like the neat way they roll it: tight, clean and in a good shape. I hate spring rolls that are rolled quickly and too big(or too small). Or maybe because I’m a neat freak, that’s why.

Phở Real was a perfectly quiet restaurant for a Saturday night. The tofu spring rolls and sandwiches were fantastic because they didn’t skimp you on anything. Music is low enough to enjoy it. A little on the pricey side, $ 14 for two tofu sandwiches and spring rolls. Well worth it though. Nice enough for a little date, or a dine in alone. Definitely coming back! Thanks for the awesome meal!

Awesome food, awesome service! Incredibly fresh ingredients and flavorful tofu. A little on the pricey side for the banh mi(4.75) but very worth it.

So I’ve only been to this location twice and that’s because they closed their previous location years ago and we never knew where they went until we finally found them again and let me tell you I MISSEDTHEM! For years my family and I have gone to numerous phở restaurants only to accept the mediocre food but now they are history because our favorite dish(rock and roll beef) with spring rolls is still as delicious as we remember it. My only complaint is that their hot and sour soup is very different than what I remembered but it is still tasty just not what I expected. Overall this place is a great family restaurant and I recommend this place to anyone I know who wants Vietnamese for lunch or dinner.

I am being generous with my review because the waitress did after all have good customer service. At first, she was the only person working the floor and was helping some people who I believe were ordering food to go. We were really hungry and thirsty and no one would come take our drink order. When she was through helping the gentlemen at the counter, She finally came to get our drink order. I believe were were ready to order our food by then. I ordered a limeade. I find $ 3.75 excessive for a limeade. How much does a lime cost? She shrimp spring roll was good but I can’t compare it to other restaurants because I haven’t had Vietnamese food in quite some time. I had a small shrimp hot and sour soup and it tasted good too and served with rice. I was going to give this place three stars but the waitress did come through once she was done taking a to-go order. It’s not her fault. Furthermore, I have to be objective. This is not a luxurious Vietnamese restaurant, the shrimp soup was good as well as the limeade.

Ordered the rock and roll beef with fried rice and the beef was tender and marinated well and had good flavor. It also came with a soup on the side which is a plus.

i only come here because its convenient and i heard the bo luc lac is good. but they skimp on the portion of meat so its basically a big giant pile of rice and like 7 pieces of beef. i think this restaurant has declined in taste. the phở i had was good the very first year it opened. its mediocre now.

This is a short review. What I find amazing is I pass this place every day on my way home. I never thought about it until my son was sick. I wanted him to have Phở Soup, to clear his congestion. Never mind that my son is 35 years old and he could get his own soup, there is nothing like a Mother’s Love to make you feel better. My love gift was Phở Soup, and it did the trick. He was up and better within hours. I didn’t actually have the soup, I got a large order of it and him and his wife shared. They both said the soup was good. I got the white meat only which is the way I heard it is best. The soup looked good, I will surely order some for myself soon. Service was quick!

The first thing I noticed about the phở broth was that one of the spices was much stronger than most places. I don’t know my phở well enough to say which one. The rare beef was fantastically tender — some of the best I’ve had in a bowl of phở. I was a bit disappointed by the quality of the cilantro and basil though because they were wilting or beginning to wilt. I didn’t want to put them in my soup. I also had an order of springrolls that were great. They were obviously made fresh and the shrimp were still warm. I find that the springrolls often vary much more than the phở from restaurant to restaurant. They change the amount of noodle, the type and quality of meat, and the freshness. The peanut sauce can carry even more. This springroll came with a thin tender slice of pork on one side and a fresh shrimp on the other. These were long an slender compared to the more common fat stubby variety. I found the noodle/meat ratio much more pleasing. The peanut sauce had a good flavor and the consistency was perfect. Many times it is too thick and it just cakes on, or too thin and it all dribbles off. Try them out if you stop in.

We have passed this place many times, but had not eaten here till tonight. The name is awesome. The interior is pretty standard compared to the other Vietnamese places I have eaten here in Houston. Nice and clean. Was not loud or crowded this evening. Great Phở. The broth was flavorful and the seafood was delicious. My wife had the beef phở and I tried some of the fillet from hers. It was sliced very thin and was also yummy. We both had the small portions and it was plenty for us. The large must be very large! We will be back to try some other selections.

The Rock and Roll Beef seems to be very popular as my group always calls in advance to have this ready once we get to the restaurant. The beef is tender and has plenty of scallions and garlic with a large side of fried rice. They also give you a taste of the Phở soup to entice you to try other options. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area. Server’s and owners are very friendly.

Phở Rizzle! I couldn’t help it. I love the name of this place. I also love that it’s within walking distance from my house. I came here for lunch with a friend to catch up and chat about boys while she’s on her holiday break. This place has zero ambience and very minimal décor. But it’s very clean and there was barely anyone in there while we eat so we didn’t have to scream to hear each other. Unfortunately, I didn’t order the Phở but I did try their vermicilli with fried tofu while my friend ordered spring rolls. The tofu was thinly sliced and tempura fried for a delicious crunch. The vermicilli came with the usual sauce, bean sprouts, lettuce, mint and peanuts. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I looked like a pig as I scarfed down ALL of my food(happy plate!) while my friend nibbled delicately at her spring rolls like a real lady should. Since this place is so close and their food is moderately priced, I’ll probably be back when I don’t feel like driving to get some Vietnamese food.

I came to Phở Real earlier tonight because my girlfriend was always posting delicious food she was eating from here. After an intense workout tonight at 24 hr fitness down the street, I thought I’d give it a try. My friends photos were only the half of it! Not only do the meals come out looking delicious, they taste just as good. I had the mi thap cam and my friend had the com bo luc lac with steamed rice(substitute fried rice for $ 1). My mi thap cam was packed full of noodles just the way I like it, the seafood didn’t seem fresh however, I didn’t mind and the pork meat was just like how my mom makes it, juicy, tender and melt in your mouth. It comes either w/soup, soup on the side or non at all, whichever you prefer. A little on the sweet side, but nothing a little Sriracha couldn’t fix. I tried my friends Bo Luc Lac and that as well was just as good. They say you can’t go wrong w/Bo Luc Lac, but that’s not true. However Phở Real managed to make the pieces proportionate, tender and juicy, with a hint of crispiness to it. Both meals came out within the first 7 minutes or so after ordering, the waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating. They asked if everything was ok and even talked to us some. We came in at 7pm and the restaurant closes at 8pm however the waitstaff did not make us feel uncomfortable at all about coming in at such a late hour. The menu did not have a wide variety but since they just opened 3 weeks ago I’m sure there is more deliciousness to come.
