Found my Phở place again. They were previously in Hong Kong mall and now have moved here. They have the absolute best Bun Suong, in town. When they left the Hong Kong mall I was really sad and went looking at many different places around town. I tried all of them and nothing compares to the Bun Suong here. Perfectly cooked vermicelli noodles in a clear broth with yummy pork belly and ground shrimp balls its garnished with peanuts, bean sprouts and some chili oil. Yum yum

Well it’s my second time come back here so I think I can write a review right now. My first time was okay, I tried the Com Tam and it was. ehh not too bad! So I came back to try another dish, this time was Bun Oc. And tbh, I was so disappointed. I’ve tried so many places but this is the first place has Gio Heo(pig’s feet) in Bun Oc. It was not a big deal, okay. Next thing, called Bun Oc which supposingly had snails, but I literally found like 4 tiny snails in the soup, which was not satisfied. The soup, such no flavor. Over all, clean restaurant, nice service. But probably not coming back.

I think they may be the same Phở Dung that used to be in Hong Kong City Mall but I’m not sure. If they are, they have definitely improved on their phở as it was previously almost inedible but is now much better. The restaurant itself is new and clean. The phở was decent but the bo luc lac was flavorless and same goes for the fried rice. However, they offer a great deal of different dishes so we may come back and try something else.

The interior of this place is really nicely decorated and modernized. It also has a nice ambiance. My family and I decided to check this place out since Phở Ve Dem was closed. When we first arrived, we were immediately greeted by the waiter and we were quickly sat down. While the waiter waited for us to order what we wanted, he went to get our drinks. After finally ordering, surprisingly the food did not take a long time to come. The waiting time was not long since there were only a table occupied but I guess that’s to be expected since this is a new location. The phở tai nam we ordered tasted really good and there was sufficient meat. Not to mention our plate of vegetables were plentiful and fresh. Since I only eat steamed bean sprouts, I asked for some. They gave us more than what we wanted which was great. 5⁄5 because the food was delicious and the waiter was attentive — which makes me a very happy gal! Overall, our experience here was great and I would come again if I go to Bellaire.

I saw this place open while i was coming home at midnight, so i thought i would come by sometime at night. Came on a saturday night, fairly busy but not killer. Waiter came by and fooled me by speaking vietnamese. When i tried to converse with him he would nod his head and point at the food. Turned out he doesnt know how to speak vietnamese but just a little bit of it. Quite hilarious, couldve fooled any vietnamese speaker as long as they dont bring up anything too specific. I ordered the com chien bo luc lac. It came out less then 10 minutes very warm. The beef was very tender and juicy. The rice was seasoned very well. The pickled vegetables were fresh. This dish is my absolute favorite and they nailed it quite well. The dish was $ 10 but for that price you get a lot of food. Service was very fast and quick. Very nice attitude and attentive to anyone who looks lost. I did not go inside the restroom but i would hope it looks very modern like how it does outside. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves vietnamese foods ranging from phở, com tam and other rice dishes. Very filling, cheap and of course, delicious. Will be making a stop here again very soon and hopefully many more.

Phở Dung is pretty decent. The shopping complex is a little run down but inside the restaurant is new and clean. I think it’s a bit pricier than other phở places. Regular bowl is 7.95 and I think a large is probably another dollar more? Food came out pretty fast… phở tai bo vien was good. Service was just okay… the guys seemed a little disoriented but we got what we needed when asked. Eggrolls were pretty large… decent flavor but a tad greasy. I’d probably return if I needed a closer location for phở pick up.

This is the old location inside HK. They relocated down further down Belaire and Synott. My phở was pretty yummy. It was hot and fresh! The veggies were plentiful for my table of just one. The staff seem to be the same people from what I can see at the front end of the place. so this might mean the cooking staff probably is the same as well. They actually have brewed iced tea that is not watered down like at some Viet places. The service was actually fast and friendly to my surprise. I am Vietnamese but I have been told many times I don’t look it. Oh boy when I speak to the employees in Viet their eyes get big. I get a kick out of it hehehe! Phở Dung does not have much appetizers on their menu I think they have maybe 3 items. However, they have a good size selection of rice plates, vermicelli, noodle soups to chose from as well as traditional desserts and drinks.(Che and Nuoc Mia). The female employee was super nice to give me a brand new ice tea in a Togo cup when I asked for a togo cup to take the one I was already drinking.
