I used to love this place with the fresh chicken meat. It has been a year since I came back and decided to swing by for lunch on a Saturday(2÷6÷2016) around noon. The first thing that i noticed is all new faces. I think they may have a change in ownership. I ordered a Mi Ga Dac Biet and a Goi Ga Bap Chuoi. Right away, I can take that this is a bad decision when the food got out. The chicken meat is a little slimey and really cold. The Bap Chuoi was really soggy. The chicken in my Mi Ga is not very good either. The only positive thing out of the experience is the service. The waiter is pretty nice and attentive to our needs.

When this place first opened, the dry chicken phở instantly became my favorite place… But sadly, after the many times I’ve been there or to-go food. they probably changed owners or chefs? So I came recently and the phở broth was all grease and oil. It was disgusting. I couldn’t eat it after a few bites. And it wasn’t just me. Everyone else’s broth was the same and friends/family that had came recently said the same. Service still excellent though.

It was a Bun Bo Hue(bung ba way) kind of day. The weather was rainy and cold. I wanted a spicy beef noodle soup to warm me up. I have had this dish before, but this restaurant’s version was a bit outside of my comfort zone. The soup broth and the noodles were fine, but I wasn’t prepared for the chunks of dark red mystery and the huge bone that had fat and skin still attached(I think). As I suspected, the red chunks were congealed pig’s blood. For the record, the menu makes no mention of either. It just says«Hue Vermicelli Bowl w/Beef.» If I had my own bizzare foods television series then maybe, but not today.

The phở isn’t that great, and a rat was seen there. Probably from the vacant use to be Kroger right next to it. But I would not go again

Phở was really NOT good. Tasted like there was loads of artificial flavoring and MSG. We also ordered the Mi Vit Tiem(I know what you’re going to say, «They’re specialty is phở ga»). However, I feel that why put something on the menu when you can’t cook it well? The Mi was very disappointing. It had absolutely no garnish. There was two pieces of bok choy floating in the soup with two pieces of dehydrated apples. Oh and the duck drumstick that didn’t look fresh at all. Regretted it. Should have just went to Phở Ga Dakao.

First Visit was okay… the service was okay, but they confused my order and gave me cantaloupe smoothie instead of the honeydew I ordered, and they forgot my father’s Combo Banh Mi ;-;. Also, the phở I had was basic beef phở with tendon, brisket, and meatballs. They gave plenty of meat, but the soup tasted kinda on the bland side… with a weird flavor. Asked my Viet friend to try it, and she said they’d put waaaaaay too much MSG in it. Ew. I know it happens sometimes. but good phở that’s slow cooked with care, shouldn’t have MSG in it. Second Visit… and the last visit. I ordered two cold fruit herbal teas. My mum tried ordering prior but got confused and we weren’t serviced until 18 minutes later when my mum flagged down a waiter. Finally I order, and we play the waiting game. A 24 minute long waiting game. The girls preparing our drinks were snotty, rude, and I didn’t appreciate their attitude. They were just so ugh. The final straw… they didn’t put ice in the COLD tea. It was warm. For the price we paid, it was unacceptable and we won’t be back. Seriously couldn’t stand those women. 2 stars because the service is lame and can be snotty, and the food was average. Should you ever encounter non-snotty workers, I would recommend the Cold Herbal Juice. Not the tea~~~~~~That’s evil according to mum lol.

This is one of my favorite resturants in Houston. It is clean and professional. The food is great and service is great. Great experience. We had the Chicken soup and some sort of bbq meat with noodles mint leaves, sprouts… etc. Good stuff.

The place is pretty big, and the customer service was good. I did not care too much for the Phở Gai I got. I may try it again one day but for now. Im GOOD!

They are so nice and the food is soo good. Their phở rivals Phở Ve Dem and Phở Dien. Their eggrolls are also delicious! Give them a try, you wont regret it!

Kind of the only store opened in the huge shopping center, while the interior looks modern and refreshed, the road side sign seems more weathered than the Sphinx. Walking in early on the weekend before golf, the place is empty. Not a good sign as I scan the menu. Food: Phở Ga special; Recommended by the waitress, as the store name implies the #1Chicken soup. It’s a bit on the bland side, plenty of meat and eggs. But nothing really special here. B Not much to see here, as nothing stands out. Sad to say, but the places that get you sick are more memorable?
