They wanted to charge $ 18 for two slices of supreme. What a scam to advertise as a pizza by the slice place — their slices aren’t pre-made. Staff gets impatient if you’re a first time customer. Save your money.

I’ve ordered from Pink’s twice now, and after a second *miss* I don’t think I will order from them a third time. Tonight the person taking my order had to place me on hold multiple times Once he «was locked out of my order on the computer,» requiring me to repeat my information and order. The second time he couldn’t figure out how to take my credit card, so I gave up and opted to pay with cash. When my pizza finally arrived I realized they had made a mistake and given me canadian bacon instead of pepperoni(despite me having to repeat my order twice). The crust was also mushy and fell apart when I tried to pick up one of the unevenly cut slices. Next time I’m sticking to Star pizza or the usual chains.

Pink’s is a great local pizzeria. The people who run Pink’s definitely understand the social responsibility of creating food that brings people together. Pink’s has dynamite toppings and some really well crafted signature combinations. The goat cheese on their This Guy, is a household favorite for red sauce pizza. The first time I picked it up I needed to use two hands. I’ve never felt a heavier pizza loaded down with so many toppings. The alfredo sauce Double Down combo of chicken/bacon/garlic is our favorite alternate for something more buttery and a bit different. The employees have always been very friendly and accommodating. They even let us buy balls of their dough for making grilled pizza at home! I guess it was a popular thing to do because now it’s an option on the menu. The gluten-free dough option is a premade frozen crust, much thinner, and pricey. It’s good when fresh out of the oven, just don’t try to eat it for leftovers. Even a reheat in the oven or on a hot cast iron wasn’t enough to revive it. As better gluten-free flour blends have been hitting the market, a fresh housemade GF crust would really be the only improvement considering the exceptional quality of ingredients and how well they do everything else based on five years of weekly pizzas!

I’ve gotten pizza from pinks twice now, both times the meat lover pizza. It’s pretty good — not quite as greasy as one of the chain restaurants, but not as good as some of the other specialty places I’ve been to. Their pizzas are like a higher quality version of a dominos. It’s like an ok college art student. Sure, it’s not a Picasso or anything, but it’s better than that crap you made back in high school. I’ve never actually paid for the pizza, though, so I don’t know how much it costs. I’ve heard it’s not super cheap, so I’m not sure if it’s worth the price or not. But, as long as it’s free, 5*. If it’s under 20 a pie, probably 4*. It’s good pizza, but not out of this world.

The pizza was definitely good but not the BEST in Houston. Placed my order for delivery and it was pretty simple. Only downfall with online ordering is that you can only pay credit card(no cash option). Delivery was an hour, which is long but they do give you a estimated delivery time once order is placed so you know what to expect. Once order arrived it wasn’t as hot as I would of liked it. I ordered the Half split pizza Luna/Freschetta. Both were really good and way different then your average Papa Johns or Dominos. Will order again in the future. Just will be sure to order an hour before I get hungry;)

Walked in expecting mediocre pizza and was impressed enough to write a review. Had a large slice with a few extra ingredients and it was great!

Boy boy boy this is some good eatin. For those that don’t eat pizza… all I can say is yall are missing out. Pizza will always be one of my favorite foods no matter how old I get. I’ve heard about this pizza for years before I actually tried it. Honestly I don’t know why I waited so long. But any who, I had some of this pizza today for lunch and it was pretty freaking good. We ordered«This Guy» and it did not disappoint. This pizza made me start questioning my relationship with my favorite pizza place in Houston. The service here is slow. Not unreasonably slow, like the staff are just doodling around slow. But slow because they are understaffed. One guy was having to run all over, answer the phones, help customers, and help make pizzas. There was another guy but he seemed pretty stationary. The pizza is not cheap, but all things considered(well only considering how awesome it taste) I think it is worth the price. $ 19 for the small pizza, a couple more dollars for a couple inches more. The small is definitely more than enough for 2 ppl. I will be back to try other pizzas.

Good pizza. I order pretty often from them because they’re conveniently close. It’s not the best in Houston but it’s also not the worst. You’ll definitely be satisfied.

I didn’t even want to give this place one star but there you go. I’ve been going to this heights Pinks Pizza location for years and I’ve never been treated like I was some nights ago. My boyfriend and I dropped by this location at night and we saw the neon OPEN sign lit up so we were excited to go order a couple of slices of pizza. We also saw that there were two workers talking and relaxing outside on the chairs, a blonde girl and an older Hispanic man. They saw us park and once they saw us walking towards the restaurant, the blonde girl ran and switched off the OPEN sign and the Hispanic man started picking up the chairs from the outside. It was well before the restaurant was set to close. We will never be going there again.

Good pizza if you want delivery but not a chain like Domino’s or Pizza Hut. We had the Lazy Lasagna, it was really good. Not too many ingredients but just the right amount. About $ 22 for a large. Big slices but they weren’t cut all the way through, we had to use our own pizza cutter. New girl was on the phone and apparently this store doesn’t service our house but they delivered anyways! I would recommend this place, but it’s also hard to mess up pizza. They have a ton of creative names & ingredients, like cranberry!

The pizza is super amazing. It’s some of the best I’ve had. The only downside to the food is they cut the pieces huge — like twice as big as they should be. Oh, and it’s a little pricey, but I think it’s still fair for how good it is. Ordering online didn’t work for me because fresh mozzerella was definitely not listed in the checkboxes, even though it’s on the menu. Also, they use a stupid address verification system that doesn’t recognize my address because my house is less than a year old. So I called to order on the phone. But apparently the manager didn’t realize he didn’t write down our unit number — or maybe the address verification system screwed it up on his end too — so the driver was a bit lost.

Okay, I’m a covert; after two bad experiences, I’ve had some really goods ones so I’m updating my review. I’ve had a really good experience ordering pizzas for pick-up; it’s ready on time and piping hot & delicious; today was my first delivery attempt since the bad experiences; pizza was delivered 15 minutes ahead of predicted(mind you, I ordered at 4:45 on a Monday.) We especially love the Luna pizza(I think that’s the name.) We sub regular sauce for the recommended Alfredo and it’s delicious; the fresh basil makes it great!

I love eating pizza from here. The staff is usually slow but I always feel like its worth the wait. It is definitely on the oily side but nothing unappetizing. The cheesey bread appetizer is also VERY good. I typically do the«make your own» pizza option and not the pre set options but I’ve heard it is amazing either way! I do get annoyed when pizza places charge extra for ranch dressing considering I see it has a necessary condiment, but that may be just me :)

Spent the weekend in Houston visiting a friend. Ordered the big boss for pick up. Great taste. Light sauce. Soft yet crisp crust — not greasy at all. Employees were super nice. Location looks a but like a dive — but those usually have the best grub. Definitely recommend.

Stopped in for a slice of pepperoni one night after a few drinks. A one topping slice is $ 3.50 and it is on a pre-made then reheated with the additional toppings. The slice is huge and unless you have a huge appetite 1 is enough. I wouldn’t say it is spectacular, but it is better than chains and I love that they have pizza by the slice. If you want decent pizza this does the job. I really love their crust! The staff was nice and very friendly. I will be back for more if I am in the mood for a pizza snack!

I’d recommend Pink’s Pizza over other pizza chains — except Star Pizza! — both because it’s local and it’s good… whenever they get the order right, that is. Unfortunately, «getting it right» is often not the case, especially if you’re ordering over the phone. If you decide to order in person and can be there to make sure your order’s done exactly the way you want it and that they include everything you ask for, then I recommend the thin-crust pizzas. For deep dish, however, Star Pizza(also local) is so much better, and they always get our delivery orders right!

Seems like the general consensus is very mixed on this place. For me, I’ve really liked it each time. Overall, I’ve tried a few different styles of pizzas here and have liked it. I don’t think this place is overhyped, and I’ll admit, I’ve had better pizza. However, for Houston, this is the best I’ve come across in the Heights area. I don’t ask myself, «Why did I eat all that!?!» after. So, thumbs up. I find the complaints about deliveries a bit unwarranted. With any pizza place, especially non-corporate ones, you’re going to get a 25−45min wait. Make your life easier and just go pick up the pizza. It’ll be ready in 10−20min max. Pretty chill atmosphere. Not exactly recommended for dining, but just chill out while they finish up your pizza. Support local businesses! Staff is very friendly. Parking is easy.
