Pomp and Circumstance Boutique

Their stuff is hit and miss. Good prices I guess. One Sunday I asked them to hold something they posted on their Instagram (They’re closed on Mondays) and they replied that they couldn’t hold items until Tuesday. I’m sorry, aren’t you a local small scale boutique? And you’re telling me you can’t hold an item until the next business day? Never had that experience. And I shop — -a lot.
On a separate occasion I called and asked them to put something on hold (so I could try on before buying) 20 minutes before they closed. I was in traffic, racing against the clock to get there, when the girl called back and told me that she was going to sell the item to someone that sent a Paypal invoice online. I WAS ON MY WAY IN TO TRY ON THEIR ITEM! They chose to sell it online for a quick buck. Not good customer service at all. I was very disappointed.
It seems to me that they just care about making their money and not their local clientele. I base this on my two separate experiences (both times I did not identify myself) so it must just be a thing with them.
Gave 2 stars for the one girl I met in there, the times I went in. She was sweet and helpful. That’s about all I can say about that. Hope they change.

This boutique has been around for a while and this is their new location. They have some cute stuff and they are pretty good at selecting a small, but lovely selection of clothes and accessories. It didn’t impress me too much though, I’ll have to keep checking it out as their new items come in. I did purchase a cute fur vest this visit.
