Pupas are a Salvadorian dish from the streets so this is a very simple place. Don’t expect a fancy classy environment. come here for the food and also for the nice staff. What a nice people. If you are in south houston stop by. Cheese pupusas are my favorite one.

Love the Food! The pupusas made of rice are my favorite and so are the corn tamales are very tasty! The restaurant it self is clean but a classic salvi place with the music choice and spanish TV channel on novelas. The best part are the plates they look like a chinese restuarant gave them hand me downs all and all the service is whatever! The food is not forgettable so I will go back for sure

Well I’m came to check this place. To my experience the staff is very friendly and helpful. They pupusas are very good. Every Wednesday the pupusas are a $ 1.00. I would recommend anyone to come and try this place.

My boyfriend and I always come here once a week usually on Tuesdays (it’s Wednesday now) when it’s $ 1.00 pupusas all day long! We always ALWAYS get the chicken pupusas because none of the other ones come close! The only issue, which I’ve gotten use to because I love the pupusas too much not to come back, is customer service. I (We) feel like they are annoyed when we come and order but like I said GREAT food, not so great attitudes. The ambience is your neighborhood joint, novellas (soap operas) on the TV and Christian musice in the back ground. Over all 5 stars on the food, customer service, eh just don’t get easily offended if they don’t smile when you order or leave lol.

Came here after the Houston Chronicle gave it such a good review. It was totally justified. I don’t claim to be any authority on pupusas but these were amazing. Price was just as good. One complaint is menu and all signs are in Spanish. Obviously I am not their target demographic but English translations would go a long way towards making new customers more comfortable in stepping outside of their comfort zone and trying this excellent restaurant. Go!
