We looked at this place when we moved to Houston. The staff is friendly, they provide great service and I know some of them really care because its their home. Call them up and check out the rates, I thought it was affordable for all the floor plan options.

Mara is the manager. She really cares about people and doesn’t treat you like a client; she treats you like a friend. I lived there during Hurricane Ike. We had no power for over a week — she bought big containers to keep coffee warm and food hot, and would cook at home and bring it up for her residents. Who does that?! They accept big dogs, but the people were not ghetto. That was a hard thing for me to find when I needed to move from a house to an apartment. I had a large dog, and most of the apartments I looked at that would accept a large dog had pretty scary people living there. It was a good location– also right by a small park you can walk your dog at! They are older apartments, but they had large rooms, and I really enjoyed my time there!

I lived at the Quadrangle for about a year before we bought a new house, and I think it’s the best apartment complex I’ve lived in(here or elsewhere). The price at the time(1999⁄2000) was less than $ 900 for a 2-bedroom apartment, with large rooms. I believe the place was around 1300 square feet, with two balconies, a fireplace and washer/dryer included. The complex accepts large dogs, and was remodeled in 1997. All of the appliances and carpet had been replaced, so the place felt more modern and new despite being around 25 years old. We also had assigned covered parking, right underneath our back balcony. The only complaints I would have are the fact that the kitchen is pretty tiny, especially relative to all of the other rooms, which are quite large. Also, the pool is small and round. I hate round pools. The location is great since there are good restaurants on the west side of town. It also has convenient access to grocery stores and other shops, and easy freeway access to Beltway 8, and reasonable access to I-10. It’s around 10 miles to downtown, but it will feel like more if you have to commute. Overall, a great place to live. If I ever find myself in need of an apartment, I would probably just come back here rather than bother looking at other apartments.
