Rack Room Shoes

If you’ve read my other Review of Rack Room Shoes, you know In love this place! In fact, I’ve actually become a shoe lover (but not shopper: p because of this RRS. I so happened to be in the West Oaks area one day after Christmas and decided to see if they had some booties to rock with a dress. When I entered the store, I saw a lot of empty shelves. Hmmmmmm. «People really bought alot of shoes for Christmas,» I thought. But the shelves were just too barren, so I asked the employee if this location was closing. With a somber nod of his head he said, yes. Disappointment and Tragic for you all on the west side of Htown! Me, the finickiest o shoe shoppers who hates shopping for shoes would shop at RRS and find something to buy every weekend if I had the money. Oh yeah, and the the time! He continued to express his feelings on the closer and the impromptu closer in January 2013, but two positives come out of this: the guy still has a job at another location and 2) the left over inventory is priced down to mooooooove! Limited selection, but great deals on what’s left for you to BOGO. and if you’re money saavy like moi, you better sign up for their emails and texts to get those pretty consistent 10% + BOGO codes! Last purchase on two shoes cost me less than $ 40 and that included a pair of black booties (the objective of my purchase) and some sketchers which would cost me at least $ 40 by themselves. Once more, they didn’t have the color I wanted in the booties at this store, so the employee kindly looked up the closest location that carried the shoe to pick up (which they are willing to hold for 3 days) or have it shipped to me. I think that’s pretty awesome and as good as it gets! Sure hate to see this place close, but I still have a RRS closer than me to frequent on a regular basis!
