Since Albertson’s has acquired this Randalls I notice the store is dirtier and less well stocked. Younger checkout staff generally do not say hello or ask me if I’d like help outside… not so for the older checkout clerks that were there before Albertson’s acquired it. Higher prices, dirty store and surly 18 year olds? No Thanks I’ll go to Kroger on Eldridge.

The bakery at this place just threw my sons’ cake together it was so messy. I could have done a better job then what they did. I cannot believe they thought it looked okay. I will not order another cake from any Randall’s.

It is a good grocery store. They don’t always have a lot of cashiers but usually pretty friendly. IT is such a disappointment that Randall’s just hasn’t kept up with the other grocery stores. I remember when Randall’s was ahead in everything and opening lots of Flagship stores. Their stores just seem run down. But I would return and it has a Starbucks too.

I go here because it’s convenient on my way home from work and I can stop by the Wells Fargo inside. Overall, I don’t think the quality is any better than HEB or Kroger and it’s almost always more expensive. However, the staff are friendlier here.

I only go to this Randall’s because I work near it, so it’s usually on my lunch break for some quick things I need. But the customer service here is awesome! They have employees all over the store, and every one of them will ask you how you’re doing. Every time I go in here it’s like this! I never get that kind of attention at grocery stores anywhere else, even other Randall’s. It looks nice in there too, and has a great sandwich bar with really fresh ingredients! I only give it 4 stars because they are typically more expensive than their competition across the street.

I must say I like this Randall’s. It’s a typical grocery store but in a slightly classier setting, despite it being nestled in an old(yet characteristically nice) building. Plus, there were several things that were priced better than nearby H-E-B, which surprised me since I grew up with Randall’s being pricier than H-E-B and Krogers. I guess all that changed when Randall’s downsized, closed some stores, and did some restructuring. And if this Randall’s is the result of all the changes, then I’m all for it!

They just redid this Randall’s and it is definitely the nicest of the grocery stores in the Energy Corridor. However, I tend to not shop here because I find it to be more expensive and the selection of goods to just be OK. If I have a choice I prefer to go to the Kroger, it is cheaper and has the same selection.
