If you need a clean cut this is the spot. Camerson is my barber and always comes thru a fresh cut. I’ve never used the other barbers but I’ve seen their work and they do good too. When you need a old school shop that uses blades and stays clean try this one.
(7 month client no complaints cut is always on point)

Found Red’s while touring through Houston on a broadway show, it’s down in the tunnels which I never knew existed. There are several barbers available but I got lucky and got Hollis. This is a real barber shop as opposed to hair stylist that are not allowed to use straight razors on customers. Hollis did a great job on me, and it turned out he had cut Buster Posey’s hair when the Giants where in town. Nice nod to my hometown! Would definitely recommend Red’s and Hollis.

I’d say Red’s is a good old fashion barber shop, but that wouldn’t do them justice. They’ve maintained the courtesy and professionalism that you might imagine when you think of an old fashion barber shop, but this isn’t your grandfather’s barber. Their clientele includes professional athletes, ‘A’ list entertainers and zillion dollar business men from the big buildings upstairs. It’s an unassuming store in the tunnels below Houston, but for $ 20, it’s a really good place to get your hair cut.

It’s in the concourse level underground. You won’t see street level store front. Get into the building and then go down. Got a good haircut from Carmen. Apparently this barber been there forever. I like the local business experience. Will do again. $ 20 in 2015

Stopped in for a hair cut and really got a masterpiece! I needed a cut and style and we discovered this place on they fly in the tunnel system of Houston downtown. Gwendolyn was simply fantastic. She did a wonderful job on my hair and was great all around! Perfect customer service. Ladies ask for her! Please know that this is not just a men’s barbershop only. This lady can cut hair! Everyone at the shop was super nice as well. Truly a barbershop for the old school and new school. My father was a barber so I know the scoop. Check them out seriously do it!!!
