Reserve by the Lake

Marcella in the office and the maintenance are amazing. There are new office people that I didn’t get to work with as much lately during my year stay. I saw maintenance cleaning the property daily.
Any concerns brought to their attention were dealt with promptly. I loved all the ducks in the area!
Some of the unreserved parking could be very tight to park in. Trying to turn left on Barker Cypress in the am is difficult due to unprotected left turn, but the location being a bit further into the residential area is nice instead of on the corner of barker cypress with the other 4 complexes.
Although I moved, I felt the apartments were nice (they are not brand new) and a fair price. Living in Houston there are bugs, you can call the office and they will place you on the pest control list any week you request it. I wish they would have sprayed the breeze ways more though.
The main issue has been the move out. I was told I would be getting my deposit I was even given an exact amount after leaving the place in immaculate condition. However it’s been 40 days and I have yet to receive it. When questioned about this I was told «its in corporates hands. «. Ummm the law says I’m to receive it within 30 days not be dismissive and additionally trying to get someone to answer the phone is vey difficult.
Overall a nice place but I am lowering my rating due to not honoring the deposit return in the legal amount of time and being condescending about it as well as not looking into it further.
