Really bad experience check in 3÷13÷15 at 12 am had the worst experience with the front clerk this hotel need new Managment

I’ve been staying at Marriott hotels a little over nine years. In that time I’ve never had a single bad stay. But like anything in life there’s a first time for everything. My room at this hotel when I first walked in smelled like an Indian food restaurant. I then noticed that the floor was dirty had Ramen noodle crumbs cracker crumbs dust in the corners looks like and hadn’t been swept in a while. I figured I’d look around the rest of the room and everything else seemed okay. The next morning I woke up I couldn’t smell the smell anymore yet when I left the room and came back it was still there I notified the hotel they sprayed the room it still smelled. Upon waking up on the second morning I had left a cup of soda on the table I picked it up to empty it into the sink and I found ants all over the table inside the soda cup and I could follow their trail down the leg of the table onto the floor into the wall. That’s what I decided to do some more digging and I found that the oven was dirty the microwave was filthy the sink I had dried food and debris stuck inside of it oh yeah and did I mention the room smelled like Indian food? None the less The hotel Front desk staff were utterly apologetic and insisted on trying to resolve the issues and moving into a new room however I was checking out in a few hours and it did not matter at that point. I was compensated with some Marriott rewards points and more apologies I understand sometimes bad things happen but maybe since they know that people stay here for prolonged times that they should walk through the room the day after somebody has stayed there just to check it out and make sure there’s no funky smells dirty items or anything like that. Lastly I LOVEMARRIOTT and in no way will this one bad stay affect my future stays.
