I live a couple minutes away but had never been here before — I usually buy wine and beer at Kroger or HEB, and liquor at the place on Fountain View or James’ on Westheimer. I went here for the first time on Saturday right before closing, and I really liked it. Big, clean, prices are very reasonable, excellent selection of everything, and the people at the counter were very friendly. They have a really big selection of beers as well in the refrigerated section. I think the prices for normal beers like Modelo, Corona, Coors etc. were a bit high. The other two liquor stores I mentioned do not have a good selection of beers. Parking was easy, right in front. Although that parking lot can get congested when Kroger is busy. In general I very much liked this place and plan to go back the next time we need to buy liquor or wine. On beer, I will probably stick to the grocery stores.

I just talk to Clint at Richards number two on the Voss road. I asked him if he could get a particular age rum. He said he did not have it in stock but would check and see if he was available through the distributor. Client was extremely helpful in the search for this product. Good people make great companies.

First off, they moved. Just down the road in same shopping center as Kroger between Five Guys and Sushi Choo Choo. Second… Whole. E. Crap. Don’t understand why this place has such a low rating. I love picking up my wines from here and the staff always have good suggestions. Not to mention, they are always super helpful and friendly to me and my boyfriend when he comes in for liquor or for gifts for friends. I came here right after a pixel treatment(see Sona Med Spa review) and told the woman at the register that, no worries, you can stare, I just had a laser treatment and thats why I look so funny. She said she just thought I looked fine and like I just came from the gym. I love her and I really like this place.

Terrible customer service! Went there on a Wednesday afternoon, the only guy working there didn’t know much about any vodkas, let alone anything about wine. And he doesn’t like getting questions, walks away when you’re talking to him. Never any help, never a smile. I said you know whatever no biggie, so I went there a second time few weeks later, again on Wednesday afternoon, and of course, same guy. This time he was carrying a box and bumped into me crushing me against a stand of wines. He started yelling, saying if anything is broken I must pay. I said excuse me, are you going to apologize for running into me? He did the getting real close into my face pointing his finger into my nose thing. I actually got frightened and and I told him this is horrible customer service and that I will report him, and then he accused me of cursing(WHat?!) I learned the owner’s name is Julio Especs, so if Mr. Especs doesn’t take action, I will be reporting to BBB.

An okay small liquor store. Their scotch selection is a little slim, but the prices are reasonable. If you’re lucky you can find a rare bottle of Jura Prophecy or Glenfarclas 105 at a decent price. The wine selection is what you’d expect, but don’t go looking for something like Lancaster. The staff is friendly, but lacks serious knowledge that can be found at many non-chain stores.
