When I plan party in my home I go only in this store for alcoholic beverages. There is an incredible variety of alcohol. Professionally sellers with great pleasure to advise and help you make the right choice. The staff knows their entire assortment. Everyone can have found exactly what he likes.

Charlie helped me put together a basket of wine and liquor to be delivered. He was very creative and helpful and even shot me a picture of the basket before it was delivered. Cost of delivery = $ 7. Perfect!!!

They have a high selection of wines from all over the world. The staff is knowledgeable and knows their wines. Helpful staff in trying to make the correct selection and amount for a party.

I never leave reviews, but I feel strongly about this one… Just walked into the store In search of a rare bourbon for my grooms gift for my soon to be. One of the guys at the counter practically laughed me out of the store. All I was thinking was, how rude! How do you know if you don’t ask. The other guy was nice enough, but seriously?! I will never be shopping at this chain again, I’ll stick to Spec’s.

Stopped in here last night around 8:30 to pick up some liquor, glad they were open late-ish on a sat night. Ample parking, good selection of liquor, friendly cashier. Will be back to check our wine selection since we live in the area.

It’s close(I live across the street) so it’s convenient. I just moved to the area and had a great relationship, perhaps too good, with the liquor store across the street back home in DC so I was looking for a replacement relationship. This won’t be it. The selection is good but there aren’t any signs to help you navigate. At all. There aren’t any signs for region, type of wine, or suggested pairings. When I walked in I told the guy it was my first time in and all he was was, «Liquor is to the right and as you can see wine to the left.». That was it. I picked a bottle of white and didn’t see any stand outs that I couldn’t get other places so it’s just fine. I don’t see myself becoming a loyal customer.

Richards is a great liquor store. They have plenty of parking and there is never a problem finding a spot. Upon entering, the place is huge. Off to the right is all the liquor. They have a pretty good selection, but there are some things I did not see. For example I am a fan of Ten Cane rum, and they did not appear to have it. What they do have is a ton of wine. There are rows and rows of fine wine. Whenever I need a bottle to take as a gift somewhere, I go here. They do also have some specialty foods, but I never buy food in the liquor store. Who wants to drink on a full stomach? Lastly they have a huge selection of glasses and everything wine related. They have every variety of Riedel wine glasses, and they have about 15 different styles of ornate decanters. Any kind of aerator or opener you could think of is carried. Basically you could go from zero to full blown party all in one store. The people here are super friendly and will help you find whatever you need. This place would be five stars if it wasn’t for the River Oaks prices. I know I’ll be back.

When in Houston and in the neighborhood around Richard’s it is a usual stop for the goodies. Large selection of liquor and wine in a clean and friendly environment. And also a very nice variety of cigars are offered for your enjoyment. Unlike many places in Houston parking has never been a problem in the lot that is available for this store.

Me and my friends usually swing by Richard’s every time we’re at Taco Milagro and looking to add another bottle of liquor to our collection. Every time we come around, this place is pretty much almost empty. It has barely any customers in it and they probably only have like two or three people working. I’m not sure why Richard’s is not as popular as Spec’s. Is it the price? Maybe. But honestly, I don’t really remember the prices of the different liquors that I buy. Vodka, Scotch, or whatever. If there is a difference, it’s probably within $ 5 range, so no biggie, I guess? Or maybe it’s because spec’s offer«cash» prices and sometimes offer discounts on certain products? Who knows? As I mentioned above, they probably only have only two or three people working in the store, but since they don’t have as many customers, they’re still super friendly and helpful. Usually my friend always ends up chatting up the manager or whoever’s working behind the counter about liquor stuff. Nice people, great selections, convenient. Why not?

When you think of liquor stores you think dark shady joint. This is quite the opposite. It’s very nice and comparable to a Spec’s. They have a HUGE selection of wines along with higher end spirits. Their selection of scotches is vast and fairly priced. The customer service is top notch and for a nice place they don’t hawk over you.

I was on a mission to find a very large bottle of Johnnie Waker Blue for a corporate gift. To my delight, these guys had what I needed. Their customer service was top notch and I was extremly grateful. Be sure to check this place out when you need anything special or unique, as they are much more than just a liquor store.

What a fun little shop to spend way too much money in! They have a little collection of Reidel glasses(and there’s always a sale section), they have a great collection of wines, and my husband’s favorite – the scotches. The workers are always friendly and helpful with suggestions, plus they don’t only suggest the most expensive in the class. This is a great place to stop by on your way to Downing Street or Taco Milagro(ew), but you have to get there early since they have«normal» business hours”.
