I spoke with the manager and she informed that are having a $ 500 Holiday Special. I love bargains and I can’t wait to have my baby shower here.

I came here recently for a birthday party that one of my girlfriends threw for her hubby. Prior to this I’d never been to or heard of River Oaks Event Studio, but I’m glad I was able to attend because this place created a great vibe for the night that made for good times, indeed!
This is the perfect place to have a party if you’re looking to have a more intimate setting that’s not too big, but just right to accomodate a sizeable amount of people. I would estimate that this studio could probably hold about 150 people at the least. My friend had about 50 – 60 guests in attendace, so the space was perfect. She had a party planner to do all the planning in which they were allowed to have food catered, party themed décor, a DJ, alcohol at the mini bar, and live entertainment– the whole sha-​bang! It turned out to be a great party and her vision for it was everything she hoped it would be.
What I really liked about this spot is that it has floor to ceiling windows facing the street so you’re able to have a little scenery from the outside. Even though it’s Shepherd Drive and not something as grand as the Houston skyline would be, it’s still a good look and gives the place a swanky kind of feel, especially for an evening/​night time event. What’s also cool is they provide valet service so your guests won’t have to go through the hassle of trying to park since parking is already pretty limited in the area.
Finding this place can be a challenge, as they do not have an official sign that says River Oaks Event Studio. I put the address in my GPS but found myself passing it up a couple times because it didn’t catch my attention right away. Eventually I ended up at the right place. Quick tip: It is located in the same lot as River Oaks Beauty Bar– you will see a sign for that. Once you see that sign, pull into the lot and you will see the studio. From my understanding this place recently opened, so maybe they are still working on getting some type of exterior signage.
Overall, this spot was super cool and we certainly turned all the way up that night! In addition to parties, I could totally see this being the ideal place to host small business & social events, showcases, showers, etc. This space can easily be transformed to accomodate any occassion.

So I was looking for a place to hold a large marketing class, and stumbled across this venue on IG!!! OMG, how cool and centrally located this place is. I met with Farrus and she walked me through the venue, I LOVED this place and really think im moving forward with it, I think I came in a little to early as she stated the Grand Opening is not until July 31^st lol I hope they have VALET but other than that its GREAT
