River Oaks Paint and Body

Having to visit River Oaks Paint & Body is almost like having to go to the dentist or a funeral home. You know the visit is going to be stressful and there’s a pretty good chance that harm has come your way if you end up going to see them.
With that said, I have now had to see them three times since my initial review back in October, 2015. The 2^nd visit was because a very cruel man shattered my window in order to gain access to my purse, wallet, credit cards, and medication. He failed to leave a note giving me his contact information, so I ended up having to replace the window myself out of pocket. :insert sarcasm: River Oaks Paint and Body had my window replaced by the end of the business day and even went further and vacuumed out all traces of glass and washed my car to boot!
The third offense was when someone side swiped my bumper in a parking garage. This guy did leave me a note, and after a few angry emails, he conceded that it was his responsibility and turned it over to his insurance. River Oaks gave me a fair estimate, and did a great job as usual.
As one can see, I have now entrusted my baby (2011 Mercedes E350) to them on 3 separate occasions, and will continue to do so should further harm come her way. The service they provide is consistent each time.
As much as I like these folks, I would prefer not having to go see them as much as I have lately — but at least I know if I have to, they will treat me well, and moreover, they will treat my car well. The work they do is SOLID and I recommend them with no hesitation whatsoever.

I just picked up my car from ROP&B, and am extremely happy with the manner in which my car was repaired after an accident. Not only did they fix my car very quickly and do a great job, but they kept me informed about timing with text messages and emails along the way. Also, when I picked it up today, I casually asked about getting a quote for a deep paint scratch/​door ding. The manager not only gave me a reasonable quote in a few minutes, but he had a technician go ahead and put touch up paint on it, just for the mean time, no charge. That’s really nice service. When the tech brought my car around, we noticed some other old surface scratches on my door, been there years. Without pause, he retrieved some materials, and buffed/​polished them out. no charge, very fast. Just lovely service and excellent work.

I am incredibly impressed by the service at River Oaks Paint and Body. I went there after an accident needing some body work/​repairs on my Honda. They had very reasonable quotes, the final charge in my case was identical to the quote (no surprise charges!), the quality of the work was top-​rate, they detailed and washed my car, and they had everything done a day earlier than expected! Jamie was amazing during what would normally be a stressful ordeal, assisted me with the process, and called me after the parts came in to give me updates.
Overall very impressed with the quality and price of River Oaks Paint and Body. I absolutely recommend their services.

I went to this body shop because Mercedes Benz of Greenway recommended them. Initially I was quite anxious since my car was brand new. But they did a fabulous job. Gilbert was extremely professional and kept me updated about the status of the car repair. We had the car back in 4 days. –Anandi

Overall, I was very impressed with the service. The receptionist staff answered the phone promptly and provided the information I needed without delay. They got me in touch with Greg when I needed quick service since I have clients to drive and needed my car back as quickly as possible. He took care of everything. He contacted the insurance company to request payment so I could pick up my car as planned. Great customer service from the whole staff! I highly recommend River Oaks Paint & Body without hesitation.

The reviews are true. I hate I didn’t see the reviews prior to my car being taken here. Greenway sends all of their cars here. I would advise you to make sure you ask Greenway for other options. The one positive, when they did FINALLY complete the work, it was good. The negative, it was a long process. I had to go back THREE times because something wasn’t right. As professionals, I am still confused as to why I saw it and no one else did? Thankfully, I caught it and inspected it before it left the lot. As for customer service, it is absolutely a disgrace and non-​existent. Seriously, the worst. The reviews are true unfortunately so therefore, take it at your own risk. I would not recommend them at all.

They are incompetent FOOLS! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!! They have been promising to have my car done since JANUARY it is now almost APRIL! They should have just told my insurance company that it was totaled, but NO they insisted it was an easy fix. I went to pick it up and the door did not close correctly. The gas cap would not shut right. OBVIOUSLY, it is still not ready. I’m going to have to call a lawyer. I have emails from December promising me a January delivery date. Next Monday. This Friday. Next Tuesday. This Friday. I AM LIVID!!! Feel like calling the local news. I’m paying for a daily rental. They could care less. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE. RUN!!!

Horrible experience. Got the run-​around with wait time & final expenses. They even used the wrong paint color & were annoyed when I asked them to kindly fix it in order for it to match the rest of the car!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If they say they will call you back doesn’t expect a return phone call. If they say your car will be done by the date don’t expect that to happen either ! When I dropped my car off ¹¹⁄₇ they told me two –three weeks to get finished by. Then they said ¹²⁄₁₂ now they keep changing it later and later. I still don’t have my car! They don’t care that you had to turn your rental back in, you have plans for Christmas, that you need to work. Would highly recommend NOT to take your car here! They will jerk you around!!!

I was rear ended a couple of weeks ago. The insurance company tried to talk me into another shop but I am so happy I ended up at River Oaks Pain and body. They did an excellent job on the repair. Everyone one there is really nice and the car was cleaned up better than what you spend at a car wash! It was immaculate! A job well done :-)

I’m a female and let’s just say that I’m glad I know something about cars. I went to pick up my car and my VSA light was on and the control button didn’t work to turn it off. I let my technician know and he was not concerned at all just said it maybe you tire pressure or your service light. Well it was Friday close to closing and I told him what it was for and he just walked off and went home. They half put my side fender on along with other things. I guess I noticed too many things wrong with my car. He got frustrated and didn’t want to do the job he is paid to do. So I didn’t get my car back until 47 days after it was dropped there. I thanked my friend for the worst referral ever. So the bad review I did read about HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE is TRUE

This place rocks! I had a choice to take my Mercedes to this shop or one on 1960 area. I read the reviews and was very hesitant. (I am very picky). I scheduled an appt to interview before making my selection as to who would get the job. So glad I did, I saw there work, talked to Robbie. KNOW that there are always 2 sides to every story! They went to extra mile to insure my care was done correctly. I hope I don’t have to go back, but if I do, % stars for a AWESOME, WONDERFUL, FABULOUS JOB. Thanks again Robbie and crew!
PS: when your airbags deploy, and your seat belts have to be ordered from GERMANY. Don’t expect it to happen overnight! NOT River Oaks Fault, so don’t blame them for something that is not in their control… Just saying. PSS that is my comment for Mr. Complainer who grips and doesn’t tell whole story of WHY HE had to wait!

I have so many good things to say about River Oaks. When my car was broken into on a Friday afternoon and thousands of dollars worth of electronics and belongings stolen, I was devastated. With the side of my Lexus dented, the passenger window busted out and shards of glass EVERYWHERE, I drove it straight to River Oaks after filing a police report. While dealing with my auto insurance via phone x i hour, the kind people at river oaks worked with me to get a rental car. They were so understanding and supportive that afternoon. They worked with my insurance company seamlessly and today when I picked up my beloved Lexi, it looked immaculate– good as new! The turn around time for parts (ordered) and service was about two weeks, but they did it right which is all that matters to me. Every staff person I spoke with over the phone was wonderful and efficient. Even the technician who pulled my car around was professional and kind. I’m very impressed with the service and support I received from River Oaks Body Shop. I’ll be recommending them to all my friends.

Awesome job!!! Took my Infiniti M35 for minor body damage and they completed work in less than a week. Every other place said 7+ days. The repair service was great, I highly recommend them. Their customer service needs a little adjustment, but overall happy with my experience and I would take my car again if needed.

This is the second time I’ve taken my car here. The first time took two and a half months and I’m still waiting on my car which they said will be ready in three weeks. Six weeks total. NEVER AGAIN!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The shop got my car September 25^th and I am STILL waiting on my car to be finished (October 29^th). The horrible part is, they set expectations of completion dates and keep extending the date without informing you. In addition, they have the most nonchalant and rude staff when you call for updates. Don’t care if your rental is accruing charges, don’t care if you move November 1^st and need your car, don’t care how you get to work. If you do call, ask to speak with Ida (Manager). No one else can do anything for you. Just picked up my car (October 30^th) right when I drove off the lot I noticed a check light. Took it to my dealership, turns out the tail light is out. Not to mention my car is soaking wet with armor all. Very disappointed.

I took in my mercedez glk with what I thought was a scratch but ended up to be just some paint marks and they cleaned it up for me free of charge. Considering another place was going to charge me $ 900 to repaint this «scratch» I’m very impressed by their honesty. Customer service was also very warm and friendly. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Terrible attitude and service. Definitely not worth dropping your car off here. Keep in mind that if you drop your car off at Mercedez-​Benz Greenway, they contract to this body shop. Be sure to mention that you’d prefer to have work done at a different shop. They had my car for much longer than they said they would and were extremely inconsiderate about it. They also did not tell me when they decided to change the original work that was supposed to be done on my car. In which case, my car and I suffered. When I tried to talk to the manager about it, he was extremely dismissive and rude.

I just picked up my Mercedes C300 from River Oaks Paint and Body and I could not be happier with the quality of their work. My car looks even better than BEFORE the accident (which I didn’t think was possible).
If you ever need any body work on your Mercedes, these guys are CERTIFIED. Only a few places are Mercedes Certified in Houston and they are at the very top in terms of quality. They are so good, in fact, that my dealer (Mercedes Greenway) recommended them to me!
If I ever need body work again, I am definitely coming here first! You should too!

I got into a little accident a few weeks ago and River Oaks Paint and Body came to the rescue. They were wonderful! Not only were they nice but my car looks brand new. When I picked up the car, they vacuumed the inside and washed the outside. Talk about great customer service… They also said it would take a week to fix and it did! I highly recommend this place if you need any repairs done to your car.
