I decided to post an update to my original review because we finally did receive a call back from the company — granted it was after we filed a complaint with BBB, but nevertheless it was a call back. It appears the company had«scheduling problems» and they«got overwhelmed», which I completely appreciate. One thing I don’t get is why they didn’t call when they couldn’t keep appointments(happened at least 2 times!) and why they didn’t return phone calls and messages when we tried to reach them. Making a phone call back to a customer has nothing to do with scheduling issues — a phone call(or even a text for that matter!) takes less than a minute(we sure got plenty of texts and phone calls from them after the BBB complaint). As far as the services, I understand that the company was under no obligation to remove the rodent captured by their trap — fine, we had already dealt with that on our own. But not to keep scheduled(confirmed!) appointments(for which we took time off from work) and to never show up and not call — that’s the part I cannot understand regardless of what their«scheduling problems» are. A phone call is easy. Their phone call came too late. I truly hate that honest reviews are so «harsh» on them, but the reviews are HONEST — that is EXACTLY what happened and the public deserves to know. In this day and age of internet reviews, every business must care greatly about customer service and timely customer communications. If a business is having issues, inform your customers in advance, offer a mitigation plan, take care of your customers. Royal Pest Control failed to do that for us, so we will not be using this company’s services again. I know it’s a small business, which is always a challenge in itself — I appreciate that. Still all of the issues reported here are easily preventable. I hope they will bounce back from their mistakes and do right by their remaining customers.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This company is a total rip off. They take your money up front then leave you hanging. On March 21st, 2015, I contacted this company to remove a raccoon from my attic. I spoke with Adrian at who assured that they would be able to take care of my problem that day. He came out and setup a trap on 3/21, told me that he saw the raccoon(I don’t know why he didn’t get it then) but it would go into the trap overnight and to call or text him the next day to have it removed. That was a Saturday night. I tried reaching him both via text and calling numerous times and he didn’t respond. It wasn’t until I threatened to place a stop payment on the check that he finally responded and said that he would be at my house at 6pm. At 5:25pm, he called me upset because I wasn’t at home(I was at a hotel) and stated that he was with his family and didn’t work on Sundays. I asked him why did he tell me to call him if that was the case? After meeting him there he went into the attic and said that the raccoon was not in the trap, and that he would check the next day(he did). Still no raccoon trapped(I could hear it in the attic). I asked for another strategy, but he said there wasn’t one and to just wait. That was March 23rd, and I have not heard anything from him since. I have called and texted several times and have not rec a response. I received a call from a lady in cust service stating that he needed to come and retrieve their empty trap, but I told her the problem is still there. She said he will be there on 3/27, but he didn’t show up or answer when I called. I called multiple times and didn’t get an answer. Raccoons pose many health issues because of the parasites and diseases they carry.

The worst experience ever its a fraud. the guy came to our house to solve a rodent problem they took the money he put some traps he said he will come for four more times he never shows up. they took $ 250 they did nothing we kept calling them they never answer. I am filling consumer complaint because of fraud. Never deal with them they are just thives.
