Someone needs to help this place with their customer service. The owners are incredibly nice but their staff need some help. Of the two people they keep staffed, one needs desperate help in customer service. It will not break your face if you smile or if you try to be nice to people. They have restrooms here for their customers but don’t keep toilet paper. The tailor here does a good job, but he needs to improve on his communication skills. I wish he had not drawn a picture of what he was going to stitch but rather show me a picture of it. Also if you’re going to put in cups for a saree blouse, then why make the back so high that you can wear a bra?

Not sure why the ratings are so poor here… I had a good experience. Was able to get a dress with same day alteration with a price I wanted. Advantages– the styles here were in fashion. Some of the neighboring stores had designs from several seasons ago. Disclaimer– this is a store where you bargain. If you are a novice at bargaining at Indian stores in Mumbai, Delhi, etc this place is not for you… really felt like I was in India, bargained and«insisted» on things exactly like how I do in Mumbai and walked out very satisfied with a great fitting dress.

this place is very small and somewhat more expensive than other places. they dont have ready made made saris either. but they do offer the sewing service– however they do take several days. they have some of the newer designer saris but the prices are too high to justify the expense for such a small range to choose from(maybe 1 – 2 different ones). i went there with some photos of saris i was looking for and they showed me other things instead and said it was«the same» but it obviously was not, when i reminded them what i was there to look for they stopped helping me, put things away and ignored me. my fiancé found something he liked so they paid attention to us again bc we were gonna buy something, then they tried to push me into buying something i didnt want. the worst part– i found a heavier beaded shirt for my fiancé at another store(roop sari palace) for way less but the damage was done and they dont take exchanges or refunds. they did however try to convince me to get my money back from the store where i bought most of my bridal gowns even though they knew that store didnt accept exchanges or give refunds, they even told me what to say, just so i could buy one of those designer saris that didnt even match my wedding colors. i did like that they had just the sari wraps to sell by themselves without the skirt and blouse. they were more expensive and less detailed than they were on ebay for the same price and when i told them that they said to go ahead and buy it from ebay, so i said i would. then they back tracked saying that it wouldnt be a good product that my outfit would be ruined etc. i will try ebay, if i cant wait that long for the delivery and i get desperate i will return to this store and hope theyre a little nicer and a little less aggressive.
