Sewell Cadillac of Houston

Took my Cadillac CTS-​v in for service because I had multiple lights come on, car stayed in shop for a month, called me in 3 times to come pick the vehicle up everytime with lights that would turn back on as soon as I was about to leave dealership. Ontop of that there was check engine light on that was never on before I brought it in. When I got it back when they finally figured out the problem the coolant hose was not placed right and the supercharger pully shredded the hose. So now I have made another trip down to Sewell to replace the hose. I know they take pride in there service but there was many unnecessary trips that I had to make all the way to the dealer. I also forgot to mention one of the times I picked up my vehicle my hood was not latched down properly and popped up on the freeway when I was headed home. I have been calm with the situation but I’m sure many others wouldn’t be. Most likely would never buy a Cadillac again.

We had a flat tire and used Lynn for roadside assistance to come change it for us because we didn’t have a spare. He was very friendly and informative! Great experience!

Today for the second time in about 6 months I had another bad experience in the service Dept with Ryan.
The first time a few months back he knew it was important my car be ready at a specific time. When I arrived it was not ready and I had to wait another 1.5 hrs, causing me to miss a school event for my son. Had he called me I could have made plans to pick it up after the event.
They actually credited my service because I was so upset.
Today, car is sitting ready. 30 min later know one knows where my keys are — he was clueless. Didn’t even know the car was up front.
It’s like a 3 ring circus with no ring master.
I see another reviewer has had similar service issues — wondering who her service coordinator was …

Thank you Martin Nguyen! I love my new 2015 Cadillac SRX. This was my first new car purchase and I was blown away from the experience I received from Martin. My husband told him that I needed to get an SUV because I am pregnant with my first child and my car would be too small to accommodate everything. When I arrived at the dealership to receive my Cadillac he had a dozen roses for me and a card signed by everyone in the dealership congratulating me on my pregnancy. He showed us a great tour of the dealership abd introduced us to several people and made me comfortable if I had to come back for service without my husband. He made sure I was also 100% comfortable with my Cadillac before I hit the road. Did I mention that I had a big red bow on my SUV! I recommend asking for Martin Nguyen if you are purchasing a car.

Scott Jones was my salesman and did an excellent job. I was very happy with Scott’s attentiveness, me and my girlfriend were on the property for only 2 mins before he came over and greeted us. I have not bought a new car in a couple of years and was nervous. Scott made the transaction really easy and was able to answer all my questions. Sewell (Nick) was able to approve me in minutes over the phone and had all the paperwork ready when I arrived. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Best car buying experience ever

We had the BEST experience at Sewell! Neither one of us had bought a car at a dealership in quite some time, and honestly, we were not looking forward to it. From the the minute Scottie Jones opened the door for me on that first day, everything was first class. I never thought I’d say a car buying experience could be enjoyable, but this one was. Everyone we dealt with was professional and wanted only the best for us. After we signed all the paperwork, Scottie spent over an hour with us inside the car, setting everything up, and teaching us what all the buttons do. It was incredible. When I drove it off the lot I felt 100% comfortable because I knew how everything worked!

I was recommended to Sewell cadillac in katy by a pre-​owned salesman named Rob Armstrong at swell infinity in spring after not being able to find the perfect car for me there. I liked the benefits that Sewell had to offer (free car washes for life, complementary car loaners for life, complimentary valet parking in market Street and city centre, and the spectacular customer service that no other place has to offer), so I just knew buying a car through Sewell was going to be the best place to purchase a pre-​owned vehicle. When I went to Sewell cadillac Matt Hinton already had a white 2011 cadillac SRX ready for us to see. However, although it was at the right price, it did not have navigation, sunroof, nor a backup camera which was on my must have list for purchasing a car. I let him know my concerns and he found another SRX performance collection in a mocha color. It had everything I was looking for, but was priced a little over my budget. I did not think I could afford it, so I didn’t show much interest in it. However, Matt went to talk to his manager and was able to work his magic because he was able to bring the price down for me. I was able to drive off in a car that I thought I could never get. Because the car is certified, they replaced all 4 tires with brand new ones, new brakes, and gave the interior seats leather treatment (which made the car look brand new). You would never be able to tell that I bought a used car. I am extremely happy with the customer service that Matt was able to give us and I am so proud of purchasing my car at a great deal (less than $ 27,000), which I could not have passed up on.

We had nothing but a positive experience with Pierre when we recently purchased our certified Escalade. Pierre was extremely knowledgable and knew all the differences among model years as well as trim levels. We had our young boys with us and it didn’t bother him at all that they were «being boys» and causing a little trouble. I worked with Pierre for months while waiting for the perfect car and he never once seemed annoyed with me for walking away a few different times. When we finally signed on the dotted line, Pierre drove our car all the way out to the The Woodlands to deliver it to us. We can’t wait to buy our next car from Sewell and Pierre!

We purchased one of our vehicles from Sewell and had such an awesome experience that we referred my mother-​in-​law to Sewell to buy hers as well. Both experiences were pretty amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and never made us feel pressured to close the deal.
So why am I only giving them three stars? Well, since my mother-in-law’s purchase, we have taken her car into the service department; once for regular maintenance and once for an issue with the sunroof. Not once, but both times, we were told the car was ready to be retrieved only to get the car and the work had not been completed.
The first time, for the issue with the sunroof, we drop it off to stay a day or so, but they provided us with a loaner which was helpful. However, they call us back and tell us the work has been done, so we drive out there to pick up the car. We go through the process of checking the loaner back in, get in the car, start driving away and check out the sunroof only to find that it is exactly the same as when we brought it in. We turned right back around and brought it back. We had to then go through the the process of checking out another loaner and leave the car for another few days before we finally got the car back with the sunroof fixed. They were very apologetic and we thought there just must have been a glitch in communication somewhere along the way.
Today, we brought it in for low tire pressure and a car wash. We hung out at a little restaurant right there next to the dealership for about an hour, the amount of time they said the wait would be. So we finished up and we walked up to the service bay to see our car was sitting outside waiting for us. We get on the road on our way home and we decided to check the tire pressure only to find it still reads the same as it did when we got there. We called On-​Star to check the pressure and the monitor to make sure there wasn’t an issue with the monitor. They confirmed that there didn’t appear to be an issue with the monitor and that the tire pressure was in fact still low. Needless to say, we were pretty disappointed that this had happened again.
The sales department was superb, but their service department is seriously lacking.

I had a great experience with Sewell Cadillac. Lizzy Gomez was helpful and had great communication while my vehicle was being serviced. Christine in the loaner department was very helpful and had the loaner vehicle brought up to the front and ready to go. When I picked up my vehicle it was nice and washed and ready to go up front. This will be the dealership I will continue to go to for my service needs and the next Cadillac I purchase will definitely be from here. 5 star service and staff.

Matt in the service department is excellent. Easy to get in touch with and promptly returns calls. Second visit with my CTS-​V and will use them as long as I own it.

Such a great place to buy a car and no pressure at all! I bought a used 2008 SRX and was treated as if I was buying something brand new! Friendly environment and very up front about the cars they sell! Would recommend this dealership to anyone!

Excellent servicemanship and a great team of workers. I purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee from Jason and Tim three weeks ago. The service I received was excellent. My daughters and I came at a time when it was raining and we were sitting in the car looking at cars, Jason did not hesitate to get in to help us. He had more advise than I had questions. We were given a grand tour of the facility, which is something I have never recieved anywhere.
I returned two weeks later to purchase the vehicle I test drove and thanks to this great team of workers I am completely satisified. I leased the 2015 ATS Coupe from Sewell and Horacio was an exceptional salesman. He took time to understand what I was looking for and find a vehicle that met my needs. He was very communicative, helpful and pleasant through the entire experience. He possessed an expert knowledge of the ATS, discussed options and answered all of my questions. During delivery, he assisted me with setting the vehicle up, made sure I met the service tech and after, followed-​up to make sure I was happy with the vehicle and didn’t have additional questions.
All-​in-​all, I was incredibly impressed with Horacio’s customer service skill. He’s a wonderful example of what you hope you have working at your company. My company has a value system we use called RISE — Respect, Integrity, Service Excellence. I kept thinking through my purchase that Horacio was an excellent example of the RISE culture.

I needed to bring my 2012 SRX in for an oil change and a recall repair. The service team scheduled me in quickly with a loaner as always. Sierra our service representative was incredible. She was extremely professional with a dash of delightfulness. We mostly enjoyed her passion, which is rare to see now a days. Our vehicle was ready to pick up within 4 hours which included an inside/​outside cleaning.
They have a great team of service people. Our experience is consistent every time. Now if they can just open up a Chevy dealership for my husband’s truck service, all will be perfect!
I do feel a need to comment about the sales team. We bought my car in another state so I only have outstanding experience with the service team at Sewell, thus my 5 star review. Unfortunately, while we were waiting for a loaner, my husband went into the showroom to look at a $ 75,000 V Coupe. He was quite put off by the sales team because they acknowledged and greeted a more conservative looking gentleman and completely ignored my not so conservative husband. Come on folks, you should know better than that…
