Shane J Bowen, DDS

I’ve been seeing Dr. Bowen for close to 2 years now. He’s also treated my sister. I’m also impressed with how clean the office always is. The front desk receptionists are AWESOME. They are always so nice and greet me with a big smile. I had two teeth that needed to be built up and have crowns put on Dr Bowen did an excellent job and after almost 2 years I do not have issues with those teeth. They just did the molds for my braces last week and they should be in in a month. I can’t wait to have them put on, have straight teeth and smile confidently.
I highly recommend Dr. Bowen so I’m giving five stars for an excellent job well done.

If I had to guess a motto for this practice it would be greet everyone with a handshake and a smile. I’ve moved quite a bit the last two years so finding a dentist has never been at the top of my list of things to do. After waiting as long as I did, I started asking coworkers if they would recommend their dentist. Low and behold Dr. Bowen’s name came up and after my coworkers rave review, I knew I had found where I would be going for my checkup.
I made an appointment and saw Shane two weeks later. The building was easy to find but parking was tricky as there are only a limited number of spots for the building which consists of three different practices. Dr. Bowen’s office is on the second floor and I was greeted warmly by the three receptionists who all shook my hand (now that’s a first). After filling out a form with the common medical questions, I was taken to a room by the hygienist who smiled and shook my hand as she introduced herself. She gave me a goody bag filled with toothbrushes, floss and tooth paste. She then explained the process that would take place in regards to x-​rays, examine and cleaning. It was quick, easy and painless.
Once the x-​rays were taken, Dr. Bowen walked in, shook my hand and introduced himself. We went over the film on the TV above (yes they have TVs in the ceiling) and we discussed the questions I had. He was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. It seems nowadays whenever you see a doctor, they are always in a rush and don’t take the time to actually get to know you but I didn’t once have that feeling here.
Overall great experience and for once I’m not dreading coming back for my six month checkup.
