Tamborello and Bowen,DDS

I have been with Dr. Bowen for a few years and always been very happy. It may seem odd to be happy about going to the dentist but for someone who has issues with their teeth it is nice to find a good one. I have been to many dentists due to moving around the U. S and Dr. Bowen has been by far the best dentist I have been too. He assisted in setting up the best plan to take care of my teeth but still be financially sensitive. He also didn’t start out by saying that i was going to have to spend thousands of dollars and we needed to take care of everything immediately. (which is what I’ve been told by many other dentist because they want to make quick money as opposed to taking care of the patient) I highly recommend Dr. Bowen, he is caring, gentle, professional, and a very nice doctor.

Can not say enough great things! So glad I finally came here instead of continuing to choose dentists who offer low prices (but even LOWER quality). Turns out the fees were lower than I anticipated considering how well run the practice is. From the incredible and responsive staff up front who helped calm my jitters before hopping in the chair (Thank you Anna and Violetta!), the kind and caring hygienists who took the time to listen to my concerns (Thank you Arelys and Lori!), the up-​to-​date equipment and calm environment, your ENTIRE team helped me feel confident in choosing Dr. Bowen in taking the next steps towards restoring my smile and investing in my health! Brittany was excellent in helping me understand my options, thank you thank you thank you!

I went in today for the start of my first root canal. I’ve never had one before, and I was scared to death by horror stories others had told me about theirs.
It tuns out I was afraid for no reason. Dr. Bowen prepared me in stages, taking his time to ensure I was okay and properly numbed up. The whole thing took about an hour, but felt like ten minutes. I am not exaggerating, either.
I’ve had cleanings that were more traumatizing.
Every person there, from Dr. Bowen, to the nurses, to the office staff, are genuinely wonderful people and have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable and well taken care of.

My experience with Dr. Bowen and the staff at Tamborello and Bowen has been excellent. Everyone has been friendly, helpful, patient, informative and professional through every step of the process (exam/​cleanings + several fillings). I have called for short-​notice appointments and been seen that day. Amenities for the dentist-​averse include nitrous and ceiling-​mounted TVs with headphones.

Extremely nice and helpful team! I love the office staff and my hygienist. Dentist does a through examination and listens to the patient. No over aggressive treatments here.

Tamborello and Bowen is easily the best in dental office in Houston. I was referred to this office by my coworker. Immediately upon arrival, you’re greeted by a welcoming staff. They give you a welcome letter as well as a welcome gift (something I’ve never seen before). Everyone is incredibly nice and helpful. Dr. Bowen did a great job of explaining what was going on with my teeth and recommended a few things that I needed. The dental hygienist was incredibly friendly and helpful as well. I definitely recommend Tamborello and Bowen

I’ve been going to Dr. Tamborello for 8 years now and am wondering why I’ve never sung his praises on Unilocal.He really really is, quite honestly, the best dentist I’ve ever been to (and yes, I’ve been to many). No bad experiences at all. His staff are the best, too. They make you feel welcome while maintaining a professional atmosphere. The hygienist, Laurie, is great, too. She explains everything and is gentle and eficient. If you’re looking for a dentist in Houston, this is the place to go.

The experience I had at the office of Tamborello and Bowen was quite possibly the best dental experience I’ve ever encountered.
After having a faulty filling, done by a dentist from my past, I found myself in a bad situation with a swollen mouth and the inability to chew solid foods. I came across Dr. Bowen while frantically looking for a new dentist. He was covered under my insurance so I decided to give his office a call right away since I was in so much pain.
When I spoke to the receptionist, Vicki, she was extremely helpful and scheduled me for an appointment straight away. She was very concerned about my problem and even remembered who I was upon my arrival.
The dental hygienist was the first to greet me in the examination room. She did so with a smile and a great attitude. I usually experience extreme bouts of nervousness when I go in for a dental appointment but she put me right at ease.
All the events leading up to my meeting with Dr. Bowen were very reassuring and when he came into the examination room he first listened to the problem I was having, and then proceeded to explain the options to me for fixing my toothache. I found his patience and detailed explanations to be especially refreshing.
He performed a root canal on my tooth in less than 2 hours and talked me through the process pretty much every step of the way. The procedure was not only painless but he didn’t charge any extra for utilizing nitrous oxide (laughing gas). On top of that, I was able to watch T.V. during the procedure which always helps when it comes to needing to disassociate from unpleasantries.
By the time I left the office I was no longer feeling the pain and swelling that I had been dealing with for the past 6 months and the price was very reasonable. I feel confident in saying that my husband and I have found our new family dentist and I would definitely recommend this establishment to all of my friends and co-​workers.

As a purveyor of pain, Dr Tamborello falls down on the job. No Steve Martin character from Little Shop of Horrors here, just the smoothest, most pain free and comfortable experience one could hope for.
I keep trying other dentists, because Dr Tamborello is quite expensive, but it always comes down to pain and attention to detail and this is the best dentist I have found in my life. I seem to be highly resistant to the anesthetic shots, and every other place refuses to take notice until I try and bite their hands off, here they actually listen to the patient, a big score.
The overhead TVs are a funny touch for me as, as they are often tuned to soap operas, and may cause numbness of the brain, but they will switch them off.
If you are going in for a cleaning, the staff of oral hygenists are unfailingly cheerful, almost to the point of being too much. I cannot understand how they can believe that they will ever get me to floss, but they keep trying.
