Skylar Pointe Apartments

I would give negative 50 stars if i could. Mold in the walls and air vents. They just paint over it. Appliances break all the time. After a few months of complaining they give you a used appliance that stops working after a few weeks. Maintenance people rarely come to fix anything, always saying they are coming and never show up. When they do show up they half fix the issue to shut you up then it becomes a problem either as soon as they leave or the next day. Pool is always filled with piss making water green. At night people party with drugs and alcohol. Dogs running around with no leashes. Nobody picks dog poop. Roaches and spiders everywhere. Bed bugs. When you call leasing office to complain and they remember your number they wont pick. Complained about broken dishwasher for 2 years then finally had to take dirty dishes to leasing office and drop them on their desk. Then after a week we got another dishwasher. Roof leaks, outleaks shoot sparks at you when plugging and un plugging stuff. List goes on

Roaches, roaches, everywhere. Water runs brown. I stayed at this apartment over the summer. While they were busy renovating the leasing office for a nice, new look to attract customers, they should have been actually rebuilding the apartments. Would not recommend.

AWFUL!!! If I could have done negative stars, I would have.
Bed bugs (numerous apartments. Pest tech confirmed & heard from other neighbors. Tech said some of the tentants were infested & were not properly preparing their apartments & the staff was unwilling to communicate this to these tentants),
roaches (for all 7 months we lived in this apartment & asked numerous!!! times for pest control. They would come but was unable to resolve the issue),
paper thin walls & ceilings (heard the neighbors in upstairs apartment no matter what they were doing),
noisy neighbors (goes along with the thin walls & ceilings),
broken security gates (all of the gates stayed broken),
trash overflowing from dumpsters,
people openly having sex in cars in the parking lot (true, Saturday at 10 am. office staff just laughed),
incompetent & uncaring staff (Was told we could put lease in my hubby’s name only, then when time to pay deposit was told I could not live there if we didn’t pay additional application fee & deposit for me. Once deposit was paid, the apartment was to be ready within approx 2 weeks. Asked numerous times if needed anything further, was told NO. I was in TN while my hubby started work in TX. I went back to TN and a few days later was told that I need to send signed lease back that same day or would loose deposits and apartments if not sent back. Had to pay $ 17 to fax at Office Depot. They wanted to put us on pest control list for following week when bed bugs were found),
expensive water bills (approx. $ 70-​$ 80),
slow on getting maintenance issues resolved,
on and on and on.
Would not recommend to my worst enemy!!!
