Like Kristin D. writes, this place is very hit and miss. The service has improved somewhat from when they originally opened. No longer are the servers referencing the menu when I ask for a sandwich though I have to remind them every once in a while when they miss an ingredient. My main issue is that they are constantly out of food! If I grab a late lunch, then I can understand. But if I go down there at 1 pm, I shouldn’t expect the place to be all out of basic food items. Also, I never know when they’ll have something in. On some mornings, I like to grab a blueberry muffin for breakfast, yet they probably have them for sale maybe two days out of the week. When I asked the cashier when they’ll have more in, she said that even she didn’t know since the supplier supposedly ships food items to them randomly. Bottom line is that if you’re looking for a sandwich, you’re probably better off going to the Subways around the corner. Skyline is a little pricey given the size of the portions they give you and quite frankly, they’re a little bland. They only thing I think they have gotten right are their breakfast tacos which are quite tasty.

Completely hit-or-miss. They have no selection to speak of after about 1:15. Today, I ordered a Tex-Mex wrap with a jalapeño tortilla. The server asked me twice if it was a garden veggie. A couple was standing in front of the serving station so I wasn’t sure I was getting what I’d ordered. The servers double as cashiers, so sometimes you wait to pay. Today I didn’t have to. I told her I had what I hoped was a Tex-Mex wrap and not a garden veggie one, and the cashier asked me if it was greasy. I’m not sure that matters. Got back up to my office … the thing is materially correct, but crumpled. It won’t eat like a wrap. I had to cut it in half, dump it in a bowl, and eat it with a fork.

I will second Ako’s review. The customer service is terrible. I have gone on four separate occasions and have been disappointed EVERY single time. After I advised the cashier that a Venti Americano was four shots of espresso, she has been completely disengaged and smug. Apparently, Skyline employees lack in customer service skills. Once, I went to pick up a sandwich after one thirty and they were breaking down the line And said only cold sandwiches were available at that time. They close at three! This morning I ordered a Mediterranean taco and the employee put Parmesan on the taco. When I said the menu showed feta she got an attitude and proceeded to talk smack in Spanish as if I couldn’t understand her. Then, she said they didn’t have feta. Since when does Mediterranean anything have Parmesan? Oh and when I chose a different taco they didn’t have the spicy salsa which is typical that they don’t advise their customers that they are out of something until they piss them off. The other deli in this building was soooo much better. I was there nearly every day. This place sucks to put it nicely.

OK, so I am over being irritated at this place. I have been down twice since my last review: once to get coffee & today when it was too cold to go outside so I headed down for a tuna sandwich on rye. The staff’s attitude has changed for the better & I got myself a rather tasty sandwich today. Granted I did«babysit» the counterhelp while she made my sandwich but by golly, she followed directions well.
