I started stopping by the location since their competitor is not close to get to from my job. I’m actually starting to fall in love w/the smoothies! The staff is always friendly, they take orders very quickly when you drive up to the drive thru, they always remember to offer ad-ons and let me know if they have special and they have me in an out within minutes!

Visited Smoothie King for the very first time with no clue with what to order. The staff was nice and made suggestions. I finally settled on the Pineapple Surf with energy and diet enhancers. The BF had Green Tea Tango with energy and multi vitamin. Enhancers are $.99(buy one get one free) and drinks run about $ 5.00 — $ 9.00. Smoothie King made some changes to their menu, they had a couple of items that were not available, but have a large selection and several drink«type» options. I noticed this location has a drive thru which I personally like. If your new to Smoothie King, I suggest going inside to review your options. Plus you can ask questions and get feedback about your final choice. Overall we had a decent experience and would try them again.

When this location first opened four years ago, I was thrilled! Smoothie King only a few blocks from my house? Yes please! The staff was super friendly and reliable. They got to know my name and order. I even gave the regular employees who helped me Xmas gifts. Since then, for whatever reason, the employee and manager turnover has been high, and customer service has suffered for it. Fast forward to now — in the past year, I have arrived six different times during their posted business hours to find the store dark, locked up, and empty. I’ve hesitated to write a negative review in favor of contacting management personally, but it’s impossible to actually speak with a manager. I’ve called and shown up in person later in the day. I’m always told, «The manager’s not in right now.» The only email address available is to Smoothie King HQ. I don’t want an apology letter and coupons. I’d like to see this issue actually resolved. The last straw was Tuesday(Dec 30) of this week. Granted, we are in the throes of holiday time, but I arrived at 7:40am, which was 40 minutes after the opening time(7:00am) listed on their«holiday hours» poster taped to the door. There was a friendly employee who’d been waiting outside since 6:45am for his coworker(who I assume had the keys) to show up. He was as frustrated as I was. Keep in mind, this is the SIXTH time this has happened, and the others were regular business days where I wasn’t the only annoyed customer going through the drive thru, then parking and getting out of my car to walk up and see what’s going on, only to find lights off and counter stools still stacked from the night before.

Stopped by this location for the first time this morning. I ordered and then the cashier asked how I planned to pay… I said credit card and then she told me that their computers were down. Without hesitation, she immediately said that she would like to give me my smoothie for free because of the issue. She did not even ask if I had cash, if I wanted to come back later, nothing, just offered the smoothie for free. A friendly and customer service oriented employee! Eureka! I’ve encountered the«computers down» situation at other fast food places and the staff acted like it was my fault their system was down, asking for cash or telling me to go elsewhere when I said I did not have cash. I was so impressed with the service I received at this Smoothie King. These types of small gestures are what generate return visits and positive word of mouth and you can’t buy that kind of positive publicity. I will definitely be back!

I visit this location often as a big fan of the drive thru after I leave my gym that’s close by because many times I have my dog with me. They even give me water for my pup so she doesn’t get jealous of my delicious smoothie. I just wanted to commend the store manager for calling the franchise owner to verify a coupon that the window worker said needed to be printed, but the coupon that was emailed didn’t. She even gave me the $ 2 back after I had already paid full price. Excellent customer service. Well done Smoothie King!

I have not been to Smoothie King in 14 years, because I’ve been out of the state. I remember the smoothies I used to get here as being the best. Unfortunately when I walked into this location I was was verbally attacked. I don’t know why, maybe because of the way I was dressed. I immediately left without buying anything. I went to another location and ordered a smoothie. It tasted like there was plastic in the smoothie. I finished it anyway. I had stabbing pains in my stomach for two hours afterwards. What are they putting in their smoothies these days?

The people at this store are very quick. The service is always good, and I can’t complain. Someone gave this review two stars because you have to hand someone your receipt? Someone else complained about the pricing? Those are something to bring up to their corporate… not Unilocal… how annoying!

Smoothie King is the only thing I crave or can stomach when sick. It gives me some calories so I don’t fall into a coma but isn’t greasy nor heavy so I won’t throw it right back up. We always go through the drive-thru to avoid having to get out of the car when looking and feeling like crap. Don’t get me wrong – when healthy, I like it as an occasional treat, too – I just had it on the way home from the recycling center last night.(Saving the eart deserves a smoothie.) I always get the Muscle Punch(strawberry banana). There is something slightly wheaty tasting in the smoothie which I love. They used to take stamp cards(buy 10, get 1 free) but have recently stopped. Boooooo. These smoothies(while a good size – the small is adequate) are expensive. Cut your loyal customers a break, man.

I was outraged to buy a $ 7 drink and ask for a cup for water for my granddaughter and was told BYTHEMANAGER that I would have to pay $.50 for the plastic cup. I will not be back. Jamba Juice will have my business. And the smoothie was barely adequate.

I was excited to see a retail Smoothie King go up near my apartment. I thought, «Great — Now I can enjoy overcharged, corporate fruit gruel being passed of as healthy after my Memorial Park runs!» Inside, the store is huge. A large L-shaped counter dominates the retail space. The walls are lined with the latest and greatest in health food items — protein powders, gels, etc. Now, here is where things get annoying. After ordering your choice concoction, you must take your physical receipt and move along the L and hand it back over the counter to the cashier to cash out. They will hand it back to you along with a copy of your receipt and your drink. They have all of your favorite flavors — I prefer the Strawberry Shortcake one with extra protein powder. This store does have a drive-through window, to make your trip to health store complete in great American fashion.
